Philly/YLYL 2019 Green Horn, Red Bone F20, Yellow Maeng Da (Sosa)

first time ordering from YourLeafYourLife. I ordered some of the discount strains which are from 2019, from the same supplier that Sosa used, purportedly string dried. placed order Sunday, ordering process was smooth on their website. I received tracking later that day. it shipped monday and arrived very quickly, on wednesday. it came in sealed half kilo bags, and included a good number of new silver kratom ziploc bags. they also put in a bingo card and a small pack of galaxy goo, which made me laugh. slime toys are making a comeback!

I got 3 half kilos: green horn, red bone f20, and yellow maeng da. it was priced remarkably well, at $30 each.

green horn: this blew me away. it's very good, very potent. it's midspec, and has both relaxing and stimulating qualities. it feels pretty heavy, physically it's very enjoyable, but it has some mental stimulation. it's pretty damn euphoric, a very pleasant mood lift and sense of well being. very long legs, peak lasted about 3-4 hours, followed by a 2 hour afterglow.
overall, 9/10. I'm tempted to give this a 10, but I want to run it a couple more times to be sure.

yellow maeng da: this was Sosa's yellow MD, but Philly sold it as yellow Vietnam, according to the YLYL site. the first run, I didn't get anything out of it. I'm not going to rate it yet because I want to try it again. yellows usually never work for me, but I saw a bunch of old reviews with it and took a chance. going to run it first thing in the morning.

red bone f20; similar to the green horn in quality. it's green in color, a potent, heavy, sedating red. it's firmly on the slow side of the spectrum, not a daytime red at all. it's a knockout strain, perfect for night time, very relaxing. had me struggling to keep my eyes open, but in a thoroughly enjoyable way. also a 9/10, but I may end up changing it to a 10 after some more testing.

overall, extremely satisfied with this purchase. I had been struggling to find good strains lately, just wasn't picking the right ones, but this was well worth the money. vendor was very prompt, looking forward to trying Philly's regular leaf soon

ran the yellow MD again this morning, I'd give it a 5/10 now. it's just average. I probably couldn't feel it yesterday because I had taken the green horn earlier that day.

I've really been wanting to try that Green Horn but alas, I don't have space for a full key nor the funds. I've heard so many good things about it too! I wasn't around for the SOSA says but I see them being hailed all the time.

a half key is going for $30+plus shipping, you don't have to buy a whole one. I'm not sure how much stock they have left, but if the green horn is still around in June I'll definitely get it again.

The red bone is now 1000g only for $60... the 500g is out of stock it says. i just purchased the green horn and white Borneo as there was not much left of the white Borneo, although wanted to try a red, I could not decide between red bali or MD and would've preferred to buy less than 500g of each so left it at that. Excited to try it because I started kratom in 2020 and never had the good older batches that I'm aware of. I started off with the wrong vendors of course. And shoot, I wanted to try the taffy, honey sticks or flavored kratom and forgot to look for it, and I forgot to ask for a free sample both times I ordered. Apparently if your order is over $30 you have to select one and add it to your cart and I didn't realize that!

yeah it appears they are continually adding/re-adding discount strains. they said to check back every Saturday. I'm hoping they have a ton of stock, I will certainly buy some more if it's still there next month. I'd like to know how the green hulu is.

Oh boy, now I want the red MD since I like the wakeful ones but no kratom helps me sleep at night but sedation always hits me the next morning from the day before. I just learned about the samples and I know it's only for their regular product. It will be interesting to compare their super green which is so fresh and a lovely color and very vibrant with the 2019 green horn. I'm curious if anyone tried the white Borneo, a recent thread was just resurrected about SOSA and some whites are lauded but not that one. I still don't understand the bones.

kratom didn't help me sleep at first, it just kept me up, but now it's pretty much a necessity for sleeping. if you have nightmares, it seems to help quite a bit.
