Tulsi Gabbard Endorses Legalizing Drugs

Post by Babel-17 »

(I've noted elsewhere how she was part of the small group of Congresspeople who asked for the DEA to keep its hands off of Kratom)

https://www.forbes.com/sites/tomangell/ ... 1c5fe6ed40
Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (D-HI) is calling for the U.S. to legalize currently illicit drugs.

“If we take that step to legalize and regulate, then we're no longer treating people who are struggling with substance addiction and abuse as criminals and instead getting them the help that they need,” the 2020 presidential candidate said at a campaign stop in Merrimack, New Hampshire on Friday.

She was responding to a voter who asked whether her plan to end the war on drugs centered on more harm reduction and treatment or if it involved moving to “legalize and regulate narcotics so that you're no longer seeing tainted drugs on the street...and involvement in the black market.”

The congresswoman replied that her answer was “all of the above.”

A bipartisan group of 51 U.S. representatives is asking the Obama administration to reconsider a unilateral move by the Drug Enforcement Administration to ban the drug kratom, a plant whose opiate-like effects are making it an increasingly popular alternative for treating pain and drug addiction.

The DEA recently decided to place the drug kratom into schedule 1 of the Controlled Substances Act, the most restrictive regulatory category, "to avoid an imminent hazard to the public safety." The ban is likely to go into effect on Friday.

"The DEA’s decision to place kratom as a Schedule I substance will put a halt on federally funded research and innovation surrounding the treatment of individuals suffering from opioid and other addictions — a significant public health threat," the letter states. Mitigating the effects of the national opioid epidemic -- which along with heroin killed close to 30,000 people in 2014 -- has been a major goal of the Obama administration's drug policy.

Are you being sarcastic or you really believe that tripe? lol Seriously have to be joking? If anything, to me, she appears as the white, female Obama. Similar attributes, her persona, phrasing. What isn't a puppet or liason of Russia? "You're either with us or with the terrorists.. I mean, Russians!" Yeah, the same Russians who have together with Iran, Syria, Chechen and other countrymen's volunteers, have decimated US/Israeli/UK/Saudi/Turkey, etc etc proxy army in ISIS and associated terrorist orgs, gangs. Yep! From where I'm standing, I can see why the empire and its goons, on the left and right, would be upset and fearful of Russia. As the dual citizen oligarchs and plutocrats in Russia just the same. VV Putin (and other patriotic Russians around him, primarily in the military and intel agencies, but also other areas of gov) worked to put a stop to the bloodletting that was going on in the 1990's in Russia, what with the wholesale auctioning off, stealing, selling whatever wasn't bolted down. That is the prize, the totality of Russia and her immense resources. Subjugate its people, steal their resources, dominate the Eurasian landmass, and thus the world. This nonsense is not working out like the planners and associated players, puppets had hoped it would. Can't have peace. There is no money in peace. Can't have a strong, vibrant Russia or China or Iran (or Syria, or Libya, or Iraq, or etc, etc) Put as many wrenches and landmines in the natural Eurasian integration, of such endeavors as the BRI, Belt & Road Initiative, so-called Silk Road. Many wars, not least the two big world wars, were about denying Eurasia any type of integration or economic (and military) alliance. What with the sanctions on nearly everyone, how can we blame them for de-dollarizing their economies and becoming more self-sufficient. Creating alternatives to SWIFT, as they are always threatened with being cut off from by the US. Trading in their own currencies, cutting out the Dollar altogether. Every action has an equal and opposite reaction, so goes the laws of physics. The financial system of the West, of the US, is very fragile, vulnerable and time is not on its side. Time is, however, on the sides of Russia, China, Iran, many other countries. Russia has very low levels of national debt. Far more advanced in missile, rocket and electronic warfare tech. I fear our ruling class have few plays left in their hand to prevent the loss of their empire(s) but war (and remember, doesn't the US still have stockpiles of chemical weapons? Pretty sure they do. As well as biological. There is more to war than military weapons, guns, bombs, missiles, etc. US may be able to destroy Russia, Iran, China, et al. But we often forget about the other dimensions of warfare, ie biological and chemical.) It is a tried and true method, their ace in the hole, so to speak. Take 'em to war should things get dicey for the elites. They'll never admit (and also their supporters and followers, just the same) that their system was flawed or worse. They'll never give up their power or wealth without taking everyone else down with them. And they'll never let another JFK slip through again, allow for anyone to correct or challenge them using gov power, the courts (how people haven't got together and formed grand jury's vs the power elite ruling over us, as we are enemy #1 to them, most people understand this, even if they don't wish to admit it.

Whether it is the endless financial fraud done to us, the crashes and the funneling off of trillions, such as the 1.2 trillion $$ Rumseld spoke about before 9/11, again they discovered 3 trillion $$ unaccounted for over the past so many years. The entire military industrial (intel-congressional) complex (another form of welfare, but for the very wealthy) is and has been stealing our destinies, not only ours, but so many millions around the world, either directly or indirectly (now its Libya again!), diverting much of our treasury away from normal civil purposes and endeavors, ie infrastructure, new schools, hospitals, whatever is needed.) So, Ms. Gabbard, how dare she challenge and criticize these people (Neocons, who are both D or R, whatever is expedient for them at the time, psychopaths use whatever means to further their agenda, obviously). What is it really that threatens the powers that be (and their sorry ass establishment, the MSM)? Is it her stance on war (and peace)? Talking about a trillion dollar a year (and more unaccounted for, ie CIA use money from the opium poppy, heroin trade in Afghanistan, one good source, so its off the books, no sniveling before Congress for funding, they figured that one out a while ago) source of income. Some powerful people are going to take a hit. And won't do so sitting down. I swear. I wish I could be naive or gullible, "innocent", "educated" and not know what I know.

