Mitra Man's Red Sumatra

Hi doubleM family, I first want to express my heartfelt gratitude for the forum and everyones contributions. As a result, I am now finding some amazing leaf!

This is my first review, so bear with me. I discovered a new vendor though this forum, Mitra Man. I contacted him late one evening and received an IMMEDIATE reply to my inquiry. I knew a few strains I wanted to try from other reviews and then asked for some recommendations.

Mitra Man said the Red Sumatra was universally liked by customers. I was hesitant because it was more of a benty red he said, and I have not had the best reaction to the benty reds from other vendors. But let em tell you...this red sumatra is fantastic! Lots of euphoria, great pain relief and overall good mood boost feeling. Not terribly sedating, actually uplifting, yet deeply relaxing at the same time. I took it as my 3rd burn of the day yesterday, late evening, and it still hit strong, even after i had 2 strong burns earlier in the day. It took like 30 min or so to take effect, but once it did I knew i was in for a ride! It was that warm blanket descending on me type ride. I am over 6 months into supplementing with kratom daily and was not really getting much euphoria with the leaf I had. My tolerance is def higher now, so this review is a testament to the quality and strength of this brothers product.

I will try to review some of the other strains I received from the quarter sampler, once I get around to testing them.

That's a great review! I have some of that strain but it got lost in the shuffle during weeks of intensive buying. I'll get it out tonight.

Thank you for the warm welcome! I think we have very similar tastes. I have followed your suggestions on strains and they have been winners for me, like that Baik Bali from Sosa...man that is some heavy duty stuff! Great muscle relaxer

I too thoroughly enjoyed the Red Sumatra . I grabbed some Red Kapuas I'll be trying tomorrow. I also got some Chocolate Bent I tried of his today and I do have to say that is also a very nice slow strain. Very relaxing. I went through the Sumatra faster than the gold and green strains of his. Definitely going to get more after the kapuad and bent is gone.

I am actually thoroughly enjoying his Red Bali right now, very strong. On the slower side of things for sure, SUPER calming. Great for anxiety. Good pain relief/muscle relaxation. I would purchase it again.

Mitramans Gold MD is fantastic. I actually really enjoy all his golds so far. His gold borneo is the best ome for anxiety I've EVER had and is the only strain that stopped a panic attack. Gold jong kong is decent but the other ones are better. His gold bali is really almost the same as gold borneo.

Question: Have you found the Golds from the past 4-5 months to be crazy good or

I never had that much success with Golds until earlier this year and now, every Gold
I buy is consistently excellent!

Yes on those golds. I bought all his golds they are all great i haven't tried the sumatra yet but its otw. Gold borneo is special. I got golds instead of reds for now

His Golds are top-notch. I was amazed that his much-hyped Gold Borneo was worth all the hype. It always sucks when you're reading reviews, and everyone's raving about them, and you finally try them, and it's like, huh, that was underwhelming. With this last order from Mitra, I've tried all of his Gold strains, so I'm going to list them in order from my favorite to least favorite. 1 Gold Borneo, 2. Gold Sumatra, Gold Maenga Da, Gold Bali, and Gold Jong Kong. This ranking is based more on my personal preferences than the quality of his Gold strains. The Gold Bali, Gold Maeng Da, Gold Jong Kong in June, and the Gold Borneo and Gold Sumatra was from around August twenty-second.

and it's wonderful. It's mid-spec to slightly fast, great pain relief and works well as
an anti-anxiety strain. I was having a rough morning with pain issues and a bit
of anxiety and restlessness (probably from the pain!) Within ten minutes the pain
melted away and I was laid-back and chilled! An hour later and I'm still enjoying the
pain relief and a state of well-being...VERY VERY SMOOTH! Damn, this is good leaf!

Anxiety - 8
Pain Relief - 10
Energy - 5-6
Sedation - really none to speak of after an hour
Relaxation - 8
Euphoria - 7
Focus - 7

Overall, I'd give the Yellow Sunda a 7½-8, all things considered.

The Yellow Sunda is still one of my favorite strains. It's taken a back seat to the Yellow MD ever since it was released but the Sunda is one of my go-to "unwind after a long day" strains.

I also have been very happy with the Yellow Sunda! I have had some painful mornings lately and this has been a lifesaver! Plus, it is also the only thing that I can take when I have a migraine that does not make it worse (besides red bent or chocolate bent). I have bought two batches so far and am definitely going to get more in my next order.
