Texas Family Harvest Review(KappinKrater)

Post by KappinKrater »

Kap here,

I was fortunate enough to be considered for testing and man let me tell you. This is the highlight of my kratom career. Great customer service, Chris knows his stuff and since I’m just a few towns over shipping took 1 day. Let’s get on with these marvelous strains that TFH has blessed me with.

30 Yr Wild TFH

The holy grail. Reading all the reviews before I took it I was so excited to try this strain. I started with a 4 gram dose and within 20 minutes I already felt my anxiety totally wipe away and I got a warm fuzzy feeling all over. I was energized, overall incredible mood boost and pain relief. I don’t know if this strain is a red or green but I know for sure that it’s definitely some of the best leaf I’ve ever tried. Easily 10/10

Wild yellow TFH

I took this strain probably around 8 am and I loved every bit of it. Great pain relief and sedation. By 10 o’clock I was honestly ready to go right back to sleep. Wasn’t bitter at all. I would definitely say this is a night time strain but I can see myself mixing this with a fast white. It was pretty slow but I love slow strains. It’s something about the slow onset and then BAM! Effects  Right now this is my favorite yellow hands down . 9/10

Wild White Vietnam - A13

This is a very potent white guys. Normally I take about 6.5 grams but I had to cut down to 3.3 grams and I still had an amazing burn. Loads of energy, talkative, great mood boost and even pain relief. I work at a restaurant so right before I go in I dosed this and it was no turning back. I was flying all over the restaurant. I even took 2 more grams just to see what would happen and no nausea or wobbles or anything. Truly an amazing strain 9/10

With that being said I don’t want to go to another vendor now. The customer service and quality product that TFH has is unmatched. I feel so special that I was chosen to sample such a wonderful product. Ive been taking kratom for about 10 months nows, and this is definitely the best kratom I’ve had in my 10 months experience . Thanks TFH!!!

Great stuff Kap, thanks so much for sharing! I have to agree on the Wild Yellow TFH - for some reason that one and the Green TFH really work well for me.

We appreciate your help with testing, we hope you enjoyed!

Hi Texas,

How do you get chosen to be a test subject, lol. I've been enjoying K-toms benefits since 2014 and have tried all the "winners" and I just can't get these posts about your awesome harvest outta my head! I would have to say, over the years, my biggest qualms have been regarding consistency of greens from same distributor, same strain and even sometimes same batch. I know everyone's metabolic make-up is different and some work for others while some don't, but I look forward to finding a product that works for me, consistently from the same distributor.

Anyway, best of luck on your journey and much appreciation for your decision to take it slow due to your desire to provide the best product and service that you can! Caps off to you!!

Heyy Oliviasan - Welcome to Double M and thanks so much for the supportive words! I always love to hear feedback from old-school veterans of the leaf, we would love to have you test sometime. You can apply by following the instructions in our posting in the general section called "Free Kratom".

You may also get an opportunity to try our leaf sooner - another posting we read earlier today has inspired my wife and I to see if we can create some way for everyone who is a member of this community a chance to sample some of our goods. Stay tuned - we will probably announce whatever we come up with inside the Vendor Announcement section.

Thanks and we hope you stay around here awhile. There are plenty of great vendors to choose from on this forum, check them out!

Welcome to Kappin krater (10 months), and also Oliviasan ( 65 months? ) New member with 5+ years experience! :geek:

Just a reminder there's a lotta Lurkers on MM .. right now, we've got 2113 Members. Figure a couple 1000, who lurk but haven't signed up yet - We had 1485 online, at the same time, on Aug 20, 2019. ( Still a long way from Reddit r/kratom now > 80,000 kratomites.) So Kappin' only wants TFH now... NO other vendors. Anyone else?

I used to work in Sales & Marketing. There is a Sales technique called the "Take Away".. people always WANT, what they can't have! Human Nature.. You can't have this! Oh now you're ready to BUY ?? lol
  • Who gets to Buy, the limited Supply from TFH?
  • What if all 2000 Members here, now want TFH leaf for the holidays?
  • Where does the Line start.. What are the Rules.. Who is 1st in line?
Banned on Reddit: KratomVendors is now on SAIDIT!
Please check out my current Auctions/ Sales on MM Trading Post! I'm also on MeWe/ Saidit/ Reddit. Thanks!

