Re: American grown leaf
That's a New one, thanks for the link! Vendor #402 in the database... Notice, ALL their American Grown Kratom Leaves - are Out Of Stock.
I suspect - Not Ready for Prime Time.. not yet. In maybe 5+ years we could see some decent American Plantation leaf?
Also... the website has a Strains page = Mitragyna Speciosa Genetics - which contains some bullshit. Yeah BS is standard in the kratom business, but these people should know, by now: "The leaves are separated by vein color" is 99% fake.

That “standardized recipes” bit made me chuckle.
We sell only Premium small batch leaf, every batch is tested for quality before release. To place an order, visit our site at https://mitraman.com/menu/

Re: American grown leaf
When you start new trees as clones of an older tree, doesn't the new tree have the same "age" as the original and produce mature leaves quickly?
(I dunno so much about growing plants, but have just got a plot in a community garden trying to produce strawberries and zucchini, and read something bout maturity of clones.)

That's what Labdog said and he's got big ol' kratom trees in his yard and knows quite a bit about these things. In light of.this I'd say yes, the clippings are the same age as the mother tree.IndelibleDotInk wrote:When you start new trees as clones of an older tree, doesn't the new tree have the same "age" as the original and produce mature leaves quickly?

Re: American grown leaf
I'd like to start a kratom tree at my community garden plot, but it'd have to be small for height regulations and I'd have nowhere to put it if kratom becomes illegal here. Nuts.
