We’ve very recently launched our USA brand edible wafer films, Blate Papes.

My name is Harrison and I am one of the co-founders. A very short background: in 2010 I was introduced to Kratom and I immediately began learning as much as I could. I used capsule machines, toss n washes, and toilet paper.
My Kratom use has waned but for many years I continued this method for taking all of my powdered products.
It was early this year when Covid gave us the push we needed to take this idea and make something out of it (and to stop eating tp)
So a few months, and a bit of money and hard work later, Blate Papes was born.

As we’re so new to the board, we’d like to introduce the brand by offering 5 people the free opportunity to try our Papes and simply let everyone know what they think.

Three of them will be our (currently selling) 200-Count Soft Packs

..and two will be our new retail-hard cases (pre-release) that are set to drop in mid-late November!

The FIRST FIVE to reply (and that have a current post count of at least 10 posts- I know, lame considering that we’re new ourselves) will be offered the opportunity! Who gets the pre-releases will be chosen at random.


We will DM the first five tomorrow evening (oct 22) with the code to use on our website to check out free.

What are ingredients of the blate papes, there are many that are picky here. if its not natural and animal by products then no way i am getting it. i mean is a good concept and idea but to find something organic will be very very hard to do so. Can you list all the ingredients here? And maybe a link to your site? you cant even reply unless you have 5 posts so just letting you know.

I actually am very picky myself, which is why they are made from just Corn Starch and Water. They are not organic, but they are Non-GMO. Our goal is to switch to using Organic Cassava Flour in the next year-two years.

And yes I am quickly increasing my rep in order to do so. This may have been a day or two premature but that’s alright, so long as the community appreciates the gesture!

To answer your question, Blate Papes are made from just Corn Starch and water, they’re larger than any other oblate disc, and are actually easier to use as a square. Now, I don’t recommend this to anyone but I have taken 11+ grams at one time, plenty of times.. but I also am a big person. In fact, I can link a video of this to demonstrate.

Typical oblate discs are 3.5 inches, and circle, ours are 4x4 and square, leaving much more surface area for powder.


Lol, btw, I guess you could say that they’re designer, but rather to explain, I use them every day and they are superior in the sense of how much they hold.
I take huge doses of everything, multiple times a day. This is even how I take my pre workouts. Only single ingredient everything.

But they’re the lowest price of any oblate online and on Amazon because we want people to try them. We also offer free samples on our site, with $2 to ship.
Our hard cases will be a very, very competitive price as well.

I would love an opportunity to try these out!! I've been looking on Amazon at these disks but haven't pulled the trigger yet. Currently I toss n wash which works but I'd like a better, easier, tastier option for taking my Kratom daily. Funny story, well not funny at the time of course, I tried using tp as a disk....very bad idea for me personally. It got stuck in my throat and I couldn't breathe for about 20 seconds. Very scary. I learned to toss n wash from that point on. Hopefully I'll have an opportunity to try these!!

Of course, no issues! And we appreciate your advice. Know your audience, right! We’ve just begun marketing to the fitness industry, who have never heard of oblates before.. so the larger oblates as a key feature is obviously more important here on the forum.

Thank you Lucky! Apologies for the late reply, we've been in the process of moving to our new office building/stock house since last week, but I will PM you now. We are also currently making new media for Blate users. Many people have trouble figuring out how to use oblates when they first receive them, so both our upcoming video media and our new hard packs have been designed to include all of the helpful information necessary to remedy this. This includes tips such as how water temperature affects an oblate's gel-speed, how if an oblate is torn it will heal itself when dipped in water, and how certain powders actually cause an oblate to gel at different speeds.

I also always like to remind people that our papes don't have anything added to them other than starch and water, which is an advantage making them ideal for health nuts, vegans, etc. However, some people that are accustomed to other oblate brands, specifically those with chemicals and emulsifiers added to them, find that they have a slightly different feel and as such must slightly change how they use them. Our recommended folding methods and tips are designed specifically with this in mind.

From someone that uses them multiple times a day, every day, I can say without question that Blate Papes are superior, especially in the amount of powder that one can hold versus any other oblate film. But those users that are used to other brands may want to take a moment to watch the videos on our media page and/or read our instructional PDF. It's also important to ensure that Blate Papes are always kept sealed when not in use. Being kept airtight will ensure that they maintain their optimum usability. ..although they will still always work regardless of being left out for long periods of time (my significant other can attest to this as I lay them out each morning and she always waits to take them before bed). -.-

Is it possible to pack it and then take with you? Or do you need to take it quickly after assembling?