It is a part of the American psyche, tradition, to rebel, resist, set oneself apart from the accepted norms, whether it be from the King or our own totalitarian governments or oligarchs, their propaganda machine. People came out in the millions in the 1960's and 1970's to challenge the PTB. I feel I belong to that tradition, that quality of spirit. I may be mistaken in some parts of my understanding, I try to keep an open mind and analyze from multiple angles as much as possible. It is shocking to people to understand just what our gov (and their oligarch sponsors) have been up to, and their views vs the people they govern or cater to. Why they work 24/7 to keep the narrative going. There must be something inherently good about people that they must work tirelessly to maintain their propaganda. With Trump, he's not even hiding it or pretending, he's showing to us the true face of gov, how they really work, what they are about. Some people prefer a more nuanced, better crafted story, justification narrative for what they do (Bill Clinton was one of the best PR men for the PTB in the US, as was Obama. They had their craft down to a science.) And to not reveal the full intent or details (such as being in Syria to steal their oil, thus preventing them from rebuilding their country and prospering again, primary motive.

How sick is that? But that's the reality. He doesn't go that far but what else is the reason? We have plenty of oil and gas here in the USA. Don't need Syrian oil. And Saudi Arabia basically paying to have our troops there and in the region. Assassinating Iran and Iraq's generals in broad daylight. They don't give a damn anymore about optics or the like. Apocalypse, indeed. The great revealing. These are obvious crimes which Trump could (and should!) be impeached for. Like I said, they are all in on it, have their fingers in the pie. Those at the top have plenty of damning information, media on people in power (Jeffrey Epstein, and he was only one, along with Ms. Maxwell, why isn't she being investigated by the FBI again?). They don't dare go after the real people, or their crimes, who actually matter. We are an empire, but its ran a lot like a mafia (or collective of mafias). And said empire is fighting for its very survival, as like all empires before, they don't last forever. We can expect things to get far worse before they get better. But better they shall, just a question of time before this nightmare passes and humanity can move on, prosper, and most importantly, deal with this psychopath problem we have been dealing with for millennia. Sure, this isn't as nice or exciting to talk about (politically or socially) but it must be spoken about as much as possible (1st Amendment, is 1st for a reason!).

Tulsi is a Russian agent. Yeah, that's so much easier to say and get out there, isn' t it?! Makes sense, but doesn't feel right to me. Cheap, lazy politics, nothing more. Dangerous as well, imo.

Wow, what a text wall, can I get a TL;Dr?

I'm not joking, I really have heard that, by many bipartisan sources.
Here's one example
https://www.newsweek.com/tulsi-gabbard- ... 6750?amp=1
But you can easily google Tulsi gabbard Putin and find much more. Russia is propping her up.

She has also said some controversial stuff about Assad and Syria. She even went and met with him! She defends Assad, won't say he's a war criminal, and repeats their propaganda.

Not Neocon enough, huh? Got it. I'm not a fan based on her position vs the 2A, myself. President Assad is not a war criminal, ffs. He has worked tirelessly to rid his country of the US/Israeli/Turkish foreign terrorists that was turned loose on them. He didn't tuck tail and flee like many others would have. He dared to resist the empire, resist Israeli plans for "greater Israel" project, to not allow a pipeline from KSA and Qatar I believe to pass through his country on into Europe, preferred Iran and other countries instead. Probably believe he gassed his own people as well, right? And that the "white helmets" are a force for good (and that matter, that the US also as relates to being in Iraq, per Trump)? Trump was a Russian puppet extraordinaire, correct? A lot of good that did Russia (and Putin)! Trump is being impeached for not rushing weapons to the Banderite neo-nazi's who rule and usurped power in Ukraine in 2014 fast enough, basically. To kill more Ukrainian civilians (who happen to have Russian ethnicity). Americans love war, esp the so-called 'Left', at least the Democrats. Used to be different (or was that all an anomoly? I knew Americans weren't excited about going to war in either the first or second world war, until some events were manufactured to galvanize support. And real conservatives are anti-war, anti-imperialist as well. So the whole lot of them are phony and just lazy. People hear some bs and lap it up and regurgitate it to others. Doesn't matter if it isn't true. Whatever sticks, that's good enough (for the PTB).

Everytime Syrian military (and Assad, obviously) was victorious over the empire's mercs, guess what happens? He decides he's going to gas his people. Has all that momentum going only to piss it away, what with the constant eye of the world on them. Sure, I believe that! And what was the advantage again of "gassing" his people? He is a licensed doctor, this is just rubbish. He understands consequences of actions, I have no doubt. Something Syrians (and Russians) have at their disposal, reason, logic, knowledge, experience, history which I sure wish Americans and others in the "West" had (although Europeans are just a bit more careful and cautious about "taking the piss", as they say in England, believing whatever is told them by the MSM or gov.)

