YLYL - Philly Kratom - Strain Reviews
For my first foray back into kratom (primarily for migraines) I went with YLYL. I'm terrible at writing reviews, but here you go.
I have to note that individually, I did not see much benefit from any strain individually, which I tested out thoroughly, and as such I'll be reviewing my combinations.
Red Riau/Red Suede - far and away my favorite combination. Within 30 minutes of dosing when having lingering head pain (using blate papes and drinking a ton of water) I noticed an almost complete disappearance of symptoms. If I felt a full blown migraine coming on, I would immediately dose, and though for now it hasn't completely killed any migraine outright it has always lessened the severity and duration of each. Along with that, if you go back in my history you can see my definition of euphoria being pain free, so I would say that there is a certain level of that with this combination.
Red MD - I did not notice any benefit individually or with any combination of this strain, so I'll just leave that there.
Beckey's Blend/Red Suede or Red Riau - This has been an amazing blend for me in the mornings. I will often find myself with the inklings/beginnings of a headache and gosh forbid migraine in the morning, and this blend will 9/10 erase that within the 30 minutes started above. In addition to that, it gives me a nice boost of energy in the mornings, which as a mom of a young child, you know helps like all get out.
I honestly feel like I've found a true gem, and I can only thank this community for the recommendation. If you suffer from migraines, and find that things aren't working out for you, kratom might be an answer. Another disclaimer though, I previously used kratom for migraines several years ago with great success, but like with all migraine treatments, it did stop working for awhile, hence my break and now I'm back.
Thank you all and have a wonderful day!

Philly has some good stuff. I personally like the green malay it’s so very euphoric. So is the yellow tang jung, but it’s a little heavier than the Malay for me.

I like their Bones. They have decent extracts/enhanced strains too.

The green kali has been holding mid and strong. I'm 3.5 hours in to the tea all of a sudden i feel its hitting hard again. Might be situational def a good long burn.

That red suede is nice. Haven’t tried the other reds reviewed here. Philly greens don’t really hit well for me, unfortunately. I am a person who gets migraines. I’ll have to try this red/red combination you mentioned. Thanks for the reviews!

Maybe try 33% less and make sure your well hydrated. Usually if I'm not drinking enough water greens can cause migraines. Kratom users should probably be consuming the recommended amount of water a day for your weight, if not more to help process in the liver and organs. It can dehydrate you easy.Trippin_Buddha wrote: ↑Sat Jun 04, 2022 11:41 pm That red suede is nice. Haven’t tried the other reds reviewed here. YLYL has been my shocker vendor this year. I’ve known about them for a while now and one day I just said frigg it and ordered all their greens. The current green pure is awesome, great mid-mid upper get shizzle done type of vibe. Cobain and riau surprised me too, have yet to try the JK or Kali yet! Also bagged some of their sosa stash which I’ve yet to try

Those are my exact favorite two from ylyl. Those work so well for me. It's nice to see someone else who likes my favorite two as well. I have wanted to try them for quite some time, and I'm listing after the strains you mentioned but in particular, the Red Road. I've heard good things and I think it can help my pain!
