I use a cream with CBD on my knee and I find it works. I also put it on any aches and pains and it soothes them better than the regular creams i have tried. It took me a while to find the right CBD cream as many of them are not the right type of CBD, at least that was my experience.
Someone at my yoga studio recommended a company and i tried their cream and it really worked. More expensive than the others i tried but I only use a small dab on the most pain, then use a regular cream on a larger area.

Seriously. There have been random tests, of CBD products - sold in a particular market. They went around town, bought 20 different CBD products.. Some grocery stores sell it now. Kroger a large national supermarket chain.. Sells CBD, at least in my town. Cannabis dispensary's, "Pot Shops" of course.. but it's sold online too. Anyway... they TESTED 20 different CBD products. What did they find??

All Over the Map. Some was complete bunk..Some was super strong.. MANY of the supposedly CBD products.. also had some illegal THC. This iirc was done in a cannabis legal West Coast market. I would bet .. IF you ran the same test, in a non Legal market.. you'd get much worse quality ?? The best CBD products I've seen, are manufactured by Legal cannabis companies (use Co2 supercritical extract) and, they sell a variety of CBD - WITH the exact # and concentration of both THC and CBD, listed on the package.

Personally I really enjoy combo products, 1:1 gummies are yummy!

Yes!!! - Gummies are Yummy I take one of those with 25mg of CBD and minimal THC, really knocks out any pain/edginess for me.
i did try one that had 10mg CBD and 5mg THC and was feeling pretty high ( i am a lightweight) even felt the old paranoia rising (reason i gave up years ago) Seems to meld well with a slow kratom and I really enjoy meditating with it, allows me to forget my older achy body

I'm a CBD newbie, mostly recreational user.
My experience so far:

Pros: Stress reduction, relaxation, mood elevation, pain relief (back aches from sitting too long, stiff neck) Sleep aid/enhancer - for me this is the best/biggest benefit so far. I struggle with insomnia and getting up in the middle of the night. Since I've been taking CBD, I've slept very soundly and woken up refreshed.

Cons: Expensive. Maybe an expert could help me understand the crazy prices.
Dehydration - occasional cotton mouth and other symptoms, like dark yellow urine.
Effects variation - sometimes a daytime serving will give me brain fog and send me back to bed. Therefore, I take mostly at night.

Conclusion: I'm a CBD newbie because I was skeptical about the hype. Now that I've tried it, I can see that it belongs in my supplement mix.
Although, if I lived in a state with legal weed, I probably wouldn't bother!

I've been a cannabis smoker for almost 20 years. I have never actually tried the oil or tinctures as of yet, but this past winter I found out about hemp flowers. Looks, smells and taste just like traditional marijuana, but the dominate chemical compound is CBD. Without THC (by law, less than .3% total delta-9-THC), it produces none of the powerful psychoactive effects normally associated with marijuana. I feel like I have found what I have been searching for out of cannabis without the negative side effects. None of the "high" feelings at the beginning. None of the brain fog, tiredness and general burnt out "stoned" after effects. None of the paranoia and over abundant, and often critical, self-reflective thought. But it does a wonderful job at easing the mind, relaxing the body and generally just creating a chill vibe. Perfect for stress relief and still being able to go out and function, go to work, be social. You also still get the different indica vs sativa effects - body or head high, get up and go or chill and watch a movie. On top of all that it's legal in all 50 states and you can buy it on the internet. Currently the market is super saturated with nicely grown and cheap flowers (the r/hempflowers sub-reddit has tons of great vendor reviews and info). I have't smoked traditional THC oriented weed in months. I feel more productive and present in life, but still have a wonderful plant to aid in a happy and pleasant sense of self. Can go great with kratom as well. Nice to add it on top from time to time.

