Review: TFH Wild Green Hulu Kapuas - IR3-GF
Fantastic new green from TFH. Nice color and freshness, this one really hits on all the notes I look for in a green. Moodlift, energy and a hint pain relief.
I feel like TFH has been bringing the heat lately. This new Wild Green hulu Kapuas further adds to that and is really hitting the spot. Recommended.

What else new from TFH have you gotten? And what has been your recent standouts over the past few new batches added last couple months? I also have the new Red Ketapang: A1-7CT coming with the Tuesday order as well as White Rumbun Rimba Kali: JNG:T2 and Top-Shelf Red Md (Special Stock): MUK-SD4C. Really excited to try the Top Shelf Red Bali (the Top Shelf Red MD is one of the best pain reds and always consistent).
I LOVE the new Wild Red Nanga: DYK-2. An extremely well balanced mid-spec RED that hits all the notes. Hit's effect are on the subtle side but they add up like an almost "entourage"-like effect that provides a perfect sense of well being and peacefulness. I don't think this will be a favorite for many as it's not as potent as others and the effects don't hit you hard in the face, but if you like well balanced strains this isa WINNER!
Mentebah Forest Red: MT-DY was just okay for me, but it provides pain relief so it works lol. And the Red Bali Dreamz is good but think I had just too high of expectations, but it is still a very solid mid-slow red.

The Red Ketapang is a beautiful light green color, with really good pain relief. Only burned it once so far, but gave me great feels without sedation. Need to give it a few more burns.MikeEdoessomething wrote: ↑Sat Jul 02, 2022 1:55 amI got that coming on Tuesdayelbandito88 wrote: ↑Sat Jul 02, 2022 12:04 am Fantastic new green from TFH. The top shelf red Bali is fantastic as well. Top notch pain relief as well as moodlift. Like a warm blanket, but also isn’t sedating for me.
Mentebah Forest Red was actually a standout for me.
Nice energetic daytime red with lots of relief. I’ve heard multiple people say this one hasn’t worked well, but I think it just shows our bodies are truly different. It packs a massive punch for me.
I really do think , especially according to the data Chris and Angie have done, that personal chemistry is the biggest catalyst in these batches.
The top shelf white maeng da has also been great. I honestly can’t say anything new hasn’t hit for me.
My favorite batches right now are probably the new sapphire Sunda, new wild green Hulu Kapuas and mentebah forest red.
Have yet to try the red nanga or white rimbun. Sapphire Sunda is pure happiness.

Thanks for the reviews! And me too on the Mentebah. One of the best daytime reds I've tried from TFH in a while. Felt like an above-mid green with very good pain relief. I received my order the other day, and am looking forward to checking out some of the other new batches on the menu, though I totally missed the Hulu Kapuas. Chris said that there's a bunch of new greens on the way though, so I know I'll be placing another order soon and will check that one out.elbandito88 wrote: ↑Sat Jul 02, 2022 2:04 am Mentebah Forest Red was actually a standout for me.

Re: Review: TFH Wild Green Kapuas - IR3-GF
Appreciate the reviews!
I have been looking forward to some new Greens from TFH and the previous Wild Green Hulu Kapuas IR25 was (is) some of the best i have tried! So i have to try the new IR3 GF
I am also going to try the Wild Premium Green Bali: MO-WP1
Strangely, I have been enjoying TFH's Reds lately and find them as satisfying as most of the recent Greens, and that is coming from a predominantly Green Only type of user. Namely: Red Elephant Kali (V3): MO-IR8B -30 Year Wild Red Hangat Hulu: IRCB-9 -Baik Hutan Maeng Da: IRCA – 10 - Wild Red Hulu Kapuas: IR-2B
I think I am preferring more mellow K lately and maybe that is why the Reds are ticking my box

Yea that Red Elephant Kali hits for me every time one of my all time favorites. I'm in the same boat the reds hit better for me than the greens. If they weren't labeled red I would think they're all strong greens. I'm long overdue for a TFH order I'm just not buying 250's anymore because I order more than I consume and the stash is getting way out of control. If you could buy split half keys for a discount Id probably order everything on the menu eventually. Just can't do the 250's anymore.

It's probably a great idea I can never be a member of TFH, because I can see I'd spend $$$ and, like you, could never manage to use even a tiny bit (that still wouldn't stop me from buying, though).

Re: Review: TFH Wild Green Hulu Kapuas - IR3-GF
Yes. Fully agreed. Clearly it is part of a master strategy they have. TFH kind of keeps the TP going round because everyone has a few too many 250g. I am very guilty of that and have decided that I am only going to buy the 100g 'limited' stock items. They are good quality and the right size (still too big for me actually).Gianster wrote: ↑Sun Jul 03, 2022 7:10 am Yea that Red Elephant Kali hits for me every time one of my all time favorites. ...oh yeah... and if I had a membership too.

Does your older TFH stuff still work for you? Most of my classics are unfortunately no bueno.

Send me a list of some of those classics...there are tons of them that I wish I had saved for myself. I'd love to trade!

Hey Chris, I still have a bunch - more like a TON - of batches from over the years (a large amount of Greens especially as I use mostly reds the majority of the time), but a lot of TFH leaf would be an understatement for how much TFH I havegumbyke1 wrote: ↑Mon Jul 04, 2022 11:36 pmSend me a list of some of those classics...there are tons of them that I wish I had saved for myself. Is their any batch(s) in particular you wish you still had (just to get a general idea of what you would have liked to have saved some for yourself?) or like to trade for? For example, that picture you posted of the "proper burial" on the other thread for the 30 Year Wild Red - IR3 --- I still have that one
I can also put together a list as well, if interested. Curious what is considered a classic to you (just for perspective, of course, as we all have different preferences and likes). Would be happy to help return the favor for all the amazing leaf I've gotten from your business

I know what you mean. I have nearly every white on their current menu and many that aren't anymore. Plus many greens and a few reds. I may have a problem because I check the TFH menu every single day

Yep I'm in the camp that ALL TFH is pretty much excellent, across the board - Throw a dart.elbandito88 wrote: ↑Sat Jul 02, 2022 2:04 am I really do think , especially according to the data Chris and Angie have done, that personal chemistry , is the biggest catalyst in these batches.
The Top Shelf White maeng da has also been great. I honestly can’t say anything new hasn’t hit for me.
His Consumer Tested research is huge... WHAT does this tell us, about "Reviews" and especially anonymous Reviews ?? - Well, there hasn't been a Research Paper, or anything like that - We did get some comments over a year ago. Basically for ANY "strain" there's some people who Rate 9 or 10 ... AND a bunch of people who Rate 2 or 3. LOL
Yep. It's ALL... Personal Chemistry. AND to be more frank... "When did the Reviewer, last take a Shit - How's the Tolerance, and how's the Bowels doing" ??

Why I try not to read the latest reviews. They have had only one open event since I joined and I luckily got some then but had I known there wouldn't be another one in this long I may have gotten more. I still have some of it but getting low on my faves.Kelleytoons wrote: ↑Thu Jul 07, 2022 5:41 pm It's reading stuff like this that makes me rather happy I'm not a member of TFH - I suspect I'd buy WAY too much from them.

In this particular case it's really TFH that is the loser, since I would most likely spend many hundreds of dollars with them (hell, I've spent close to 1K just with Kat's, and all of THAT Kratom I'm getting rid of). So I'M the winner here <g>.
