geez you make it sound like a vendor being on this forum is something bad! a lot of vendors that get reviewed here don't hang out here, the difference is, they don't advertise here. they could make a posting in the vendor listings if they wanted to, but they probably have sufficient business already.

Well ballz the issue with Treasure house is that they struggle with putting out consistently above average kratom, I guarantee you if you ask 10 true veteran kratomites around here they will say the same. Now I do and will order from them but it's no secret that they struggle to put out consistently great product, but you know here and there they have some real good ones. Same goes for Philly but alot less good ones that I've heard of. Now Okies has put out a few real good batches in the last year or so, but also had some real mediocre restocks as well. Artisan is excellent for extracts and sometimes will get a great batch of plain leaf but mostly just average quality leaf, I do like where they are going with their lab testing and posting them for each strain in detail and they have great prices. Another mid sized vendor I used for years Kratom OG fell off hard in 2020 and seemed to stock pretty mediocre leaf through 2021, but now since March 2022 batch have seemed to be back to getting some consistently above average to great kratom.

Hey Corde, what stood out from Kratom-OG that you've gotten recently? Harry (KOG) was the vendor I used the most leaf from for several years but haven't ordered from them in quite some time. I do wonder why they haven't been talked about or mentioned past few years, but they did have a good reputation and I assume a steady customer base... They don't seem to be active on any forums (which I can totally understand as that can bring lots of problems). I've been meaning to order again from them. Their Supergreen was always a standout, and some of their blends were incredible, and they had a lot of unique leaf/blends, at one point there was like 75 different strains. I still have a sealed KILO of the very first MD SULAWESI batch! And some of the first Green Asia, which I think Harry was the first to carry, though I may be wrong on that.

Anything from their recent re-stocks you'd suggest (I think I've seen you're reviews on their site over the years, unless I'm mistaken, but I know you're very familiar with their leaf?) I look for pain relief and energy above all else. The Red Tenaga batches over the years were always great daytime reds for my me and my mother. I wish I could find 2 batches from them from around 2017/2018 I believe: 1) Yellow Sulawesi and 2) the original MD ULTRA from when it first was released- that was like Rocket Fuel!!

Is Madison still their email representative? She was always such a pleasure to chat with. Good to see you around here again, too. Sorry for all the questions, but thanks if you're able to recommend anything! Glad to hear their good/great quality is back with recent re-stocks

Yeah that's me from the reviews over the years. Lol Yeah you don't see much about them here and their quality drop in 2020 is actually the reason I found my way here I was die hard kog for many years, I would order from other vendors here and there as well...but they were my staple. That MD ultra you are talking about was insane shit was like herbal red bull powder mixed with kratom. I remember that green Asia(I loved that first green Asia) and the Sulawesi stuff they carried, they had a shit ton of different selections over the years. From what I've seen they pretty much only restock and use one supplier now which is their main supplier with the oggmd, green bota, supergreen, and alot of the other staples. Some of those other supplier selections they had over the years were excellent and I wish they actually did get some of that stuff again (like red tenaga) but last time I had the green Asia and red tenaga on a hopeful order in December 2020 they both SUCKED so I think they have to be well aware that there was a big quality drop during 2020 that carried all the way through 2021 from what I've been told and that's why they are trying to focus on less selections but better quality now. The march 2022 batch stuff I got was insanely great like greens they had back years ago super super fresh and crazy beautiful green that were POTENT. The next April restock was really good with all hitters for me too but not quite as good as march, now they have the June batch which isn't near as good to me as the march or April but still pretty dang good and better than alot of other stuff I've had from other vendors so far this year. The last few orders I get the OGGMD, Green Bota, Green Pucuk, Premium Red MD, and the Green JK but this June Green JK is probably the weakest link out of the ones I've tried from June so far. I think that this is a great sign though that they are back focused on quality bc honestly I got to say it seemed that during 2020 when quality dropped hard that KOG wasn't really caring that much about their kratom business or something personal was distracting but that's just my hypothesis. I'm hyped to see the resurgence of them though and I'm hoping this next batch is going to rival some of the late summer/early fall stuff of the glory days but we will see. Madison is still there answering emails and processing orders as well. They must still have a massive following bc their batches have been selling out relatively quick usually about a month or so and it may take a few days for it to ship.

