Okie's Green Bali 2500001 GBA.06.2022

This strain from Okie's was absolutely incredible. For me it was low low spec. Honestly this is the first strain to make me appreciate low spec. One caveat is that instead of lowering my dose on this new strain, the mad fat clumps of this stuff just fell out giving me a whopping almost 5g dose. My normal dose is between 2.5 and 4g now. Holy shooots in 20 min I was feeling immobilized, but in a good way. Will definitely be mixing this with Lucky's borneo blast! This is the stuff low spec dreams are made of. MIT 1.95% 7OH .001%

edit: this stuff has some long legs and can mess with your next dose.

Grabbed a few bags of this, really good stuff. Been really happy with this farmer from Okie's , White Borneo - 10/10, Okie's White 9/10, and Okies Green Bali 9.5/10 are all quite good. Glad I stocked up!

Haven’t tried it yet but contemplating ordering some Green Dragon/there are some good reviews on Reddit; it has 2.1% mit which is insane…placed 2 orders with Okie’s in the past month but considering how good Okie’s recent stuff was it’s hard to pass up!

i have some of the green dragon. It was also very nice but to me this gbali was better. If you like slow greens tho that are mega strong, the green dragon is where its at for you

Thx! Tbh mid/slow greens are some of my favorites but the green Bali is pretty slow for me, can’t imagine a slower green…

the bali def felt way more sedated or mellow than the green dragon to my body

The Green Bali reminds me a lot of Lucky’s Red Krakatoa (1st batch), excited to get the Green Dragon, waiting for my order to get shipped out now.

I just started using Okies very recently. I started with a 7 strain sample pack, that I was quite disappointed with. This was back in Feb/March. Outside of the Dr. Feel Good...being actually pretty good, nothing else did anything for me (White MD, Dynomite, Green Malay etc)

But after seeing the raves about the White Borneo, I figured I would give it another go around. Boy I sure am glad I did. Funny thing is when I ordered my second bag of the White Borneo (for stash purposes) I asked about getting some Green Bali which was sold out months ago on my first order. He didn't have the website updated yet but he gave me some of this same Green Bali GBA06.2022 (which I haven't opened up yet) which I stoked that I made this move!

Rarely do I see/fee such positive results from vendors I haven't ordered from, or get the same hype of all these others.

I just got my order, gonna try it out this afternoon, I'll report back. One thing to note which I was surprised by. I got some green crystal extract in this order as well (figured it would be worth trying) and it is lab tested at 4.07% mit, 0.003 7-OHM. Green Dragon tests at 2.1% mit, 0.001% 7-OHM. That means that this stuff is so strong, crystal extract is only 2x stronger than this plain leaf, pretty insane!

Green Dragon is great...10/10, not sure if I like the Green Bali or Green Dragon better.

Green Dragon is mid but Green Bali is slow (like Lucky Red Krakatoa OG batch)...can't go wrong with either!

Yeah, red krakatoa was a blend of 2 rainy season greens. I might stock up too since red krakatoa was one of my favorites, down to my last bag now…Green dragon/white Borneo are also worth getting if you are gonna place an order but I agree it’s hard to find good nighttime Kratom!

Before that RK, I hadn't found any that sedating for a couple years. So yeah, I stocked up. Added a half kilo to my blend and stashed another half for later.

I know everyone hates it when I talk about them, but I have to say... New Dawn's Red Dragon last night saved me.

As a rule I try and take a red at night ONLY when I've played tennis but this old body is getting more and more... well, old. I didn't play yesterday and went to bed early (for us, around 10:30pm) but about 2am I work up in pain and couldn't get back to sleep (you always have to identify what is the cause of your insomnia, because "mindfulness" isn't cured by drugs, but when it's pain medication helps a lot). I had some ND Red Dragon I've never tried, but because it was late I didn't want to take my usual amount (usually around 3.5 grams of red for me is needed). So I took 1.5 grams and - wow. Really, really good - fell asleep right away and slept through until morning (about six hours later).

Sorry to get OT but ND constantly surprises me. I probably won't buy from them again - I have WAY more than I need of their stuff and I want to frequent the smaller folks - but I have NEVER had a miss with them despite buying dozens of strains.

At this point, ND is clearly what works for you. I have an old bag of Benni Green Maeng Da from years back and I still dose every week with it. Like that will be the main composite of my urine, BB GMD. Haha.

Also, I am so stoked that you took less and it worked better. Kava has a weird reverse tolerance thing which I am still struggling with believing and consuming but does mark it high on my 'this is a fucking bizarre nature thing that acts alien af'

Yes and as you know I firmly credit you with that finding - I was completely convinced that "less is more" was total bullshit but your PMs made me try and you were definitely right. I would NEVER have believed 1.5 grams would have done anything. Hell, even last night I was skeptical but it was one of those "well, if this doesn't work I'll just take more" sort of things.

I'm still a *bit* cautious on my tennis days - I don't take what I used to take, but I also don't think I'd ever try as low a dose as I took last night. If I'm out on the courts and it doesn't work... well, then *I* don't work (and even at my old age with thousands of hours of play behind me, I kind of have a reputation to uphold :>). There may be a day I'll get brave enough to lower my dose but for now 2.5-3 grams works and that's what my tennis one will be (but I AM starting to rethink my nighttime red dose and will experiment with lower doses of that even).

Yup, for me I have very similar effects to the 1st gen of Lucky's Krakatoa from it/stocked up for my evening doses, I treat it as a red. Give it another try, I found that it took ~2 burns to get the full effects from Okie's leaf.

Just opened a bag of this Green Bali. I don't think I've ever seen a bag of kratom that looked and smelled this fresh. And the color! Wow!

I tried it last night and, unfortunately, it keep me up. So much so that at around 2am I took 1.5 grams of a red just to get to sleep (which did work).

So - at least for me this ain't something I can take at night. I might try it again earlier in the day to see if it's any good.
