Car cleaning and detailing

Anyone have any tips? I am gonna start working on my parents' cars in about a month, so picking out some supplies on Amazon.

My only advice is if you smoke or vape in your car- Clean the inside of your windshield at least twice. And there are cheap cleaning tools/wands for reaching the far away windshield glass sold at any auto store.

thanks for the tips! The cars are nonsmoking/vaping/hotboxing. And I do have a triangle wand to get all the way to the window joining the dash. Hate trying to jam my hand there, making more smudges.