Not to change the topic of this thread too much: I got a recent order For Treasure House a few days ago and I'll add a few brief reviews for what I got:

Green Ranah - I thought was very nice. I got nice mid-to-mid slow spec effects, with good mood boost and decent pain relief. Was well-rounded too which I like in leaf. I agree the leaf isn't the brightest or look the Rhino/Denette leaf, but the strain worked for me. Happy I got it.
Red Rusa - this had a weird color, almost tan-like. Don't know if it was dried or processed in a unique way (maybe oxidized?), but this was a very good RED strain for me. Relaxing and with good amount of pain relief. Helped with stress/anxiety as well
Red Santano - only tried once but seemed to be a mid-spec with a subtle energy and nice mood boost and pain relief. Think this will be a good daytime red, but that was just on first test dose, so I'll need to try it more to get better idea of it overall
Red MD Jongkong (sample they included) - a very good slightly energetic red! My favorite out of the strains I got in this order. Knocked out my pain while I was at work and put me in an overall much better mood
Premium Jongkong (another sample included) - this is always a consistent good green for me. Good uplifting energy, excellent morning strain to start the day

Very pleased overall with Treasure House, all 5 strains I got were good-to-very good, and all had effects that worked in some way, so no duds for me which is always a bonus lol. I've ordered over a dozen times from them over the years, and I find I get more hits than misses with them. Now, I don't quite think their leaf is as good as Denette/TFH/Rhino/Lonestar (and the leaf isn't nearly as fresh looking or bright as other vendors) but I like having their leaf in my rotation. Treasure House kratom has a different feeling to me, hard to explain exactly in what way, but sometimes it's nice to have a variety and switch things up

someone on here said they did samples, so I emailed them. for the price of priority shipping ($8.75), I got 5 very small, irregular samples (3 were 10g, one was 9g, one was only 6g). at this amount, it could have easily fit in first class, would have been half the price. maybe it was a misunderstanding on my part, but based on our email exchange, I thought it would be a little more substantial. getting a sample of 6 grams is a bit frustrating, as that's not enough to get more than one run out of it (for me, anyway). whether the samples would include more had I paid for a full sample pack, I'm not sure.

oddly enough, the two strains that included <10 grams were the two that were decent. while the green ranah and the white santano were good, I found the green md, super green md, and modern red md to be subpar.

it was also a huge hassle making payment; the first and hopefully last time I'll be using Waave. (venmo and zelle were the other options, both of which I don't have and couldn't easily set up)

that was my experience, overall I'm glad I did the samples before diving into a larger amount because most of them didn't work for me.

I will try to do better with reviews, I've already tried the Red Jongkong MD, Green Santano and Green Ranah but I honestly couldn't tell you the effects of them because I can't really tell much about each one separately, I may take some Ranah in the morning and then add a Santano on top of it a couple hours later, then do the red later at night and all combined maybe with other stuff so in order to review I need to just stick with one longer during the day to evaluate it and take into consideration I have a pretty high tolerance I think. I'm also enjoying honey stix and gummies here and there, and I was sampling some blends and isolates from WG as well so the effects kinda got all blended together.

So here are my thoughts on the recent thb batch 61.
My favorite hands down out of this stuff is Super Green Maeng Da, it is very good and nice and potent.
Green ranah is decent for me but it just doesn't have that good of potency in my opinion I can feel it, but it's super mild effects
Premium jongkong is decent as well, but another one that is relatively mild
Green maeng da is a slightly less potent version to the super green maeng da and is my second favorite from this order.
Red jongkong is a nice daytime red with some pretty good potency as well. Overall I'm pretty pleased with this THB order, but a little disappointed in the "premiums" bc honestly the others seem to be where it's at for me to be fair thb makes it very clear that the premiums arent meant to necessarily mean they will be better though.

Wafting is a great word that I haven't come across in a while. Can't wait to use it.

Thks for reminding me of Benni's All great with a couple of stand outs from him one July maybe 3-4 yrs ago. It was the Nugroz that was so SO unexpectedly good I burned right through it. On the fast end though, kinda very centered & leveled out though too.

Definitely. Kratom-OG has been a favorite of mine since they used to sell samples. I'd bought from them last year when someone said they'd gone "down hill". Hearing that was a let down but once I tried it - Ive been very happy. It's in my most used circulation - including Green Asia. It's not the near life changing experience that a very special batch yielded- I remember the first time with that gem, also referred to above by a cpl ppl. but it's a fantastic slower, not super heavy green with very smooth good feels. Some of their stuff will suit a specific purpose. Great for stocking the tool box.

yeah I wonder what the deal with that is. would have liked to have gotten a better idea of what their leaf is like. I usually get samples to see how a vendor's leaf is so I can better make a decision on whether or not to get a larger quantity, but I'm still left wondering.

The batch #61 menu was shrinking, like I saw one item get picked off the list while I was shopping and "available" numbers dropping so I had company in the store that day unless it's software playing games. Prolly happens a lot more often than you realize but I dunno it that applies here.

I have several sealed bags and a couple or three I don't have a clear read on yet but here's where I am on two or three- And product wise - it's looking pretty good and unique enough to hold some added value. ok, now...

