Got Lot 3 today! If anyone was wondering if kratom loses its potency after a few years you DONT need to wonder! I took the Herb Research Emerald Thai from 2013 and it packs a punch...it started off chill, then sped up, then leveled off nicely. I liked the overall effects but I usually like slower leaf so I may blend this one in the future to tone down the speed. Good start!

Re: Gumby's Vintage Leaf Reviews
Thanks for sharing Fire! Emerald Thai has long been one of my favorites. I spent a fortune during the first import ban scare (2013?). I think I was buying as many kilos of HR as I could at anywhere from $260-400 each at one point. It was a scary time, there wasn't as much good info about things like there is now.

Not sure if what you’re sending me counts, but I’m excited to try some 7ohm. I’ll definitely report back.

Re: Gumby's Vintage Leaf Reviews
All the leaf Ive tried so far from Gumby has been very good! Herb Research Red Kali is very nice and well balanced. Long legs and good mood lift. The DG Ultra Red was another favorite of mine. Subtle onset and clean exit mid spec red. Theres a few more I still havent tried yet like the Kratom Experience and Motark Red Borneo. Overall I was definitely pleased wth my purchase! Surprised the lot 7 is still available to be honest. '15 DG green borneo, '16 Gaia and '16 Socal makes it worth the price not even including all the others. I just am taking a break from buying for a couple months but if someone grabs that Id be interested in a review, Ive heard Gaia usd to have fire in 2016 I wonder how good it really is since it seems to be bunk now days. Also packaging was on point. Everything vac sealed was pretty cool along with decessant packets in every bag. Thanks gumby

I had/have some Gaia from early ‘17, and it was hit or miss. Some was definitely good.

Where can I order some? I'm very interested in trying some vintage Gaia leaf once again. That was my jam.

You have to request access to the swap/sell forum. I have hoarded tons of vintage kratom that I'll never be able to consume, so I figured I'd share it with the community I have been listing in lots when I have time in the trade forum.Dinkle-berg wrote:Where can I order some? DG Potent MD is indeed potent and has given me glimpses of a wobble at my normal dose. Very smooth energy though. Made a note to under dose it next, time. I see what the reddit posters back in the day saw. The tranquil indo from Herb Research is indeed incredibly soothing, It's a dry and does not taste at all fresh put it has maintained it's potency. Texas Botnaicals Super Red is consistently reliable mood booster but with enough energy to make it a very positive mid day strain. The TB Red Elephant was slower and less potent in general. The Herb Research Elephant Green Malay#5 is a perfect fast euphoric green with long legs. I can see why it was so popular, HR's yellow Viet was weak but not without a little chill to it. I think this was expected. I'll do more as and go through the list, All in all a very happy with the leaf and look forward to exploring more of it. Thank you Mr Gumby!

Thanks Swab! Hey I wanted to let you know that the Elephant Green Malay and Yellow Vietnam were from 70hm labs, not Herb Research. Any old school Herb Research fans would spot right away that they never carried those strains... just wanted to clear the record.

Re: Gumby's Vintage Leaf Reviews
Thanks Gumby! Sorry about thats a big slip but its the rare connoisseur that would have picked that up, lol. I was doing the review from memory and that's not a strong point for me lol. It's like getting a Jaguar confused with a Rolls Royce. I'll try to refine them with the list right in front of me. There are some I haven't even broken open yet the bounty was so vast between the 2 lots. It brings up the seminal question was Kratom better years ago. I believe it wasn't and that the difference is that there is more mediocre leaf around now.gumbyke1 wrote: Thanks Swab!
