TFH Baik Hutan MD Review

There's been quite a few reviews of the latest TFH strains, but I haven't seen one for Baik Hutan MD yet, so here yah go.

I bought 2 other strains from TFH at the same time, Get 'er Done Green & Top Shelf Green MD. I really like strains that give the body that "I want to do a project today" feeling, kinda like the Energizer Bunny. So I worked my way through them first, then tried the Baik, a red strain. I got nothin'. So I cycled through them again & the Baik gave me... nothin'. So I cycled through some other strains 5 or 6 times & the Baik just never came out. Then today arrived. I took my 1st dose of the day & in 5 minutes I felt it winding up. It was going to be a couch potato event for sure. It just kept getting stronger & stronger until I couldn't read anymore. That was great because I'm struggling with a sprained ankle & its constant throbbing is making sleep difficult. That lasted for about 3 hours. I wanted to experiment a little & though I usually wait 6 hours between doses, this time I took another 2g at the 3 hour mark when it was starting to wind down & dang... it started all over again! What lesson did I learn? Don't take greens before this strain on the same day.

The Baik is noticeably a red. I don't know if it's a blend or not, but you can see the brownish-red color mixed in with a green, I believe.

Speed of onset - fast, like 5 minutes. That's unusual.

Duration - about 3-4 hours; 9/10

Speed- this is a slow strain amenable to drifting off in warm clouds; 10/10. It won't give you energy but it will make you happy

Analgesia - 10/10

Anxiety relief - I don't have anxiety, so I can't answer that

Overall rating - as one of the top 4 reds I've had, it deserves a 10, but don't take green strains on the same day.

That's so weird! Baik Hutan is my energetic go-to when my lunch wears off and I can dose again. I really love that one. It has a certain...complexity that i love in my leaf. That one is not like the others.

I just tried the Baik last night… I concur with the 10/10 for pain relief… it’s smooooth and lovely!

I wouldn't be concerned about opening a bag. Kratom doesn't degrade like some things. I have 5 year old kratom that's just as good as it was 5 years ago. I was so impressed with this strain that I ordered another kilo after I wrote the review. I've found it very difficult to come across strong reds.

Overall rating - as one of the top 4 reds I've had, it deserves a 10, but don't take green strains on the same day.

Thanks for this. Both times I've tried it, it has been after or with greens. I'm going to try it as first dose of the day by itself!

I actually really enjoy the Baik MD blended with a geeen 2:1 so I would do what works for you. Everyone is different.

This is an energetic one for me. I loved it so much I ordered some yellows and red from TFH thinking that if I keep my doses small they will all be energetic. Well not so much, top shelf rmd and blonde Borneo put me into a nod even at a small serving (not my cup of tea) so I just received some greens and whites(yesterday) and plan on doing some mixing to hopefully make the perfect burn.

Wow their stuff is seriously potent (even the testers which I just finished trying them all). I’m impressed with the need for much less of a serving size and they all gave me exactly what I was looking for. Now I’m deciding what to place as my first 0rder with them.

During the event I almost closed my eyes to pick to be honest and nothing has disappointed yet. Either I am lucky, his stuff is that good or my body just is set up for the stuff. Maybe all 3?

Yes, TFH leaf is indeed that good! I have a load of TFH leaf and I have yet to be disappointed.