Not Business as Usual / not what your used to anyway...
- don't rely on expectations and habits when approaching this one. And read the FAQ to be sure you don't miss something before it's too late. Those questions are frequently asked by ppl AFTER the completion of a sale in order to explain something not anticipated. I'm sure it's all mentioned in some page somewhere. I didn't bring my counsel along to sit beside me while I make this purchase. So it's my fault that I encountered costly surprises (including a discount for crypto that you have to search for to find- in case you might pay more anyway? Everyone else posts that up front and so.. yes TH should jump off of that cliff too. Definitely. It'll be my fault that I don't come back probably too.

- So far, Green Rusu is my favorite. ( I get this confused with Rana when reading reviews- this is "Rusu") This has come through no matter what I do with it- very good 1st impression by itself and it plays well with others without getting lost in blends. I find it a bit difficult to find very good slow greens that have personality AND don't fail in competition so this made me very pleased with the order right off the bat. This is part of the bright side.

- My 1st run with Green Maeng Da was a very good and happy one. Centered, productive, attitude & emotionally supportive. The kind of burn you might make note of and try to revisit in effort to learn from it. That's if you were blue when you burned it. It's the contrast that gets attention. Using as a blend component one time, it was far less impactful. This is two uses only - one was profound. The other less than impressive. With more experience, it may shine in combo with the certain things or circumstances. It's not as distinct as Rusu, I 'll say that.

-Red Santano - similar - one phenomenal, one dud. This is why you can't rely on reviews when someone only gave it one try in a rush to be the town crier. Give it time for a really helpful take.

Long, long way to go with these so I may post a review although you know by then batch #61 will be long gone. I guess best you can do is try to gauge future experience.

It'll have to be a handful more of impressive items to get me to come back though. Friction. Tricky business. Over 16.00 for shipping less than a kg and showing me a "buy" button under a total that does not include that charge. I'm sure it said 'sub total" or similar. I'm also sure I wasn't clicking "buy" after having seen a total of 102. for 900 grams. Variety has value, sure. So does not confusing your customers. By the time I'm done spending alot of energy on making careful selections, navigating something that is not "everybody wins", I'm freaking fatigued.

Not sure what that is I'm smelling in that store... but I'd wager it's either corporate experience or success as an ebay seller. I think my lesson learned here is - look very closely when somebody does things very differently and states "everybody wins". That is a warning.

great review. glad I wasn't the only one coming away with a less than stellar experience, especially after hearing nothing but high praise in this thread and other threads like it about this vendor. the way everyone was/is talking about this one, perhaps my expectations were set unreasonably high.

I stayed up too late last night and felt crappy this morning and took 5g of Benni's green Tambora and laid back down for awhile and I did notice very subtlely and gradually a really nice feeling wafting through me. I was like wow, I'm so happy I found this stuff! Wondering what it is that's knawing at you. I can do a test.

Wafting is a great word that I haven't come across in a while. Can't wait to use it.

Thks for reminding me of Benni's ,All great with a couple of stand outs from him one July maybe 3-4 yrs ago. It was the Nugroz that was so SO unexpectedly good I burned right through it. On the fast end though, kinda very centered & leveled out though too.

It was probably the 71520 batch. The green Tambora was 71520 from a Benni bundle I recently purchased on the Trading Post from Lavender of several different old Benni batches. Back then I had loved the yellow Lida and had an incident where I had the last two 100g bags in my order and lost them due to a screw up. I recently posted an ISO yellow Lida 71520 on the TP and got 4 100g bags in a trade and revised my ISO post to ANYTHING from 71520, just need to bump it!

Imagine writing all that then putting phone down for one second to do something and come back and it was gone - poof!

great review. glad I wasn't the only one coming away with a less than stellar experience, especially after hearing nothing but high praise in this thread and other threads like it about this vendor. the way everyone was/is talking about this one, perhaps my expectations were set unreasonably high.

Well I feel like I griped a bit much and I'd stop short of saying I'm not happy. I'm even more happy with the product now than yesterday when I wrote that.
I know they believe it's all clear and aren't aware of how it is and looks from our perspective.
Customer experience is a blind spot for many (probably all to some extent) business owners. Not that it's ok. It's just common and understandable to a point.

So folks, just don't shop there when you're tired- the first time especially bc everything works differently - Actually look for information like that crypto discount I wish I'd known about and expect to get gauged on shipping so it's not a surprise.

You have to get your staples elsewhere anyway bc they are out of stock more often than in it. Same as 6 years ago when I tried to shop there (which means better odds it'll be very good quality - and so far, this time, it is). But yea, this is the 4th take this summer and while competition with the previous # 1 is hard to beat, I think these guys are going to be the best I've had now and for the past few years actually!