My apologies to Kappin and Oliviasan - I only saw how many posts you made. Lesson learned

I dont know what to say about your marketing theory Ballz. I care about what this specific community thinks about what we are doing - Im open to feedback if people think its best we request people to keep our dealings private. We have intentionally set up our feedback process via a private online survey and have always reinforced that there is no need for public comment. Any suggestions would be welcome.

My wife and I want a way to do something engaging with this specific community sometime soon so that people dont feel we are just this elitist group or something. Maybe opening our doors for a holiday weekend or something? More give aways? I dont know, I would love ideas.

the whole point i feel is to not compromise the quality by having a revolving door of unlimited customers ... do some of us wish we had access to TFH kratom? Absolutely... what I truly respect is that their business model reflects their endeavor ... to have consistently high quality kratom .... ! not one individual vendor could supply all of the folks who take kratom in the USA, TFH is upfront about the fact they are not able to have a unlimited customer base because they don’t want to sell inferior product as a result of trying to meet the masses....
the cool thing is that they do their surveys which gives folks a experience of trying what they have , helping TFH keep the quality high from all the info/surveys taken ... perhaps they will accept new members in the future ...for now I see the approach they take as being very honorable and with the best of intentions ... not an elitist group , but a small family company keeping the eye the prize .. best quality that they can source ... Ofcourse they can’t sell to everyone ... it’s a micro brew comparison, smaller brewery’s have higher quality beer , the mass produced .. while some is still decent , can’t compete with the small batch production... just my thoughts ... I’m stoked to have been a tester , and happy to know there’s folks who won’t compromise quality over gain of $ ...

Exceptionally well stated, "Somethingsacred!" I haven't had much time to weigh in on this subject but I've been wanting
to. You must have been reading my mind because what you said is essentially exactly what I was thinking!

I've had the privilege and the pleasure of doing four or five test batches of TFH leaf and I've found the great majority
of those test batches to be of consistently exceptional quality. I've exchanged several emails with Gumby and his main
concern is offering a high quality product and exemplary customer service...QUALITY, not quantity. When, or if, he opens
up to taking on more customers, he's indicated that DoubleM members will get first dibs on becoming members of his
"kratom family" and I think he's indicated as such here on DoubleM.

Anyway, I for one, really enjoy AND appreciate the opportunity to test TFH leaf and I think those of us that have had
that opportunity feel the same!

I concur with Somethingsacred's & InstantKarma's comments. It is a privilege to have the opportunity to provide feedback on products from a company that is working to improve the quality as well as the service that TFH provides to it's clientele. I find it rewarding to read the detailed information that Gumbyke provides to our group and feel good in the thought that I had participated in providing a small piece of the data used to make one or two of the conclusions. There is so little known about this magical leaf and what can be done to improve it's quality. I feel that TFH is a pioneer in this endeavor and it is an honor to be selected as a tester and to provide my personal perspective with each sample.

The membership size and selectiveness demonstrates TFH's commitment to quality and service for its members in my opinion. It's not just a bunch of talk.

It can be stressful and frustrating for both the vendor and the customer when product is made available sporadically and of varying quality to anyone and everyone. Then It becomes a race to snatch up what you can as quickly as you can before it sells out. I've gone through this craziness more times than I care to remember and it is frustrating after a few unsuccessful attempts. The selective membership process is a way to avoid this and I personally would find value in it.

Keep on following, contributing and applying for membership. im confident that eventually new customers will be selected. Just my two cents.

I just want to add I agree 100% with what everyone else is saying.

Gumbyke goes above and beyond, and getting to test his samples is like getting Christmas presents!! And he is very generous with his test samples, and the survey literally takes 1-2 minutes to fill out. Some of the best leaf I have EVER TRIED has come from his test samples.

That's the literal ONE strain that affected me strangely. It made me agitated and quite grumpy. However, that day was grumpy and agitating in general. Our concrete was FIVE hours late and we had to finish a slab in the dark. It was Thursday and I didnt have money for dinner. Maybe i should try it again on a more even-keel day. One of my coworkers was messing with me as usual, and I was getting feelings like I wanted to attack.him. That's not even like me. Again, bad day to try a new strain I guess.