Funny you should ask, I recently just had to deal with that. Technically, no there should be no risk, its legal and approved to be shipped. There have been multiple lawsuits won by hemp farmers to ensure there right to ship a legal product. But in the end, it looks and smells just like the illegal version. All packages from reputable vendors come with the lab report (required by law to ensure no THC) along with a letter to Law Enforcement basically stating "yes this looks like something illegal but it is not because of the farm bill in 2018 that made it legal." Well, about a month ago I had an ounce of hemp flowers get caught up by the my postman and seized by the postal inspector. The vendor I bought it from just had to call and verify there registration with the Department of Agriculture and it was eventually released. All's well that ends well, but I was sure shitting bricks for a few days!

As appealing as it sounds, I'm hesitant to deal with suspicious neighbors who'll report the smell, and I'm not too keen on smoking anything, and cooking with mj, nah.

Have you tried any CBD extracts which worked as good as hempflower? For my restless legs I'd try oral and topical.

OK, but controlling your dose of THC, is like any other substance; many of those negative effects are the result of overdose.. and it's very easy to OD "smoking weed", like ingesting a huge dose without using a scale ? Try a good Cannabis Syrup made of live resin full spectrum with terpenes and all.. One bottle of Hush Sizzurp contains 1000 mg THC. Says on the bottle 1 serving = 1 Teaspoon? To me that's crazy. I add 1/8 Tsp to my kratom serving, and enjoy all the good "high" head space, with no paranoia or stoned out vibe... CBD

Does anyone here use a dry herb vaporizer? Weed is still not legal in any way in North Carolina but Hemp CBD Flower is really great for sleep and also helps dull pain well. CBD is sold in so many places now-a-days, even CVS, but hard to find something that truly works. And CBD flower for sure works. I get my mine from FieldofHemp. They are a company in Oregon. It's great, but my one complaint is it is harsh. Not too bad, but I have read vaping reduces the harshness and also that dry herb vaping cbd flower makes it taste better.

My question is about a Dry herb vaporize that my parents could use? Something easy and portable. I've checked the reddit vape forum and found some choices but wanted to ask if anyone has personal experience use a vape for dry herb flower? It seems to get a quality dry herb vape will cost over $100 but I am okay with $100-200 range as from reading reviews and research quality really matters in dry herb vaporizers. I'd rather spend more on a quality one now that will last and work well than buy something that will not be a good experience or break in a month or two. Also looking for a smooth smoke that reduces how harsh smoking can often be.

But to get back to this threat, hemp CBD is legal in all 50 states, does not get your high, and really helps for easing minor aches and muscle strain and is GREAT for sleeping. Me and my parents use it often, but dry herb cdb flower is the only cbd that has worked in my experience. Now I'm on the hunt for a good vaporize for the flower

I picked up a Pax 2 a few years ago when it first came out and like it. Way better than combustion as far as taste and odor, and it's much healthier. I did a lot of research before purchasing and it was hands down the most portable and discreet at the time.

There are some downsides. It uses conduction so it heats the metal bowl and that in turn heats the material you vape. That causes the some uneven heating of the material but I usually just stir up th bowl every few uses to keep it mixed. There are convection vapes that avoid this issue, but those types tend to be bulkier.

Next is that it works best if the material is very finely ground. Not a problem for me, but might be a for others.

I did have an issue where the on/off button eventually got hard to push after a couple of years. I contacted their support and after a few questions they sent me a new one free and they paid priority shipping.

Hard to answer the question about your parents. There are no visible buttons, only the hidden on/off switch which also doubles as the temperature adjustment. There are four small "leafs" that light up to give feedback when adjusting temperature. If you shake it the number of leafs lit up indicate how much charge is left. For me it's a cool sexy design, but I can see where some might prefer a different design. Don't know how old your parents are but I'm pushing 60.

The Pax 3 has been out for a while but they still sell the 2 for around $150. Occasionally they run sales where it's a bit cheaper and there are coupon codes out there.

4 days before the quarantine I decided to run in and get a little - THAT was a bit of luck. But I hate smoking it the old fashioned way. REALLY hate it. Have been looking for a bud vaping pen. Just wanted to say thanks so much for the detailed response and breakdown. I saw Pax suggested in the research I did.

