So basically companies get sued all the time for all kinds of random stuff. Sometimes the stuff is so generic that they do not require people to prove that they purchased an item that had false advertising on it for example. The company would get sued and then agree to pay a certain amount of money to whom ever they defrauded by falsely advertising a product.

So the consumers must fill out a claim form saying that they purchase that item in order to get some of the money. Sometimes they will require proof of purchase such as a receipt, but sometimes they do not. In these instances, you do not need a receipt in order to get the money, that is what the link shows is open claims you can file without any proof. Usually if you do have proof they will give you more money, but if you do not have proof they will still give you some, usually something like 10 or $15.

That link Is to a website that lists all of the class action lawsuits you can file a claim for that do not require any proof of purchase. So you just fill them out and say that you bought something but you don’t have a receipt and then they give you some money in the mail. I filled some out a few months ago and got some free money from a few places like chipotle in Primera Blue Cross So I just filled out like six more. It totals for like 75 or 80 bucks I think. I figured something productive to do when you’re bored,Lol
