Husband's dad moved to Nebraska when he moved to the states and you're 100% correct! If someone sees our Husker gear or car stickers we get the best reactions haha!

Mainly because there's not many where we live. In Ball Ground (yes I swear...BALL GROUND) GA. Up in the NW corner about an hour or 2 from both Alabama and TN

They're a team but a real one? Lol. Actually we have a huge baseball following here. I just never got into it. The couple games I went to we're pretty cool though.

Use to live almost all my life on portland Lombard street, and drove to college to Washington, then whole family moved south carolina, now i am stuck here. Miss portland and all my friends/cousins! Least kratom makes everything easier.

I permanently relocated to San Antonio, TX for the second and final time in June, 2018. I grew up in the Baltimore suburbs, and last location was about midway between Baltimore and DC. I can't take another winter up there! End stage osteoarthritis! My joints are 10 years older than my actual age

Unfortunately, I must admit that I live in Ohio. About 45m North of Cincinnati. This is not my element and these are not my people. I've lived here for almost 5 years and still find myself feeling culture-shocked and out of place.

I grew up on Maui with my father before moving to San Diego, California (Ocean Beach, to be exact) with my mother, we then moved East to my birthplace in Missouri. I flew the coop and lived on my own for awhile in the area before eventually moving to where I am now to be with my girlfriend of 5 years in May.

I miss the go with the flow attitude. I miss the ocean. I miss the sound of the waves crashing into the shore and the Sea spray in your face as the sun drifts down below the horizon. I'm a Beach boy, I don't care for big cities but I'd still prefer that any day over podunk-lifted-truck-corn-growing-farm-equipment-slowing-down-traffic-and-panic when-it-snows-even-though-it happens-every-year Ohio.

At the end of the day though, I'm happy with her. Wherever that may be-- but for the love of God why did it have to be Ohio?!

Monterey, California. To me it is an unparalleled beauty; not LA, not SF, but a sovereign entity shrouded in fog that is unlike so much of this wretched state. The cost to live here is also seemingly unattainable except for the super-rich or small military population. At $75k, I'm barely scraping by. Still, I was born here, and though I've lived in lots of great places (Vancouver BC, Seattle, LA, Berkeley), this is where I want to remain. If there are any other 831 residents who want to meet up for coffee, trade strains etc.. pm me.

I guess I should mention Oklahoma city too,lived out there 17 years before moving back to missouri, ,I hated it, ,flat terrain, ,lots of tornadoes, ,actually 4 years after moving back,,a tornado ripped through Moore Oklahoma, the subdivision and school where we lived were dead in the path, ,my kids were born out there,grew up, ,it was like their past was completely wiped out,,
