If they make it schedule 1 then it would be the duty of all law abiding citizens to immediately flush their stash down the toilet to be in compliance with the law and big Pharma's wishes. I have no doubt that's what everyone will do if this should come to pass.

If it is scheduled (although I think we are actually heading towards regulation) there will probably be a grace period where you can voluntarily surrender it to be destroyed. If they schedule it, they can't use it in their kratom drug that they allegedly got a patent for. If I recall correctly, schedule 1 substances are considered by law to have no medicinal value.

I really can't say? Typically, what we eat in our precincts is in our precincts and we have never had problems in our own place?
They will hack at other stuff first tho, like kratom is legal but importing isn't or any kind of stunt they think they can pull. I didn't vote for Trump so he could buy them off with open season on US. Drug crisis=cash grab and I was disappointed in that.
But really, this is not 1959 and a bunch of 17 year olds over pot. Whatever, this is not going to go like pot did. Completely different time and atmosphere.

I checked r/kratom and it seems like everyone has gotten too comfortable with the panic and show no signs of stopping. A lot of them are saying this is a bad thing. It's a pessimism epidemic over there.

I agree we need to organize an online operation. We need to hit every available platform with infographs and memes. They are actually very effective in spreading information.get in front of the propaganda machine before it can bite us.

Come on man, don't be spreading that. Just like how kratom isn't illegal, but they're still seizing it through customs. I've seen two letters from the FDA that say that kratom is still legal in the US, but importing it isn't AND customs has the okay from the FDA to seize it. You never know what the government will do.
