Lucid-Fresh Leaf Botanicals (White Horn)

Hello all. I recently had an opportunity to sample some White Horn from LFLB.

I first want to say the customer service is outstanding. A very friendly guy, who generously offered to let a few people on the double M discord sample any strain on his menu. I couldn’t really decide on one, so he recommended and sent me white horn.

It took me a few weeks to get my hands on it, but I finally got to try it yesterday. Here are my impressions:

The strain is potent. Lower doses of his white horn feel like the typical effects of a higher dose from another strain (I guess that’s what “potent” means, lol). It is very anxiolytic and pain relieving, which is always a welcome quality for white vein leaf. These characteristics were on par with a high quality red.

My first dose was at around 5g and I actually found it to be a bit sedating. Once I lowered the dose to 2.5g, I found it to be my sweet spot. Great mood boost - dare I say euphoria - combined with fantastic pain and anxiety relief. Very relaxing, but it went beautifully with the 2 mile hike through the woods. Came home and watched a movie with the family, still feeling fantastic. Cooked up a big meal, did all the dishes, and found myself still looking for some way to channel my energy. Yet as soon as I laid down, I was able to fall asleep.

Very multifunctional strain. Overall I would rate it at a 8.5/10. One negative was that I felt some slight nausea when dosing above 4g. This could totally be a “just me” thing - but I rarely ever feel stomach upset from kratom. But when I dosed lower, the experience was fantastic.

I definitely recommend the strain to anyone looking for a functional white, which can be used during the daytime or later in the evening.

Fresh leaf is very, well..fresh and potent. Great color, smell, and grind on everything I have received from them.
White jongkong is awesome as well.
