Household help - Goo Gone and Mr Clean Magic Erasers, recommend!

Goo Gone easily removes adhesive residue or any type of sticky problem. I had put some vinyl stickers on my SUV's rear window and the brutal Hawaiian sun baked the stickers onto the glass. When it was time to remove them, I was worried, but Goo Gone got them off in a jiffy, and cleanly. Didn't have to use a paint scraper, and a hard wipe with a dry towel left no gooey mess from the product. The texture is a thin gel, so there's less smearing and dripping messiness. I love it cause I get neurotic about sticky residue, can't stand the stuff, makes it clean and smooth. Works much better than WD-40, no smell.

I also bought a used laptop and there were garish stickers on the outside top, thought it was gonna be a nightmare trying to get them off, but after I pulled off the big stickers, it was only a minute to get off the glue with some Goo Gone and water. I type this to you from said laptop.

We just moved into a brand new house with matte white paint everywhere... and while we don't have little kids running around everywhere with markers, we do have barfing pets, scuff marks from things that shouldn't scuff but the movers found a way to bang our boxes and furniture to make scuffs, the big and little things life throws at ya and your walls and floors... Mr Clean Magic Eraser works on almost everything that makes a mark. It's like a cross between a sponge and foam, a squishy small brick, and it takes marks away. Sometimes it helps with a splash of water. It lasts for a long time. It's been available for several years but only now being marketed heavily. Def something you gotta try.

2 great products. In my experience goo gone leaves a greasy residue, because of this I prefer 99% Iso alcohol.

huh. i like goo gone cause it doesn't leave a greasy residue if you wipe wiht a dry towel after, or a little water. Also, alcohol is damaging to a lot of surfaces while goo gone isn't.
