Mystic Island has yet again delivered the best customer service, shipping speed, and quality leaf! Ordered my first kilo from these guys and the Phatcracker is still phenomenal! If you haven't tried them then they should be next on your list. Ordered Thursday around 4pm and it got here Saturday at noon. They have my favorite packaging too. 10/10!

I got 500g of Phatcracker and 500g of Green MD. I also ordered a little 25g of some Red MD. I like a little red at night sometimes.

I just got 250 grams of Mermaid yesterday and I wish I'd gotten more. Just a little bit of it added to other strains seems to potentiate them. Not all strains but quite a few.

HH would you say Mermaid is better for pain than Vampire? I have yet to order from MI and have been watching other convos about this. I like the idea of adding in some Mermaid to other strains to amp up the pain relief factor.

You know I couldn't really tell you which one would be best for pain. I generally only take vampire not too long before bedtime for sleep and I don't usually hurt much at that time of the night.

Agree 100% that Mystic Island is a winner. Great service, shipping was practically instantaneous, and the packaging is really classy, too.

I ordered a handful of $3 sample sizers just to get a feel for the strains on offer and so far every single one has been lovely — with the exception of Phatcracker, oddly enough. I suspect I was too conservative with my dosage on that one, everyone's enthusiasm had me scared of overdoing it, haha.

I'll be reordering from Mystic for sure!

I've been wanting to order from Mystic Island, but damn it's confusing trying to figure out what I want.

Reds do basically nothing for me, so sifting through these blends trying to find some that don't have a lot of red mixed in is difficult. Especially when I like to make purchases based on people's reviews.

Does anyone have any suggestions on some good green/white blends? Basically anything that's energetic/euphoric. I think I'm going to buy a bunch of 25g bags, but need a good starting point.

Based on this thread, I'll be trying phatcracker and mermaid. Looking for more.

I picked up $40+ ($3 samples) approx 2 weeks ago.. perhaps I can help!

First I should quickly note: I do not like extremely heavy sedating kratom strains or the overly stimulating "wired" energy types either. Ideally, I want a strain that is uplifting, motivating, moderately energetic with at least some pain relief, slight relaxation, and a ton of clarity/mood lift/euphoria/!
My order was mostly Whites, Greens, Blends(w/g, all green, w/g/y,) AND Red Vietnam for good measure.
Unicorn vs Peridot (both w/g blends)
Although Unicorn is a heavy hitting customer fav. in most M.I. reviews.. PERIDOT is hands down my favorite blend!
Unicorn is a very energetic, strait forward, get stuff done kinda strain but I slightly one dimensional.. I would probably use it to energize and round out my slower more euphoric strains. Peridot's effects are slightly less energetic but its clarity, mood lift/euphoria, anti-anxiety, and pain relief qualities are markedly higher! Online the description mentions it having a "sparkle" which is somehow perfectly accurate
Similar to Peridot, White Bali(noted M.I. fav!) & White Borneo(noted Jess fav!) also have happy/euphoric/feel good qualities. W.Borneo having a slight bit more energy and clarity than the W.Bali which has a cozier feel.
W.MD, like Unicorn, is a bit faster, slightly less euphoric, but it also has excellent clarity. I have been adding it to all my morning mixes (because I looooove clarity!) and really anything that needs a little pep!
Centaur is a great, best of all worlds, green blend, a bit less euphoric and energetic than the strains I previously mentioned but it is highly effective at calming the mind and steadying the nerves.
G.MD is energetic and motivating while G.Vietnam is calm and euphoric.
Next, Amethyst & Nymph..
Unfortunately, Amethyst turned out a bit too heavy/sleepy for me so I have only used it once or twice. I definitely knew when I ordered that this outcome was a likely possibility
NYMPH(w/g/r blend), on the other hand, turned out to be an unexpected favorite! Because of the red in this blend, I was worried it would also be too heavy/sleepy for me but It has a clear calm energy. It is definitely similar to my other favorites with the most notable difference being it was twice as effective on pain!
Lastly, Red Vietnam turned out to be a really great red for me! Kinda like Bentuangies, R.Vietnam provided moderate pain relief and excellent relaxation without any sedation.
..I am still working through Doppelganger but hopefully, my assessments thus far are helpful... Oh!, it might also be useful to mention that based on my preferences M.I.(owner) recommended I try Gandalf, Topaz and/or Phoenix as well!
All & all, wonderful kratom, wonderful company! ..with $3 samples how can you go wrong!!
