Red Malay-9/10. This is one of the most consistently beautiful burns there is. It is great on its own, but if you mix it with other reds it truly brings out the best of the others while adding its own little flair to the mix. Potency is always great, its a heavy red that is not fermented (just the way I like them). I have gone through multiple bags and I always keep a bag in my stock for when I need a good night time mood lift. This one provides a little bit of that body numbness, great pain relief, moodlift like crazy, and very sedating. One of my absolute favorite night time varieties.
Red Indo-8.5/10. This one has recently been my jam. Benni sent me a sample of it and I immediately ordered a bag of it. It is similar to the red malay. Strong, sedating, pain relief on point, and a good moodlift. I would say that this one is slightly more pain relief and less moodlift than the red malay, but this is why we have blends! It is very lightly fermented, making it a great base to any red blend. I normally do not like fermented strains, but this one I couldn't even tell until Benni told me. Just goes to show how much of a placebo effect I put on myself thinking I'm going to dislike fermented strains. I was very impressed with this one.
White Borneo-8.5/10. Those of you who know me from discord know that I normally despise whites. I bought this on the off chance I would like it because Benni said it was very balanced and not overwhelming. I get bad anxiety from whites (probably because I drink caffeine in the mornings so the combination doesn't sit well with me) but this one gave me 0 anxiety, and actually helped calm me down and focus! It was a calm, cool focus while providing pain relief and a pretty great moodlift. It also provided that body numbness that really helps relax my tense muscles and makes me feel okay for that moment. When I don't get that feeling, I don't like the burn. This is one of the only whites that has done it for me, aside from a 2018 batch of Kraydo white borneo (still have a little of that one left. Saving it for a rainy day
Green Malay-8/10. This is a solid "Green Malay". I know the names don't really mean a ton, but the feeling that people talk about with Malay strains is definitely there. It shines in the moodlift department, and provides decent pain relief, but less relief than the previous 3 I have mentioned. I have used it on its own and in blends and it does the job for me every time. Mix it up with a red and you've got your pain relief, mix it with another green and prepare for a VERY uplifting vibe. I got a sample of this one as well and it was enough for me to order more! Another very solid offering for a midspec green.
Super Green Kali-8/10. This one was a little faster than I bargained for, but I burned it again mixed with some red Kapuas from Benni and it was a lovely ride! A faster green with great pain relief and a solid moodlift. It didn't do as much for anxiety as I had hoped, but that is most likely due to me not expecting it to be as fast as it was. After a few tries though, I nailed down that I need a slightly lower dose of this one and it works well. Potency is definitely there! If you've ever had nano grind, then you know what this powder looks like. Makes for a very easy toss and wash. Overall another solid offering.
These are just the most recent standouts for me. Other honorable mentions include the JKMD, Red Kapuas, Red Borneo, Super White Kali, Green Goddess, Green MD, and Batak. I have over 25 varieties from Benni, and I will continue to try more as he updates his stock. I have had very few from him that didn't get me in some way, but these ones are the ones I consistently reach for. Benni is great about helping you find the leaf that fits you best, and I recommend buying from him for sure!