That is our government's, whether the president or someone in Congress, job is to exercize diplomacy. You radicals just lust for war, just admit it. If Hillary was in, we'd all be dead by now, as she actually wanted to enforce a no-fly zone over Syria. Good luck with that (re Russian military presence). Like I said, no different. Republican or Democrat, or Socialist, whatever. All the same at the end of the day. Love war, love imperialism, hegemony, being the world's police. Same m.o., just different approaches, styles. Because Tulsi sees through your bs propaganda and DOESN'T repeat or make it her own, she is bad and just can't be president. Makes me sick. At least not everyone is like you.

Maybe we should? But thats politics and can rather not, just keep political views to your self and stick with kratom subjects. I think at this points mods need to step in and lock this post because it can ugly. You ignored everything Chortle wrote, and he is on point. maybe time to to turn on that cable and watch some more news? Even at my big ass jobs, lots of people watch Alex and they know whats going on, people are waking up. need to stop living under a rock. Go back and read carfully what i wrote, i listen to him for comedy and education, and i dont even agree with some stuff he says, like he supports Trump as we all know Trump is for banksters and in bed with them.

This is off topic. No need for censorship. It's funny you want mods to lock this only after you express your fun ass opinions.

Here are some insane and disgusting things Alex Jones has claimed:
-9/11 was an inside job
-the government has weather weapons
-the Sandy Hook massacre was staged
-chemicals in water are turning frogs gay
-hilary Clinton is running a child sex ring out of a pizza parlor
-Robert Mueller is a demon, and a pedophile
-wind turbines cause cancer, oh wait, that was his bff trump

Here's a helpful guide to everything Alex, including many more batshit theories (Carrie Fischer was killed off to boost star wars sales, the Marjory stoneman high school mass shooting was a false flag operation...hilarious)
https://rationalwiki.org/wiki/Alex_Jones

I don't need to read your post again, like I said, you're into Infowars. You might think he's just being sarcastic, but millions of people accept what he says as truth. He's getting sued for his Sandy Hook claims. I don't understand anyone thinking that as funny.

Look, does that mean i agree with it??? Heck noo... get your mind strait. I said he is on point on a lot of stuff but who doesnt make mistakes sometimes? show me one person who is perfect? i am waiting. And no i am not into infowars, false statment. I watched aleks jones twice this year, and the last one where he went to virginia where they tried to pass gun control laws, i wanted to see his thinking on it. can i ask you why you so racist against other points of views? I looked at his store and i dont even like it, his toothpaste has the most nasty cancer giving ingredients. Do you even know how many people i turned away from alex jones at work and other areas? a lot.. they come in contact with me, they never buy his stuff... he is a good sales man but he dont care about quality, if he did, he would test them first for heavy metals and other crap... so dont even start me... just cause you dont like a man, its your own issues...

I thought you not going to read my posts again? what happened? since i captivated you, then yes, gun control is a serious issue. And he was on point when he went up there. i advice you take a sneek peek once in a while and ignore all his other bs that he does, for example gay frogs and shit. Thats the comedy part and i dont think he is or was serious, his acting was hilarious thought. Now you know what will happen to USA if every states takes all the guns from people and its being pushed hard which you probably already know. So let me ask you, are you anti-gun?

You got a good point ballz, i also think both party controlled by one man. Because they both flip flop a lot and manipulate people. I dont think i will even go vote this year, because their is no point in it. people just need to buy more guns and get ready for the crazy collapse or something. No one knows what will happen, well i am just glad i got kratom, i think we should just focus on what gives us a peace of mind and make sure kratom stays legal.

I am pro-gun control, yes, if that's what you mean by "anti gun" (first time I've heard that phrase). I hope you will one day realize there is some middle ground between the government taking everyone's guns, and letting everyone own AR's "for their protection". If you're the type to need people to own automatic weapons without background checks, you could have just said so. I don't understand why gun nuts don't want background checks. I'd ask about your thoughts on mass shootings but I have a feeling I wouldn't be surprised.

If you want to only focus on kratom, there's the whole rest of the forum to post on. You don't have to post your opinion here and then beg to be left alone. You can be a republican without supporting alex jones btw.

Do you know lots of automatics are being made in Russia to be send to lots of police around USA? yes as we speak... Latest tech guns and shoot many many bullets in seconds, https://youtu.be/mowaYfL2uPY?t=1220 . My point is why would they take away ar's? what are you afraid of? i shot them before, they fund but nothing special about them. i believe if police is getting armed to the bone with automatics then all citizens need to have ar's, is that fair? just cause some people sleeping and watching CNN doesnt mean we watch good channels like "HighImpactVlogs" . and similar none paid by big man. People are waking up, and do i understand correctly that you want to control all guns? that mean with checks? go tell this to cartel or illegal groups that deal drugs and other stuff. You can try but cartels will never register them. Who will defend citizens from cartels and random militia that is not good with automatics when you take that power away from people? A gun can only shoot one bullet and wont stop the cartels automatics.. does that make sense? I do think its not a bad idea but if people register, once state introduce gun ban, they will come to those first who registered, did you not see what happened in virginia? I think personal opinion from watching random youtube and as a observer, people are afraid what happened to Germany will happen here too, and i dont think they will give up their gun rights.

