Sosa Speciosa (Red Leaf)

Post by SimonBcv »

Okay serious question here, has ANYONE tried any red kratom from any of the vendors with the same effect they got from Sosa Speciosa Red kratom (which is no longer in business)? Asking because I'm down to couple of 250G bags and no other kratom that I tried matches it's effects, I tried TFH, Mystic Island, Philly Kratom, Kratom Distro, Rhino Remedies, none of them come close to the effects of Sosa Speciosa Red so if anyone has experienced same effects with different vendor, or know of a supplier that re-sells same red he used to sell, please let me know, thank you.

Fused Flora will always be a favorite with me, Shaun's always a great friend and his leaf is at the top of the hill.

LoneStar MitraSource run by Chris W puts out a strong product that unfortunately doesn't always work for me, but when it hits, it hits. I'm listing him here because almost all the people whose recommendations hit for me love LSMS. I kinda am annoyed cause they get quality burns and for me it's rolling the dice, but I suggest you try. He had a raffle that I won, and some of the batches were spot on, particularly (this was years ago when he first started) a white blended with a red to make a chilling pink where I felt like the boogieman stepped into my body from behind and I had the relaxing tingles for quite awhile.

Texas Family Harvest has tons of hits if you are a member, one of the top producers (they collect data, crunch numbers, and experiment with amazing quality control) and genuinely caring. There is an epic thread on here by gumbyke1 (Chris O's name on DoubleM, owner of TFH) which takes you down the rabbit hole of the kratom industry... not sure if it ever got stickied, maybe ask e_poision if he can dig it up for you, it will change your view on some ideas about the industry).

Currently, I suggest Down To Earth, DTE has excellent kratom, good people behind it, very very high quality kratom, you must give them a try.

Sorry if I missed anyone, I have not been on this board for awhile, jus chillin with my stash, gonna hit some of my Rhino Remedies when I find it, I have a lot, it's buried somewhere in my closet in some bins I can't find at the moment. First thing am gonna hit is Great White, man a few New Year's Eve back, several years ago, in fact, we were in another area back then, I had a fantastic celebration with my family and my dog and two cats who have all passed away (just the animals, parents still here, lol). We all stayed up and enjoyed the fireworks, none shot by us, it was prohibited by our condos, but fireworks are super cultural in Hawaii due to the Chinese influence, and all the nearby neighborhoods were shooting off illegal rockets, tons of red paper crackers, scaring away the evil spirits for a fortuitous New Year.

The house I grew up in would always have neighbors who popped so much that there was zero visibility, no one could drive down the street the smoke was that thick. I also have fond memories of one NYE at my Uncle's house on the Big Island (I'm from Oahu where rockets are illegal) where all fireworks are legal, my cousins and I exploded tons of crazy incendiaries, combining them into huge bombs, lol. We also got to see a total solar eclipse on another trip there. Ok, so getting back to Rhino Remedies, Ryan has fantastic whites and reds. I have a tendency toward yellows and love greens, but his selections have so many strains you should probably ask for a suggestion. I don't know about now, but he had pallets being delivered to his house back then, and mad crazy deals.

Aloha guys, and sorry if I missed any vendors.

Oh yeah, RVA, gotta rep him, he just doesn't get the exposure on this board, but his biz is already so solid. Love JFish, his product is boooommmmb! If one batch doesn't hit, the next will, and he is so cool with customer service.

Even as a long time friend of Sosa. I don’t think many people in the industry(I’ve been importing and finding suppliers for 14 years)know who his suppliers were. I even did direct business with him for many years and he’d never say. It’ll be a mystery til the end of time unfortunately! 😝
