USPS Delivery
Hello,
I recently switched to Mystic Island. I've ordered about 3 times and each time my package came so quickly. My last order shipped out immediately and seemed to be going the usual route. After being in transit, I saw that it went to the Washington DC Network Distribution Center. I believe this is the first time I've ever seen it stop there. DC is completely out of the way to my state from North Carolina. I was a little worried. Although, the expected delivery date is still the same and it says it's now in transit again. Has anyone had this happen to their package?

Re: USPS Delivery
I was thinking it may be due to the holidays. I think last year around Christmas my package rerouted.

Re: USPS Delivery
I'm rarely surprised when the USPS does anything to prevent me from getting my packages in a timely manner any more.

Being someone who ships a lot with USPS (unrelated to this forum) that’s not out of the ordinary at all, especially this one of the year.
Mystic Island always amazes me with their quick shipments, just received a variety and will post reviews shortly.

Fires and blizzards across its path cause delays too. There is usually a red bar notice at the top of the usps tools tracking page if they have a known area delay.
We have shelved mystic and yes, # out of # orders all came 2 days as I recall.

Re: USPS Delivery
I think each time I ordered from Mystic they came in two days. Even when I placed an order the week before Christmas. Since they had limited stock I waited to order more. It actually still hasn't arrived this time. It went to southern MD and now is in transit again. I'm guessing they are still behind with the holidays.

Re: USPS Delivery
I wouldn't worry about it (hard not to) until it's been a good 7 business days, and even then you can't open a missing claim until it's been 14, I think. I usually get my packages pretty quick but there have been exceptions, especially around the holiday season. My last one before Christmas did some funky tracking stuff but still arrived, just a bit late.