I thought alex was democrat? he is as democratic as you get with his freedom of speech. Republicans are more controlling. But i gave up on the two parties a while ago, like said i seen both of them flip flop. I think people need to make something better then those twp party words. Maybe make a party that is called "The people" and every state gets to elect them what people want as a mass. no flip flops. But what can i say i am not that knowledgeable on these subjects so will leave it alone.

Firstly, I don't watch Alex Jones and have never been a follower or supporter of his. A lot what you spout off, beat happening (your thing is you are in love with yourself, your petty, pretty self. I've figured you a while back.) is that what YOU say are actually conspiracy THEORIES, all the same. You aren't the judge or king of rhetoric. We are all peers here.

Thank you, brave777. Exactly, he didn't refute one of my statements. Just slander me with the usual, tired "conspiracy" bs. And the Russia controlling everything Cold War mentality that has overtaken the Dem party, and your brain possibly, most of that has been debunked multiple times over. I do recommend tuning into Jimmy Dore, however. I like his style, he is usually fair and brings on good guests and has fun with it. Nice to see you on, brave777. I don't usually drink but tn I think I'll break out one of my Founders' 'Breakfast Stout'. Wish I had a Rasputin imperial stout, Mmm..

By the way, I'm not sure I stated that I was a supporter or admirer of Trump?? lol. The one thing I mentioned was, as a by-product of Trump's Chutzpah, his brazen, arrogant, tell it like it is attitude (tbh, a good antidote for the stagnant PC atmosphere that has been taking all the air out of the room for too long, some good real talk, whether I agree with it or not, is nec. time to time, flex our 1st amendment rights. Call out the MSM.) He is hastening the break-up of the US empire (which should not have existed, should have remained a Republic. The people decided they weren't capable of keeping it.) The US did in fact become an empire following WW2. When the Soviet Union collapsed (at the height of which Russia/USSR (there is a distinction!) anyway, they never once turned off the gas to Europe and leaders from the US and USSR still kept in contact, even at the worst of their relationship together.

Now you want people to confront Russia, even people like Pompeo and Pence (God help us if Trump is impeached!) who are Zionist, Neocons to the nth degree. In particular, are lusting for armageddon, and have the means with which to put into motion the events, machines, people to satisfy the ingredients for such a scenario, AND are currently in power. They truly are batshit psychopaths. They, and sadly millions like them who profess to be Christians, Protestant, Schofield, Zionist ideological driven people, actively wish for the world to burn. This should scare the crap out of anyone! Talk about conspiracy theories, sheesh!) Of what benefit to us is going toe to toe with Iran (who have just demonstrated they can bring real pain down on our military personnel and assets in the region) let alone Russia or China? The US has not had to fight a peer since WW2, and even then 2/3 of the most fanatical, seasoned, hardcore soldiers among the Wehrmacht had been eliminated in the Eastern front thanks to Russia and USSR. With USSR losing 30+ million people in that war (plus tens of millions over the years at the hands of their own gov, the Bolsheviks). However they survived the Siege at Leningrad, 900+ days! I respect that, their fighting spirit. That's the thing as well. When people are fighting in their own country, for their land, their families, livelihoods, they have a certain advantage that the invading forces don't as much. Will fight with everything they have, not afraid to die. And as with Islam, they actually see death as a form of redemption, they receive a kind of spiritual capital in the process. It will not end well for the US if they stay there in the region. It hasn't worked out well for us ordinary Americans either. What are we now 7 trillion in debt no thanks to these ongoing wars now?

After the USSR fell, the US became the dominant superpower, and truly came into its own as an empire. Was just hearing a story about the 'Highway of Death' that was unleashed upon the Iraqi people in the 1st Gulf War earlier today. They wasted no time! Serbia, Yugoslavia was next. Iraq again, Afghanistan, Libya, Syria, Iraq again! (via their ISIS) now Libya is flaring up again with Turkey directly involved, they have flew, drove thousands of their terrorists they were using in Syria to Libya to fight against the Egypt and Russian backed GNA I believe. All three players are not lightweights. Trump's reckless policies in the ME (on behalf of Israel, Israel is Trump's biggest Achilles Heel also, ie Jared Kushner, being close with Netanyahoo, its so transparent) assassinating the two men who were instrumental in breaking and eradicating ISIS (and other gangs) from Iraq and Syria was the last straw for me. At the rate things are going we may see a Pence vs HRC ticket this Nov. Now that's scary! Because of Trump's (prob people like Pompeo, former CIA, the faction of the US gov who he represents probably made that happen (or Israel did it, which would be ever more dire!) therefore Trump had to take the flack for it, go along with it (so the conspiracy goes.. I admit, it isn't a fact, we won't know, so many things we're just not going to absolute resolution on. That said, we have the right to entertain alternate scenarios, theories. And many times, and more and more lately, we are finding that these theories are actually facts. So take from it what you will. This is all of our reality, not just one person's which we are experiencing day to day.)

