An hour ago I got an email about an order I placed last week. It was for 125g of Vampire, Phatcracker and Unicorn and the email stated I never paid and it would be marked as canceled. Now, I remember ordering them but didn't remember paying an invoice, and a couple days later looked and never received an invoice for it. So today I looked and they had none of the three I orderred but added a few other samples to my cart. After checking out I got an email regarding the first order and when I explained I would have gladly paid if I received an invoice for the order- the nice woman said she still had enough Vampire, Phatcracker and Unicorn to fulfill my order! So I had her send the invoice, paid it and had her cancel the order made this morning.

Looking back I really should've emailed for the invoice the day after ordering BUT to me this is good customer service. AND I am getting more Phatcracker and will be able to try Vampire (been wanting to for some time) along with Unicorn.

I have to say they have a loyal customer in me:)

Phatcracker is a customer blend (goes by the name Phatcracker on reddit) who made it. I "THINK" they mixed Mystic Unicorn and Mystic Peridot but I could be wrong about that. I think that's what a thread on Reddit /kratomm stated.

I can't begin to say what colors it is, I'm not that experienced with Kratom yet. I would think from the energy it has white in it, it's my favorite out of the 5 types of Kratom I've tried (2 kraken strains, 3 mystic- Pixie, Phatcracker and Red Papua)

I'm really looking forward to the Vampire.

It couldn't hurt to ask. All I know is they said they ran out of stock of Vampire and Phatcracker (and unicorn, lol) "but" had enough to fulfill my order of 125g of V&P, only 25g of Unicorn.

Thank you for your opinion on Vampirie- it seems a LOT of people's favorites. So does Phatcracker and i know why.

phatcracker is a blend of the Unicorn and Amethyst. I'm not sure of the colors but it is a good daytime blend with some energy and mood boost but not jittery at all for me.

I just looked at my old bags that I had written the veins on. Unicorn is Green and White and the Amethyst is Green and Red.

Just contacted Mystic island, they said there re stocking reds this weekend and greens the following. I need to get more green malay super green and diamond or phatcracker. Anyone try there green bali emerald, kama sumatra or gandalf? Or any of the strains they have in stock now? I've tried there yellow kapuas which was good at first but now its very weak, green papuas ok, Im waiting for there vampire and red maeng da as well.

For me Gandalf would be described as a pure energy strain, very good if you have some physical work to take care of. Emerald is what I would consider a mid spec green, little bit of an energy boost and a great mood boost. Perfect for late afternoon, in fact I'm just about to take some now. Hope this helps.

I -just- got some Green Bali from Mystic but haven't tried it yet, nor the Emerald.

Gandalf is a great get going in the morning strain, I like it. It's not THE most energizing -- I'd say the energy level for me is on par with Phatcracker -- but not at all weak. It's plenty motivating and a solid, reliable strain, probably a green/white blend. Decent pain relief, though not as long legged as I sometimes need (3-4 hours, maybe?) so keep that in mind if you're dosing for pain.

I just tried a sample of their Kama Sumatra last weekend and for me it was relaxing, a good afternoon/evening burn with decent pain relief. Apparently it's their three Sumatra strains blended -- green, white, red -- though I have no idea in what proportion. The Mystic site doesn't actually describe the blend at all; I got that bit of info off an old Reddit thread. But I like it and will probably get more.

I honestly don't know how to answer that question, because to me the primary effect of MI Green Malay is a pronounced mood lift with energy, and Kama Sumatra is just more relaxing, a mellow sense of well-being without specific mood lift. So it's hard to say which is stronger because they're -both- equally strong, but in different ways.

Ditto Gandalf and Phatcracker: they're very similar to me, but if I had to pick which is "stronger" I'd probably say Phatcracker because of the mood lift and mental clarity as well as the energy. Yet they're almost too similar to me to make that distinction; it actually feels nitpicky to do so. Sometimes I feel like one, sometimes I feel like the other, but they're both just right when I'm in the mood for it.

Sorry if that's not helpful. Fortunately the thing about MI is the $3 25g samples, so you can afford to try them both. Gandalf and Phatcracker are pretty much always in stock, and Kama Sumatra seems to be in stock as well right now, so you're probably safe trying samples of those before buying larger sizes.

I just made a blend of 1/2 MI Vampire and 1/2 RVA Red Ketapang from last year and I'm feeling pretty good though.

Oooh, that Vampire and Red Ket mix sounds good. I burned some Vampire by itself about 4-5 hours ago and I'm still up, so maybe more of that Kama Sumatra was what I needed instead. (I don't know what the deal is with me and reds, but there it is.)

Ok thanks I think I'll try the gandalf or kama sumatra. I've been blending vampire and diamond or phatcracker which has been the perfect combo. Somehow the diamond seems to make any reds effects much stronger. Herbal rva was a complete bust lol, the only thing that was decent was there red stem and vein. Red asia gold bali and green elephant was bunk. The green elephant gave me really intense wobbles which makes me thinks it might have some potential but the good effects weren't really there, just wobbles.

WeedWitch, do you have a scale and are you using it? The effects you describe can come just as easily from not using a scale as they can from different strains, especially when you get wobbles instead of the increased effects you were looking for.

Kratom powders are ground in different grinders and have different densities, so just in case you're still measuring with spoons I'd strongly recommend a scale. Less than $10 on Amazon will get you a great one (this is mine) and once you've tried it you'll never go back.

As far as reds go I'm the same way; blending them with something else makes reds more strongly red. But I usually just need a pinch -- a quarter or less of the amount of red I'm using -- to make that happen, so the kind of white or green doesn't matter. For me, Gandalf and Kama Sumatra were completely different -- Gandalf behaves like a white and Kama Sumatra like a slow green -- so keep that in mind.

Yes I always use a scale, I dont get why someone would ever not. Mines starting to get a little old so I orderes the same one you linked, thanks. I think when they stock up on reds since I always use the split kilo ill get red maeng da, possibly bentaungie, gandalf or kama sumatra. Its such a shame I can't get green malay or super green but the split kilos such a good deal.

Hmmm, interesting. I tried the cart a few different ways when I was near $200, and ended up deliberately going over because that's when the shipping fell off. This was two or so weeks ago, pretty recent.

But that's just my experience. I haven't asked MI, so I don't know what the current cutoff for free shipping is.

i was ordering in kilos, 3 kilos for 183 with the 4way code that brought it to 174. ive noticed when i buy kilos the shipping is free for some reason.

Huh, maybe that's it. I had split kilos as well as several smaller bags in my cart, and somewhere along the line I remembered to enter the 4WAY code as well, so that might have had something to do with it. Thanks!
