sorry - you were quick. i deleted the part about "insulting and absurd". Mentioning this here so that your comment makes sense. but i certainly didn't accuse you of lying. What i said was that you can't conclude from your own experience with coffee that withdrawal symptoms from it are worse than from kratom in the general case. I never questioned your own experience, and i don't question the experience of people who have had no symptoms at all when stopping kratom use.

I'm not sure of the relevance of that quote. Maybe you haven't had coffee this morning?

My take on the reason that the ban failed is that not everyone suffers physical addiction (mostly because of dosage), the symptoms aren't nearly as severe as opioids, etc, and also that so many people are helped by it. the weight of the evidence is positive - it helps far more people than it hurts, and even most who have some physical addiction are helped more than they are hurt.

Well said there... Moderate dosage is Key - for just about everything ? Most of us can enjoy a glass of wine, a beer or 2, Espresso coffee, or an Ice Cream cone - without going crazy binging or stuffing our faces or drinking until we drop dead.... Many "good" things are habit forming or addictive in different ways - White Sugar being maybe the most common physical addiction and difficult to "kick" (with zero "food value") - Yet in USA it's enjoyed around holidays - with many considering new GLP-1 agonist class of drugs for weight loss...

Smoking Tobacco being the 1 thing, you don't really enjoy "now and then". You're either a smoker or not. Took me like 5 years to quit the cig habit

The reason why the ban failed is that despite their poisoning the well and floating all of those bullshit stories to the media and thus to the population WITH EASE, when it came time to PROVE that it was illegal, there was less than zero proof.that it was truly dangerous and all of their propaganda was complete garbage.

You REALLY think they give a shit about addictive qualities? Cigarettes kill gazillions every single year. They are addictive as FUCK. I have been cigarette free for almost three years now and sometimes it's EXCRUCIATING. STILL all I can think to do is smoke a cigarette. I always stop myself, but I can't stop that thought. Despite this, I can go get a carton right now.

Cigarettes show you that a. They don't care if a product is illegal if you pay them enough and b. the Drug War is complete bullshit.

I’d push back on that slightly. I’ve read stories from parents of kids dying from it. It’s just dismissed. “He was probably taking something else” there’s been no proof either way imo. Right now, all my savings bet that someone has or hasn’t died from it, I wouldn’t bet. I don’t think anyone has but I’m not positive enough to risk my future on it. Plus, I fall into the google hole a lot. People have died from too much water, coffee, honey, tuna, beans, spinach (oxylates causing kidney damage).,.it’d be really bold to say NOONE has died from kratom

I will be honest, mostly wd's depend on how healthy you are. i eat fast food and kratom, its meh or ok burn, we all know fast food is filled with nasty even after 5 years it never molds. wtf are you doing eating it, cause it advertised on tv zesty and dripping wet hamburger you have to get it? Just be aware what you consumE AND if couch potato decide to take a walk at least, if you work out you will have the best kratom burn, especially if you know whats foods to eat and teas to drink the witdrawel does not exist, if it does very very mild that any idiot can get detracted with a nice tv show and not notice the withdrawals. Also if you purposley consume over 20 grams a day just to get high, your asking for trouble.stick from 2- 6 grams a day and eat good, you wont regret and all the benefits of kratom are there.... It is addictive like sugar and would of been nice if we had katom in all stores, it would reduce a lot of trouble in this world since it keeps you calm and sane from this crazy world. If your very worried addiction especially you have that bad addictive personality, just avoid it all together. I say that cause some people cant control them selfs and will increase the dose into oblivion, i seen posts 100 grams per day??? wtf, are you serious?