If Iran learned it was Israel who ordered and did the hit, there would most likely accelerate into a de facto open war between the two countries, with thousands upon thousands of precision missiles being launched at Israel, and they won't be able to stop them (all just a numbers game with a lot of warfare, right). Dimona and other vital sites (Israel isn't really such a big country, so many high profile targets within a small space, they are as vulnerable as ever, esp now after losing the proxy war vs Syria (and Iraq) with their failed ISIS operation, now Syria enjoys a fit, experienced, formidable armed forces, and are continuuing to take back their country from them, advancing on Idlib right at this moment, liberating towns along the way. Suffered some serious losses recently but they are keeping up the momentum. I know who was supporting the good people (many who are Christian) in Syria since 2011, it has been Syrians, their gov, military, Iran, Iraq, Russia, Lebanon, Hezbollah vs the empire's lame merc army in ISIS (Trump even spoke to this in the debates with HRC. Obama changed course, strategy to proxies, mercs hopped up on their radical bent of religion and amphetamines and lots of weapons and money, and oil, which Turkey's president's son happily facilitated until Russia entered the fray in late 2015 and spoiled their plans. Began bombing the oil tanker convoys heading north into Turkey. What was the USAF (ISIS AF, along with Israel) doing the whole time up til then?? Just blowing up random places in the desert? Or Syrian military after successfully defeating ISIS and getting them on the run.. cruel bastards.

Damn them for having the nerve to fight back and defend their nation from foreign backed terrorists! Nothing changes with the psychos who rule and operate our military (we are obviously an occupied country, led by multi-national, dual-citizenship persons, who have co-opted our society and military, financial system, they're good, I have to admit it. But that's the thing that brings people down. They get too good at what they do. Get sloppy. Drunk on power. That's why Russia is now at least a decade ahead of the USA (and anyone else, China is giving them a run for their money but they are allies, although no formal alliances. They learned the hard way from past wars, WWII.) in terms of hypersonic missile tech among other tech. The US buys rocket engines from them. There is nothing the US has which can defend against these missiles. Fact of the matter is, doesn't matter what they say, peace is guaranteed unless our PTB are truly as insane as I believe them to be. They actually believe they can win a nuclear war. It won't just be nukes, however. And those hypersonic missiles, many at a time, one after another, will be able to target them deep in their bunkers, rest assured! There will be no where for them to hide. That's if the American people don't get to them first! For initiating a nuke (or otherwise) war to begin with. Yeah, Ballz. You are right, my friend. I enjoy writing, and do tend to get carried away. I'm only stating what I do from my own understanding and I don't profess to be absolutely correct on all points. But at least is good for stimulating conversation. Politics, whatever. This is more than politics. This is psychopaths vs the rest of us, imo. Same ol' song and dance. I look forward to a world without them (governing it, anyway).

At least we had (and there is still some) good music.. and we have not only medical MJ to help people's well-being, health, quality of life, but also the right to consume the herb (in my State, IL, now but I need to get my card so I can grow my own. Want to so bad! Beautiful plant which loves to thrive, and turns out is power hungry, heh Love to grow outdoors if I lived out in the PNW or North Cali.) Russia just is different culturally vs us, many Eastern (and Central) European nations are like that. Just set in their ways, religious? I don't understand why they don't embrace it for its medical value alone. With all the advancements Russia is enjoying, this could be one field the US and Russia could work together on, the medical science of Cannabis. Instead, they've brought out the old, tired Cold War bs again. I may vote for Tulsi if she's still running in early Nov.

She defends Assad, won't say he's a war criminal, and repeats their propaganda.
https://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions ... utType=amp
When she went to Syria she also met with some of the rebel leaders. You might be surprised at who's been photographed sitting beside Assad as part of publicizing their meeting. The Newsweek link was to an Opinion piece, not even an editorial, let alone news. As to using Google, I could Google "Kratom" and "deaths" or "addiction" and get lots of links to articles that were poorly researched.

The link isn't about partisan politics; if Trump Jr. said he'd spoke to Dad about keeping Kratom available, I might post that. If Buttigieg, Warren, and Sanders were to have their campaigns say they want Kratom legal why it's studied (which is as far as they could go during the primaries) I might post that. Biden won't legalize weed yet, so I figure he's a long shot for saying something reassuring.

P.S. Gabbard has a very high security clearance, given the Committees she sits on.

I'm OK with this thread getting locked if it's seen as bringing divisive politics into this very mellow forum. But with legalization being an ongoing issue, politicians will enter into that.

Peace out, my fellow Tea enthusiasts. :)

This is absolutely pathological. You gotta chill. No one is going to read all that. You're coming off as a frothing at the mouth madman.

Lol@voting for Tulsi, you might as well stay home, or just cut out the middleman and move to Moscow.

Why does everyone want this topic locked? This is advertised as an anything goes section. It's like you want to air your extreme opinions out, and then have it locked...so you have the last word? Or be protected from ridicule?

It is a place for discussion, dude. Can you only comprehend one sentence at a time? Too bad, pass on it. I don't care what your opinion is, to be honest. I am not afraid of anything, not least you. You have proven yourself to be a shallow, gullible, adolescent who is amazed by more than two sentences put together. Grow the F up already. Quit obsessing about Tulsi and Russians yourself. Don't tell me what I need to do. You are not the authority and gatekeeper about what is spoken about here, or the length of someone's post (do you have penis envy? lol)

The issue isn't the content of what people are presenting, it is the fact that we are offering an alternative, differing opinion than that of your own. Hence, you actually would love to have this shut down. First you bitched that "I feel this should be in off-topic". Oh, boo hoo.

