DRHK 6
Just tried this one for the first time yesterday. I had lower expectations because I was having a bad burn day and I've heard it's just "okay". But boy did it knock my socks off! It was burning the upper end of mid for me for the first few hours, and then later on I couldn't keep my eyes open. I really really love this one!!

Where are you getting this? I messaged HeavenLeaf a couple of days ago and never got a response so I'm not so sure they are even selling it.

So this is a slower strain? I’ve read conflicting reviews. (I know it’s different for everyone.)
Wish I’d gotten there in time for the “secret white”!
Anyone have a suggestion for a fail-safe energizing/motivating/euphoric strain from mitra?

For me DRHK is fast but I think I'm in the minority. The Super Green is a pretty good fast bag in my experience.worldfairgirltoo wrote: ↑Sun Oct 15, 2023 1:51 pm So this is a slower strain? I’ve read conflicting reviews. (I know it’s different for everyone.)

Yeah, the problem is it IS different for everyone. Thus - no such thing as a "fail-safe" batch, no matter who it's from.worldfairgirltoo wrote: ↑Sun Oct 15, 2023 1:51 pm (I know it’s different for everyone.)

About the best you can do is find someone whose reviews seem to match up with your own experiences and then trust them. Even then it's not perfect, but it's a lot closer than you can do otherwise. Or just take a chance.

Re: DRHK 6
In my humble opinion of using leaf for quite some time, DRHK6 in fact holds value in my stash. I haven't been upset with one burn from it, whether solo or blended. Although alone it feels like it never hits peak, I have found it's the type of batch that requires blending. It might be because it's not a blended type leaf but more of a pure "strain".
If you're seeking ease on your nerves or even comfort for your soul out of leaf like myself, it should provide nicely. I've been stacking it into faster burns or even to synergize with the slower element ones, seems to provide warmth and that added euphoria, as well as very solid pain relief if that's what you require.

Re: DRHK 6
Thanks for mentioning this - my order came a few days ago and while it will be at LEAST a few weeks before I can make it into capsules I'll try and keep this in mind when I check it out.
My usual procedure nowadays is to rank any batch on its own and if it's not a 5 (out of 5) then I use it for blends. So I'm guessing this won't end up as a 5 on its own but if it's less than a 4 I won't remove it from rotation but just use in blends.

Re: DRHK 6
this starts getting too complicated for me. I don't give strains numerical values, because i've never had a strain give me the same result every time. But since i now have many strains that give me a top result, i'm not sure why i should experiment with blending. But then to me it's kind of like just blending wines together if i don't think one of them is exceptional. I'd rather just drink it by itself anyway. This is admittedly ideology driving functionality, which is probably stupid.

I totally agree w Nelson. For some unknown reason, a strain almost never hits me the same way twice. I have a fast metabolism already, but my body seems to adapt to the alkaloids in any given strain quickly. New strains always tend to hit better. And its frustrating watching someone else (my wife in this case) get good results and burns from the same strains continuously. I rotate strains taking them at least a week apart, while my wife can take the same strain 2 days in a row and feel the effects. Fn crazy...

Same here. I've gotten crazy about the way I rotate, trying to leave a month between burns of the same batch.....and even then the effects feel somewhat diminished.brian b wrote: ↑Mon Oct 23, 2023 9:06 am I totally agree w Nelson. This DRHK6 is pretty damn stuff. Went with 6g burn of it earlier. Was chilling on my couch and was in and out of a state of bliss and relaxation. Woke up out of my trance and realized my pillow behind me was soaked and my neck completely soaked in sweat!
Nice batch, hits the warm blanket feels nicely. If any negatives even with the relaxation it provides a bit of uneasy edginess to the overall feeling. I'll have to blend it with something slower and drop my dosage amount to compensate.
Good shit though!

That's interesting, I've never experienced the edginess from this batch like I have the previous ones. Have you had the drhk3? That would sends me into a piss fit energy sometimes so I've laid low on using it like I would like. First burn of it was excellent and propelled me through the day but anytime after that I had I've had a hard time.

Won't know until you try it! Drhk3 definitely requires dosing down for me as well, or preferably blending with something more balanced.Eu4oric906 wrote: ↑Fri Oct 27, 2023 6:19 pm Ok i have a 250 of 6 sitting here all sealed and shit, time to dive in this weekend see how I like this one. 3 hit nice once i dosed down, funny little leaf.
Actually just ordered another 125 of the 6 from Mitraman with my s&v order.
This is nice quality and rich alk stem and vein.

How do you use the stem and vein? Like if I took my normal dose of it would i go into withdrawals?Uniiiversoul wrote: ↑Fri Oct 27, 2023 6:26 pmWon't know until you try it! Re: DRHK 6
I rarely take on its own. In my experience of playing with it back and forth over the years I stopped trying to take it solo as it would leave my receptors wanting more... Instead I think it's best to blend it in at a particular ratio.
If your dose is generally 4gs like mine is most days as of late imo what's best to do is take it down a notch on the plain leaf to about 2/3 of your dose and blend the s&v in to fill the gap by tossing a gram on top. It also makes the burn seemingly last longer and more often than not I noticed a more well rounded body feel and relief. You have to play around with it a bit but that's the beauty of leaf, it's versatile if you get your chemistry down.
Takes the body a short while to acclimate (couple days of a s&v addition taper) so if you use it at a 1:3 ratio and you dont get as rich of a burn, dont be upset as sometimes you have to sacrifice a couple burns for the greater plan of the regimen.
Or you could try it alone but it's a lot coarser on the stomach for myself and in the past I never found it quite as easy to use simply by itself. Think of it as buying leaf from Denette where a good majority of batches are a nice clean fine grind and rarely has many visual bones present, and adding stem and vein to make it more coarse in appearance like say the leaf Sosa used to provide.
Anyways though, I recommend some s&v from Mitraman as he just got a batch in recently and it's promising for this regimen. I only do this on the weekends cause I can't sacrifice stellar burns that hold me up at work. One of these days I may actually run this batch alone to see how it holds up by itself.
