Taking Kratom and Kava?

I've had recent bouts of severe anxiety and stress and used kava lastnight too help out and let me sleep. I was wondering if it's okay to use both kratom and kava at the same time or if anyone has experienced that. I don't take them on top of each other, the way I've been doing it is taking my last kratom dose at 5ish pm. Then dosing the Kava at around 930 to 10pm.. I've only used kava on occasion so don't know a whole lot about how it interacts with stuff. I also was wondering if I can use the kava nightly until I get out of this rut I am in without any issue as far as rebound or withdrawal. Any advice or help is greatly appreciated

This is only my experience, but I’ve been taking both for the past couple months every day and haven’t had any problems. I make a big bottle of kava and kratom together actually and take it to work with me so you shouldn’t have any issues doing that

No issues stacking them outside of gassiness from the kava. I would ideally like to use kava as a means of lowering my kratom usage, as in taking kava at night to relax instead of a red strain.

What I've been doing since I've cut my dosing in half with kratom is 6g morning, 6 gram afternoon, 7.8 gram evening dose, boronguru kava at 930pm and It's helped me sleep through the night.. I was taking close to 30gpd a week ago. Sprinkling l theanine in there occasionally.

How much kava do you all take? Is it a daily thing or just an occasional indulgence?

Im not super experienced w kava but ive taken it and kratom with no problems. I use a heavy kava at night to relax and it works well, sometimes on its own sometimes stacked w kratom. Ease into the stack if ur cautious.

I rarely take kava. The effects vary so much and some extracts are a crapshoot too. Plus the taste is.. really unlikeable. I think the best i have had so far comes from Gourmet Hawaiian Kava, the instant dehydrated juice, not any microgrind. They're pretty often sold out, so keep checking their website.

The owner is sketchy too, not like he'll take your money, just he doesn't respond to email about anything, though on my first order he crammed in a big bag of extra instant and didn't reply when I thanked him. I guess he's busy a lot and doesn't need to establish a relationship with his clientel?

IIRC, a number of Kava users hold it as an article of faith that new users, or anyone coming from a break, needs to use it every day for a couple of weeks before the magic really kicks in. On the one hand that sounds like trippy talk, on the other hand that's similar to what some doctors tell patients when putting them on certain medications.

I say, split the difference, and let's leave it at seeing as possible that a product of nature that is supposed to relax you can have a cumulative effect. I started taking it again, I got a fairly good deal on some Herb Pharm extract in alcohol.