The take away for me from your comments is that of censorship. Belittle, attack the person, don't bother with the content. You never wanted to see this article posted here on this website to begin with! That is neurotic and pathological! Why? Because she is a Russian agent (whatever that is!), met with the legit president of Syria (whether you like it or not, that's the facts). Typical CNN talking points. That's the issue here, not just observed by myself, but also others have expressed their dismay with your fundamentalist, caustic (just want to argue, don't wish to discuss besides what color shirt I'm wearing or if it is made in Russia or not, trivial bs) comments to people who are sincerely discussing or sharing an article for the purpose of discussing or making people aware (whether they approve or disapprove of her message).

Honestly chortle i dont even know why you wasting time on him. if you see CNN person behaviors just run the other way and ignore them, everyone is with Russians for him, he might even be waking up screaming Russians are coming?..,, You never know. Least i know we got some one on this forum like this. stay few steps ahead of the game instead of wasting your energy and time, ignore. Plus all his behavior screams he use to be X something. they cant make their opinion on their own. just let it go. He already said he is Pro-Gun control, that should explain everything you need to know. Maybe he got fired at CNN there is no telling how he ended up on this forum. I wanted to educate him on something and changed my mind few times, there is no point. ZERO. He already stated he doesn't read your stuff, be it he already knows and is here in dis-info group or be it just ignorant. Unfortunately they are spread around and you will run into them once in a while when their ego is the only way.

First, I'd like to apologize for getting upset. It is unwarranted the attacks on people here by beathappening. Saying I'm pathological, frothing at the mouth. Basically we are stupid to support Tulsi as she is a Russian agent and meets with bad men. Insulting everyone's intelligence. I do get carried away with my writing, but I get that flow and it is somewhat therapeutic for me. I know Tulsi is a veteran and is anti-war (and good to know she is pro-legalization/decriminalization of drugs also, whereas in Russia they are like Indonesia or Thailand re their stance on drugs, not least Cannabis/MJ, which has strict laws against it.)

So that resonates with me and I was just giving a synopsis from what I understand about geopolitics, the US empire, ideologies of the ruling class (which happens to be what is called Zionism, among other ideologies, that is a political movement and doesn't represent Jews around the world. Iran has the 2nd largest Jewish population in the middle east, they seem to enjoy living there. They are free to move if they wish. I have nothing whatsoever against Jewish people. It is this radical ideology/political movement that does concern me (of which there are tens of millions of so-called Christians who identify as Zionist, has nothing to do with race or ethnicity). Primarily, the fact that much of our foreign policy in the middle east/N. Africa is dominated by Israel and Zionists within the US gov, military, and oligarchs [which comprise said orgs, military industrial complex which has seized control of our military, made so many people multi-millionaires and billionaires at the expense of innocent people around the world getting murdered, maimed, their countries destroyed, and they are so sick and sadistic that they have seized Syria's oil producing region so to deny Syria the right to rebuild their country after they destroyed it and terrorized, murdered their people!]

How that doesn't make other Americans furious or at the least, concerned, that is frightening to me. This isn't a game. It is beyond politics. This is a question of morality. In the past Americans (esp. the Left) were anti-war and came out in the millions, even veterans, to protest the wars. I like to believe I belong to that camp, that is from where my passion with which I write springs from. And yes, it does make me angry. How you could care less (and carry on with the MSM/CIA/State Dept propaganda regardless, pretty sure you understand what I'm saying but are playing ignorant or apathetic, THAT is what gets me angry.)

Tulsi is speaking truth to power. Majority of Americans are sick of war. I made the point that that was the case before the entry into WW1 and WW2. They had no desire or appetite for war and had to be propagandized 24/7 and false flags initiated, or putting an embargo on Japan (who were far from innocent, still for sake of argument) and denying them oil and other nec. materials for their survival, it isn't too far fetched to see there was an agenda at play and they wanted Japan to lash out and retaliate. Which would give the US MIC (Prescott Bush, the Dulles bros, the whole lot of 'em!) justification to enter the war. The goal was to let Russia and Germany turn each other into dust and then swoop in and restore order (in Germany and Japan's cases, to never leave and let them be sovereign again) and dominate. Since the USA had its industrial base still in tact and churning out B-52s daily. Was a win-win for the PTB who ruled then. Taken out two enemies (of British empire) in Germany (of course, they were quite happy to do business with Nazi Germany in the 1930s) and Russia, and becoming the new hegemon, empire in the wake of Great Britain's ailing empire. We should never have become an empire. After the fall of the USSR in the early 90's there was a real chance for peace, but the PTB had other plans for us (which I pointed out, Gulf war 1, Yugoslavia, Serbia, Gulf war 2.. I don't half ass things, I put the effort into making my point. It isn't my problem if someone has ADD or whatever and they can't read more than a short paragraph before their brain locks up and throws a tantrum.)

So, whether you like it or not, some people appreciate Tulsi and for what she stands for. It is ugly and unnecessary to slander people here for that. We are supposed to be kind to one another, friendly. Not make us out to be kooks or otherwise! I have nothing further to add. I don't think I'll contribute here any longer. I'll still continue to lurk and also suggest the site to others who express interest in Kratom.

