premium kratom vendors?

Hey guys, I want to get some kratom thats considered "premium" tier such as DG or something, but I'd like other recommendations because he requires membership. How is Kratom-OG's stuff right now? Any other vendors with really potent reds and greens at the moment?

Kratom OG is great. That red aceh is on another level. It is the perfect daytime red. I went through my whole bag already and ordering more next week.

Ahh remember the good ole' days of reddit - All day every day "Who's got the Premium Stuff" ? like every few hours. Sort of like, every newbie who discovers kratom... the very next thing they wanna know IS.. who's got The Best? Followed by where and how much it costs

Of Course every single vendor website, all 200 of 'em... Claim their kratom is the best! I can't think of ONE single vendor, advertising good average leaf.. Most everyone sells Premium, right? lol - For one thing, Indo suppliers sell everything at the same price - So jacking up the price "Premium" strains/ compared to "Regular" strains, is done by US vendors as marketing BS.. The honest vendors like KOG, for example charge the same for all. IF customers decide one strain is better? It sells out faster!

I've heard a couple folks talking about Entheofarm's quality... I went and checked out their website though. Absolutely ridiculous pricing- 25 grams for $20. Other than that I think DG would be your best bet for "top-tier" leaf.

Actually Acadica, this year before reddit shutdown / and their kratom was recalled by the FDA admitted their second batch of jongkong was not as good as the first, they called it Jongkong2, their white kali was also mentioned as not as good in a later batch, but they didn't say it was average as I would call it. Although perhaps this was a rational move to prevent bad reviews rather than radical transparency that could be bad for business.

This is so, so true. Thanks for putting it out there! I totally respect people going for premium strains -- I've even recommended looking for "premium" on K-OG's site to others because I know it'll be a great strain AND he charges the same for all of it -- but so glad you brought this up.

Not because looking for "premium" strain is wrong or bad, but because everyone should know before they even start to not pay more for "premium" unless they already know what they're getting into, and even knowing that truth they are still willing to do so. If you know how the system works, you can choose your vendors wisely and put your kratom money where it will do the most good for YOU.

Herbaldom also would mark down sub-par leaf at 40-50$ kilos in their clearance section. Also HS says maeng da just means their "premium" or strongest strain from oldest leaves, which takes some of the marketing appeal away from their other strains, most customers come wanting the pimp strain, but it's good transparency and most of those 200 other vendors should aspire towards these steps, including trashing junk batches of kratom without fear of an FDA recall as the only cause of quality control.

Botanical Bunny may have my next purchase, since they sell premium at the same price, rumor is it is without the stems and veins, unlike most other leaf, it would be interesting to contrast their premium with their other strains.

I think the argument against paying extra for premium could also be applied to an argument against enhanced kratom being sold by kratom wholesalers, it creates a gray area where the vendor can make an extra profit by, say, diluting the amount of extract added to leaf and using addititives in the extraction process which the consumer isn't aware of, aside from the bad press for the gov to use, saying that enhanced kratom is causing hallucinations or worse.

I've had one or two "premium" strains that were a bit better than "average" but I still tried a sample size to check the quality first.

I've never been even mildly impressed by any strain I've gotten from any vendor with the word super in the name. I always liked Herbal-RVA because everything was the same great price and I've never been disappointed by anything I ordered from him. In fact he was the first vendor that I ever ordered a kilo from without checking out samples first and was happy with the quality.

I could say the same. In fact, I'm pretty certain that's why when I'm not sure what I want, I just get another split kilo from Herbal RVA. I read a few reviews, think about what I might like knowing my preferences, and don't even sample with him anymore -- I just get the kilo and take my chances. Our reviewers tend to be excellent anyway, and the search function still works on Reddit, so I've never had a problem finding reviews of RVA strains -- and they're usually spot on.

I have -never- been dissatisfied or unhappy with what I got there, so it's a safe bet. Every time I do it I figure if I don't like something, I can just trade it off later, but I never have, it has always been ALL good.

I only do that with three specific vendors; I don't think I would with any others, though I'm sure more are out there that I'd be equally happy with and just haven't tried yet. But HRVA has been so rock solid for me I take the chance. I'm spoilt now.

Yes and Herbaldom always has a reputation for quality. Right now another vendor Kats Botanicals is blowing out a bunch of decent strains for very cheap. Kats never had much presence on Reddit, because with 8000 customers on Facebook I think he was too busy

Anyway KATS and KOG are both in New Jersey, and both stock a big variety of leaf. "Premium" strains priced about the same!

I got some of his Premium Red Elephant recently and I need more. It's very nice!

Here's a little Sneak Preview of the June 2018 Vendor List .. coming out shortly:

For the first time, we're listing and identifying vendors who sell "Premium" OR Enhanced.

... for higher prices. So vendors who claim to have either Enhanced or Premium powder leaf, that's different from their "Regular" strains. It's a NEW feature to the Vendor List, and one I think many are looking for. And we still identify "X" for Extract sellers, too.

Using the example of KATS and KOG - they are both "X" - but only KOG gets "P" for Premium because he does sell Enhanced leaf, for extra $. Kats carries 2 flavors of Extract, however all his quality powder kratom is the same price

Moon kratom, MMM speciosa, DG, and my favorite local store Nutrition City (call their # to order, they are SERIOUSLY potent). Hear OG is great too but haven't really got around to em. Soon, it's K SEASON and cheap vendors will be decent once again! I'm trying out some indo vendors Butterfly and one other I'll let everyone know how they are. Always searching for that old growth that's seriously lacking in massive "box" vendors that sell far too much and cut quality.

i have found some 'premium' stuff does nothing for me, and then a sometimes-looked-down-upon vendor like MI has fire for me. I really think it just depends on your chemistry and what works for you.

I've been gifted some 'premium' samples. I find they're no better than kratom I've gotten from RVA, MI or other, cheaper vendors. Definitely chemistry.
