Gourmet Hawaiian Kava changed name to Gourmet Hawaiian Awa

Post by IndelibleDotInk »

Awa (in Hawaiian, w is pronounced 'v', so it's said 'avah')

They changed the name to reflect the Hawaiian side of it, as they grow in Hawaii and offer Hawaiian strains.

Best awa I have ever had, but pricey.

If you like pouni ono, Shaun (Fused Flora) has great priced traditionally dried and ground 'awa. He only has pouni ono, described as 'heady.' It's really very good, but I'm pretty stuck on the dehydrated juice version of which gourmethawaiianawa sells and is totally fire, more than anywhere else I have tried, including fresh... (I'm sure if i kept trying fresh, I'd get a really good experience, I only tried it once.
