I saw this on reddit earlier. Here is a comment I've copied and pasted:
"The thing here is it only "proves a false positive" to the vendor. To prove that to the FDA would require the vendor be completely compliant with the laws, guess what though? No NDIN would mean to the FDA they aren't totally compliant anyway and will have a seriously tiugh time proving the FDA/CDC/Local Health Officials was the one that had the false positive when they could be proved under the law to be selling an adultered product if their entire set up wasn't cGMP compliant. Yes that's how the FDA views any product that isn't fully compliant. This is one of those times I can't agree with Kelly/KU's tweet. Alot more information would need to come forward for me to accept that as fact. Interesting issue though.
Also I didn't see this quickly as it doesnt notify you if you are tagged in the post. Sorry I didn't respond quicker. Took someone letting me know to see it as I'm not on reddit much lately due to personal time issues."
