Help with 000 capsules

Where can i find the best quality and most potent size 000 capsules. They have 1 gram of Kratom per capsule. I don’t want to make my own so please don’t suggest that. Please recommend a few places to purchase 000 and also 00 regular capsules. I want best quality and variety if possible. Thanks

Welcome, Sunnygal86! I'm sorry I don't have good news for you: I know of -no one- selling 000 caps, and right now it's kind of difficult just finding regular 00 caps.

However, Seven Breezes does offer capsules the last I looked, and has consistently good reviews on the quality of his kratom, so I'd start there. The owner hangs around here -- username Azrael -- and he's got a lot of good info on his latest post here, including contact information. Check with him and see what size his caps are if you're interested.

I wish I could offer you more vendors from which to choose, but he's the only one I personally know of selling caps right now, outside of headshop vendors. I hope this helps for now, and that others will be along to correct my ignorance shortly.

That’s the problem I ran into also. I could not find filled capsules anywhere outside the local headshops.

I ended up just leaning to burn in Orange juice and have found it’s not to bad.

I did just break down and buy a capsule making machine and 00 capsules because I travel a lot between 2 states and am gone a lot and would think carrying many different loose powders would be a hassle for me.

I just received the capsule maker in the mail yesterday so fingers crossed I didn’t just waste $60 on something I could of used to buy more Kratom.

It's a pain in the ass, sure, but it does the job, there's not a lot of waste if you do it right, and it's not hard to use. I've thought about getting one of the 100 cap machines off Amazon -- they're roughly $30 or so -- but honestly I just don't use capsules that much right now, so I haven't.

So I have to ask -- which machine did you get, Lulu? I definitely want to know -- if it works out well for you I might be buying one too.

I bought this one. It was only $23.99 plus I also bought
2 - 1000 bags of gelatin caps. Total over kill but I’m the type of person to get them stuck to my fingers. LOL
I’m going to give it a try here in a little bit. I’ll let you know if it worked or if I committed massive mayhem.

I saw a couple capsule fillers with reviews that said the plates were fine, but that the tamper did more hole-poking in the powder than actual tamping because the pegs on it are too skinny.

There Is a * Vendor List * pinned under General Discussions, many show Code ="C" which means they sell Caps. Treasure House comes to mind. There are many more. Visit each website .. changes month to month.

Either people just ignore the Vendor List, or they don't wanna READ.. and take time to learn how to find things. Same problem on Reddit.. nobody wants to do their own research, READ the Rules, or read the 101.. every n00b posts a "New Question" on the board hoping everyone will Stop and type out answers when it's the same question and the same problem asked for the millionth' time. Is that a real word, millionth ?

Me neither, Whiffy, but I got a family member who insists on caps and only caps, her poor mate has the chore of making 'em. He got one of those little peg-board cap fillers for standard 00 caps.

Update, it appears Treasure House' Caps page on their website is... blank. Supply & Demand issue probably. Another good vendor who USED to sell Caps.. Acadica.. same thing, dropped 'em... I see Caps as being like Sample Packs - can't justify selling the product for # time and hassle. Krabot is another vendor who used to sell Caps.. LI Herbals still has em.

So right now I'd agree try Seven Breezes. Before he figures out the time & expense lol Last one, google Grey Street Herbals. All I know is they specialize in caps, last yr on reddit he was "capping" and re-selling RVA leaf lol

Not sure I agree that the tamper being too skinny only does hole-poking versus tamping...it is true it's thinner than the capsule but it does tamp it down quite a bit. Once you get the hang of it very little will spill out after you use the tamper (albeit there is some residue but I assume that will happen regardless). My biggest complaint with these type of cap filling machines is the repeated tamping required to maximize the kratom in the capsule. For me it takes generally 4 times...I've now have over 1000 caps under my belt and haven't figured out a way to reduce the # of times I need to tamp it down.

Nah, I think I wasn't clear -- the tamper pegs are -always- skinnier than the capsule, but one or two specific capsule makers I was looking at on Amazon recently, the reviews said the pegs were more like pins and didn't do much in the way of tamping.

My own tamper is great. I have the size 00 The Capsule Machine and the pegs on the tamper are quite wide -- any wider and they'd pull the capsule up with them -- but I still have to tamp 3 or 4 times, just like you. (I had a similar 00 CapMQuik many years ago and didn't like it much for other reasons, but the tamper pegs were fine on that one as well. IIRC, one of the reasons I didn't like it was because I had to buy the tamper separately.)

Skill and years of practice keep down the amount of waste, but accidents happen. I just make sure to do it over paper or foil every time so that whatever's left when I'm done -- including knocking the leftover bits off the capsuler -- I can just shake back into the bag.

My primary issue with the capsuler I have is that you have to manually insert capsule tops and bottoms into each hole -- that's 48 fiddly little motions for every 24 caps that my hands don't do well anymore -- and the newer ones like LuLu got let you shake the capsule halves into place, plus with these you can do 100 at a time and I'm stuck with a limit of 24. It takes me 15-20 minutes per 24 caps, and timewise that's 75% capsule placement, 25% filling. Irritating, even if effective.

I just read in another post that you're in China -- now I get why you wanted to leave -nothing- up to chance with the sleep situation, heh. Be well, safe travels!

Okay Whiffy, thanks for the clarification...I also have the shake to seed caps (100 count) but that only gets about 75% - 85% of them into place so you still hand place (or fix) some.

And yes in China for a couple weeks (ugh). On the sleep front, I've been doing pretty good and actually took a day or 2 off from the Ambien but still used the Kratom (Red) to help along with Melatonin. I think I'll do another trip next month and then should slow down at work for a bit so then I'll try to cut the Ambien cord.

I only rarely use caps, mostly when traveling, but I have used OK's Green Hulu caps and was quite satisfied.

I cap, a lot. I made 10 100ct 00 batches of capsules today. The last few batches it took me right around 8 minutes to make a batch. From empty trays, holders to joined caps in a bag 8minutes 5 seconds. I was thinking of putting together a tutorial or perhaps making a video showing the technique I use. Perhaps there are a few who would find it useful and would help make your lives a little easier.

Thanks for looking! But all I saw on that site were 00 caps, minimum order $150 for a kilo, though that's probably a steal for someone who uses caps regularly and doesn't want to cap their own:

You're right, it looks like they just sell 000 caps empty, 500 for 20.00, I get 00 size, 2000 for 20.00 , I'm glad I don't get them from here...

Agreed -- for empty caps you're -much- better elsewhere. I've seen great deals on eBay, but even Amazon has bulk capsule packs at fairly reasonable prices.
