Long time lurker over on /r but never posted. I learned a lot and found many great vendors/strains thanks to those forums...before they went to shit. I followed over to this new forum in hopes of more of what made me enjoy the old school community. The sharing of knowledge on this plant, which includes vendors, and strains should be encouraged, not shunned, and banned, which thankfully, doesn't seem to be the case here.
Anyways, enough ranting, I wanted to leave a quick review for a vendor I found from this forum, Malaka Kratom. When I saw the deal they had(have?) running, which was 5 kilos for ~235$ shipped from Indonesia, I was excited by the price, but worried about getting something delivered from overseas, especially when the dea has been a pos. I decided to take the risk and reached out to their chat at the website, and inquired about the signature pack deal, and selected 5 strains(White Malaka, Premium Malaka, Gold Malaka, Red Horn Malaka, and a Red Malaka), I made my payment on May 23rd. This whole process was super smooth, and the customer service was quick and attentive. I received tracking through POS Indonesia on May 24th, and I had it in my hands May 31. I was blown away at the speed of delivery, especially with the holiday weekend messing with the USPS. The package was intact and very secure/discreet. It had MSDS labels and everything else needed to help it zip through customs. Very impressed. Ferdinand emailed my on June 1 to make sure I had received everything and that I was satisfied. Nice to have that extra attention to my business.
And here is my very unprofessional review of a few of the strains - I took 4g of the Red Horn on Friday night after work, nice and light sedative effects, decent pain relief. Found myself dozing off to the baseball game on TV more than usual. Slept well that night. Definitely a nice night time strain. Took 4.5g of the Premium on Saturday morning, felt a nice mood boost, good focus/energy for a few hours while working in the shop. Got super hot and almost queasy after a few hours, but I hadnt eaten that morning, and took a larger than normal tester dose, so who knows. Havent tried it since, but I will. Took it down a bit this morning with 3g of the White, and went down to catch a ballgame. It was just enough to take the typical edge off the anxiety I get from crowds. It allowed me to focus on and enjoy the game without having to get drunk to zone out, which was very nice and welcome. I haven't tried the Gold or Red yet, but if they're anything like the other strains from them, I'm sure they will be great. Great vendor, great product, definitely recommend. Thanks!