All parties involved please keep it civil is all! We are all here on this forum for the same basic reasons.... In-fighting is not good for the community nor the cause!! There are all sorts of views and opinions on every subject possible obviously, yet we do not censor anything here really and can only continue to operate that way if we can police ourselves and treat one another with respect at very least. Other than that, enjoy your evenings and Kratom on!!

All is well! lol Man, what a ride down the ol' rabbit hole and a course through the mad hatter's labyrinthine, maniacal mind. Actually, feels like we were being trolled. My bad for falling into the trap laid. Cody needs to play nice with his fellow Kratomites. Many are my elders here, I'm sure (I'm 40, not to make anyone feel old or call out their age! heh) and many are perhaps adolescents and early 20's.

Those with children, which age range was more challenging, mid-late adolescent or early-mid twenties?

Brave777, I should have taken your advice long ago! lol And what you said, does apply in some cases (prior exp. with substances, the lifestyle and specifically personality involved, maybe they struggle with personality disorders or other mental illness). I should be a little more gentle myself. Sorry to add any negativity. Perhaps our friend is triggered by political topics, (or successful women? nah, isn't that..haha) Myself, I do tend to get passionate where politics (esp geo-politics) are concerned. Had a wonderful night, met a beautiful woman (a few actually ;) Got out of the house for a while. Icy outside. Getting some documentaries lined up to watch tn. Want to see Master Z: The Ip Man Story and also a documentary on Layne Staley (of Alice In Chains, one of my fav singers).

Here's a headline:

"Tulsi Gabbard should resign from Congress"
https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/pol ... 741217001/

So we all know Tulsi is running an ill-fated campaign for President, is currently polling at <1%, and hasn't qualified for a democratic debate in months. Well, apparently coming in last and sucking at campaigning is getting in the way of her congressional duties - she's missed an overwhelming 85% of House votes. She also embarrassingly voted "present" for the House impeachment articles of Trump...the only lawmaker to do so. She couldn't "in good conscience" vote yes or no. Even Republicans have shown more spine. Surely Hawaii deserves better.

At least we already know she won't be in Congress this time next year, she mercifully has already claimed not to be seeking re-election...it's unlikely she would have won anyway. If anything, her endorsement of the legalization of drugs is going to set back the legalization movement significantly. All that's left now is to wait for her inevitable announcement suspending her campaign, although it wouldn't be a surprise if she stayed in til the end just to steal a vote or two from a legitimate presidential contender.

Implying Tulsi Gabbard is a "Russian" agent by saying you heard she was is basically like how some far right people in the media called Obama a Muslim. Did you believe that? Sounds ridiculous right? Both have no evidence whatsoever!

Tulsi Gabbard is an active sitting current member of Congress. She also is still serving in our nations Military with the rank of Major I believe. In November, she had to stop her President Campaign for two weeks to go due a training exercise for the Military, which again she is an active member of. Calling her a "Russian agent" is essentially implying she is a traitor. Are you seriously implying Gabbard, a congresswomen and current member of the military and running for President, is a "Russian" asset? Don't you think the Military would have, you know, had her arrested for Treason by now? That is what you are essentially implying (not putting words in your mouth, but saying you hear she is a Russian agent would make her a traitor if true). Imagine serving Congress, the military, and running for President, and being called a Russian Agent trying to interfere with the interests of the United States?

Meeting with the Syria President? Engaging in dialogue is worse than dropping bombs on a country? Just because the US says Assaud committed war crimes against his people, you believe that at face value? Remember how the US intelligence lied to the country to justify invading Iraq? Note, I do not know weather or not the President of Syria committed the crimes he is alleged of doing, but I keep an open mind and don't blindly believe whatever the media or our government says. Furthermore, Obama, Bush and other Past and the current President meet with the leaders of Saudi Arabia, which beheads women and engages in supplying terrorists groups with weapons (weapons they buy from the US), and Saudi Arabia is currently in a war in Yemen in which they are basically committing genocide on Yemin. "Parties to the conflict have exacerbated what the UN has called the world’s largest humanitarian catastrophe, including by unlawfully impeding delivery of desperately needed humanitarian aid." Source https://www.hrw.org/world-report/2019/c ... ters/yemen Note how the US is Helping Saudi Arabia by backing them in their war against Yemen. So I ask you: Did President Obama meet with war criminals in his visits to Saudi Arabia? You are okay with the US supplying aid to help Saudi Arabia kill innocent men, women, and children? How about US Presidents meeting with dictators like the President of China? Have you been following the Hong Kong protests? Or how China treats people of Muslim citizens? Read this, https://time.com/5738401/xinjiang-uighu ... na-cables/ So was Obama when he meeting with with dictators and war criminals okay? Are these things the US should be allowing/helping/aiding? Was Obama a "puppet" to China or Saudi Arabia (or Clinton, who as Sec of State signed massive weapons deals to give weapons to Saudi Arabia, which our own government has admitted Saudi Arabia provides terrorists groups with weapons and funding)?