BlatePapers.....I did recieve my freebie last week and I apologize for not posting that sooner. Your shipping time was great!! I haven't used them yet though and the reason why is because I'm not an oblate user before getting this free sample so I am intimited by them. I have looked at your pictures you posted and the same directions came in my pack. Maybe I'll give your video's a watch and try to gain a little bit of confidence. Before I had my toss n wash down pat I did try the ol' toliet paper wrap method and nearly suffocated!! No lie!! So I am a bit intimitated and nervous to try these but I def think there is a place for them to be used and I really do want to love them. I will report back once I have tried a few of them but I'm sure they are gonna be a hit with oblate users.

Dope bro! I'm hype to hear you're trying oblates at all, especially ours! Trust me, if you've never used them before, and you currently make capsules or 'toss n wash,' you're never going to look back! It's like night and day, guaranteed.

As for packing it and taking it with you, that's really the only advantage that capsules have over oblates. You can't make a pouch and take it with you without a good chance of it breaking apart, but you can bring the things you need to do it pretty much anywhere. It seems difficult if you haven't done it like that, but it actually takes way less time than pre-making 5-20 capsules just for one use.

Here are a couple ways that we've done it:

If you're somewhere that you have access to cups and water, just bring your powders in a small bag or container and make sure to pack your papes too. Then use the outside of the powder bag or oblate package as a surface to lay the oblate on so you don't have to put it on some questionable counter. After that, use the oblate just as you normally would, with a cup of water.

But say you're in your car, and you don't happen to have a cup on you.. all you need is a bottle of water or whichever liquid you normally use anyway (iced tea, juice, etc). Just take your oblate and use the "invisible cup" method (make a circle with your hand, put the oblate on it, push the pape into the circle to make a crevice, and then pour the powder in to it...Video on folding methods here: https://www.blatepapes.com/how-to-use/folding-methods). Then, once you've made an oblate pouch, open your car door, pour a small amount of the water/liquid over the pouch, put it in your mouth, and swallow it with more liquid.

Haha no worries! Don't feel obligated, but when you do feel comfortable enough, definitely try it at least for yourself, if not anyone else! Like I was telling TheStanman, it's like a night and day difference over ANY other method! Toilet paper sucks! It's busted on me twice too, and man that was a rush.. and not the good kind! This does not happen with Blate Papes/oblates like it can with TP! That's because the starch in our Papes slowly starts gelling up once dipped in water, creating a soft, conforming gel bubble filled with powder that glides down as you swallow it AND is strong enough to not break open. Just make sure to always dip it in water and swallow it fairly quickly after dipping.

We're certain that when you do, you'll wonder why you waited so long

So I got mine and I’ve used them a couple times now. I have no experience with oblate disks type products but I found these to be really neat! They do exactly what I want and they don’t open up in my mouth like I thought they would. I honestly really like them and will probably order more when these run out

I've used various Japanese oblate discs and bags for taking nootropics, minerals, and of course KRATOM, for about 6 months. I've tried three different Japanese brands, Takikawa Oblate, Pip, and CARE FAST.

For taking powders you cannot beat oblates IMHO. Bulk buying supplements is far less expensive than capsules, but, many powders taste awful and don't mix well wit liquid, even when using a frother. The above Japanese oblates very thin. They often rip, stick to each other, and when dipping them in water all three brands disintegrate before they get down your throat. If you aren't skilled in "dip & slurp", sometimes they fall apart in the water!

Here is my review for the Blate oblate disc squares. Full disclosure I received a package of Blates as a promo through double M.

First, thanks for the info about dipping. I had given up dipping the Japanese versions, and would just swallow dry. You’re right, once you get the hang of it, Blates slide down your throat like jelly, and they don't disintegrate! it takes a bit of practice to get the hang of it, but once you do, its a breeze.

You definitely have a new customer, in me! The larger size compared to the Japanese flat circles makes all the difference in the world, for Kratom, and Blates are larger than all brands, don't stick together, and the quality is far superior. Blates cost less, or are the same price as other brands, and they are made in the USA. It's a no brainer if you use oblates.

Haha, classic! I personally deeply appreciate the time you took to be as detailed in your description and comparisons. Comparing to other brands is paramount to us!