Meanwhile, if Gabbard were a "Russian" agent as you said you hear she is, why is she still serving in our military, our Congress, and still running for President? The United States Intelligence agencies hears and knows a lot more than us civilians. Furthermore, if there were ANY, ANY, shred of evidence she was indeed working to help a foreign government, why is our Government doing absolutely nothing about it? Is there any investigations on going about her being linked to helping Russia or any foreign government? The answer is no. Innocent until proven guilty is a fundamental aspect of our democracy, yet media outlets (which then turn to individuals who read said outlets) are implying Gabbard is a Russian Agent/Asset.
https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfr ... g-paranoid From the linked article: "Vermont senator Bernie Sanders and South Bend’s mayor, Pete Buttigieg, suggested that Clinton ought to have had some evidence before implying something so outrageous about a Democratic elected official." Hearing Gabbard is a Russian agent is akin to hearing Obama is a Muslim from right wing republicans (a laughable claim, for both!)

Now, Tulsi Gabbard was actually a very high ranking member of the DNC in 2016. She was the vice-chairman behind wasserman schultz (who was then head of the DNC). So, Gabbard, just 4 years ago, was a rising star in the Democratic party, but yet now she's a Russian agent lol. She was basically second in charge of the DNC overseeing the 2016 democratic primary. She stepped down to endorse Sanders, because the DNC is supposed to be neutral. So she did the right thing (which hurt her political career) by stepping down. Guess what happened to the head of the DNC? Schultz resigned as head chairman of the DNC after evidence proved and revealed she meddled in the democratic primary to ensure Clinton became the nominee. The democrats interfered and meddled in their own election. "But it was typical Clinton. Paranoia about Russian influence has been ubiquitous among the Clinton set since 2016, in part because it helps to explain how the loss to Donald Trump wasn’t really Clinton’s fault. Liberals in the media like Rachel Maddow openly admit to having an obsession with Russia, and end up seeing the hands of Vladimir Putin on everything. Clinton herself has had trouble coming to terms with her loss. Even though accounts from inside the campaign confirm that Clinton barely knew why she was running for president, couldn’t craft any kind of message, and made laughably overconfident decisions about where to campaign, her campaign memoir was less a mea culpa than a j’accuse. It pointed fingers at Sanders and James Comey, and ended up sounding a lot like the Onion’s parody title: We All Made Mistakes But You Made Most Of Them." https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfr ... g-paranoid

But yet the Democrats, the government, and our own military have not charged Gabbard with anything, they have not suggested any of these claims are true in the slightest, and they continue to allow Gabbard to serve in Congress, in the Military, and runs for the highest position in the world. Gabbard is also suing Clinton for making these baseless claims because of how such claims hurt her career and how she is viewed. It was Hilary Clinton who started this whole nonsense of implying Gabbard was working on behalf of the Russians or being helped by the Russians. Unlikely to succeed, the lawsuit is important because Clinton implying she is a Russian agent is not like you or even the media or regular citizens calling Gabbard that. Clinton had access to the highest levels of top secret information just a few years ago. For a person of such power, making such baseless claims can ruin a persons career and influence how that person is viewed. Now, even the media and Clinton have claimed Gabbard is a Russian asset, you will notice no official investigation or crime has be charged against her, as these claims of "Russian Agent" are complete and utterly false.
Here is Gabbard explaining why she is suing Clinton https://twitter.com/TulsiGabbard/status ... 7446150144

Here's is a Fox News video on the situation (note I hate Fox News, but I watch all and read all sides, independent news and mainstream news, to get a full view.). Gabbard answers these questions in this video. This video is on 3 minutes long, and she personally explains why calling her a Russian agent is basically calling her a traitor. Appearing on Fox news should not mean anything negative about Gabbard. After all, Bernie Sanders did a Town Hall on Fox News (which got many Republicans to agree with some of his views). And a President represents everybody, no matter the party, so those running for President SHOULD appear on all news stations.
https://twitter.com/TulsiGabbard/status ... 92/video/1

You may not like Gabbard, as a person, as a politician, or for whatever reason. And that is fine. But implying she is a Traitor is in my opinion disrespectful to anyone who serves our country. My father was in the Navy and served in Vietnam. I am a Independent. I hate Trump, and I hated Clinton. I hated the way the democrats screwed Sanders over in 2016 and how their Supersaturate system makes their primary very very unfair (not to mention closed primaries which Independents can not vote for Democrat nominees). I am a support of Sanders, Yang, and Gabbard. I don't support parties, I support individuals. After all, basing voting decisions on parties is how we have gotten a us-vs-them divide that has gridlocked the government and makes it seem like we're not all on the same side (in the end,we're all Americans, all equal despite our views or differences).

This is not a bash or directly in a personal manner, so please I hope it does not come across lie that. I normally stay away from politics on this sub, but wanted to just add my thoughts here. If you or anyone does not like Tulsi Gabbard, no big deal, but as far as the Russian Agent false claim, I hope you at least hear what Gabbard has to say (in general, and on this whole Russian nonsense). And try and put yourself in Gabbard's position: A congresswomen and active military veteran and Presidential candidate who is being called a Traitor (which claiming she is working as a Russian agent implies). Is that fair to her? Is that an American thing to do, to make such claims against our elected officials and service members?

Just my thoughts, and I know this was a long post. I tried to make it clear and separate issues by paragraphs so its not a wall of text. And hopefully I added some context to this debate.

Peace :D