One I was looking at is the Arizer Solo 2. This https://www.planetofthevapes.com/collec ... vaporizers is the website that was linked on the vaporents subreddit as being a good place to buy from (but I have no honest idea how vendors are suggested in those reddit forums). The Pax 2 is right there on that page also. Don't know how much different they are.

My dad is 67 and my mom 60. I wanted something very basic and easy to use for them. Where all they have to do is throw some bud into a small bowl on the vape and push a button to heat it and good to go. Something that doesn't have to be smoked all in one session but as they want (I was reading about vaping sessions and some vapes are better for smoking in one session while others can be turn on and off and used for few hits here and few hits there. Def a small learning curve)

Flavor and smooth hits is the other big thing I'm looking for my parents. We use hemp cbd flower and its great but in a joint or bowl can be harsh.

I don't mean to get into your business Indelible; do you consume any alcoholic beverages at all? My mom had truly awful RLS all of her life. After she gave up her one-two glasses of wine a night it got a great deal better.
I didn't inherit that, but I have so many problems when drinking alcohol that it just isn't worth the trouble anymore. This makes me sad because I do love a good whiskey.

I think part of the problem was a lack of exercise - I'm not sedentary, but in the past few days I've walked around our parking lot with my mom, used my Nordic walking poles, and have not had RLS for those days. I used to go to the gym almost every day a couple of years ago, but we moved a few times and I let my membership lapse as I focused on my mental health recovery (which includes some exercise, but not as much as i like).

Small doses of kratom also help the RLS but I have to be careful not to go chasing the buzz.

When the production of hemp was made legal by the 2018 Farm Bill, the health market was and continues to be flooded with cannabis-based products.
While here at PureKana, we sell 3rd-party verified CBD oil, you may have seen other retailers selling hemp oil and wonder if they’re the same thing.
They’re NOT - and as a consumer, it’s important you know the difference. So today, we’re going to clear it up, once and for all!
Difference #1 CBD oil and hemp oil are extracted from separate parts of the same plant
Hemp oil is sometimes called hemp seed oil because it comes from the seeds of the hemp plant, whereas, CBD is extracted from the leaves, flowers and stalks.
Difference #2 *MOST IMPORTANT* Hemp oil contains no CBD or any other cannabinoid

Don’t be fooled
Both products are perfectly safe to use BUT if you’re under the illusion you’re getting something you’re not, then you’re just wasting your money.
Some retailers deceive customers by suggesting their hemp oil contains CBD in order to charge a higher price. If you search on Amazon or eBay for CBD oil, you’ll see many products called hemp oil, hemp seed oil and even CBD oil. But it’s likely all hemp oil.
Selling CBD is actually forbidden on both Amazon and eBay.

I have read it helps and also helps in flavor and makes more effective but looking for any feedback from users here if anyone has experience? I purchased Legal Hemp Flower from Benni Botanicals and they are really nice sticky buds. Amazing Quality and shipped discreetly with a legality letter...just in-case.
I smoke them in my wifes 80's Big Blue Bong, thru the water it really cools down the harshness, though toking an eighties bong is not convenient or discreet

Well I just tried some last night in the form of delta8thc edibles from snapdragon. Let me tell you I'm absolutely blown away. I've always liked the feeling of marijuana but I was always plagued with anxiety/fast heart rate/paranoia, which made even talking to people difficult while under the influence. This stuff is going to be huge I took it last night and it was 6 hours of bliss absolutely no anxiety fast heart rate or paranoia AT ALL. I took around 30mg from one of snap dragons indica honey sticks. Seems like they're making all sorts of products like edibles,vape carts, wax type concentrates, even moon rocks using hemp buds covered in delta-8-thc extract. They also seem to be selling pure delta8thc isolate in bulk. I was heavily stoned for 6 or 7 hours with no negative effects(not even a hangover) I give this stuff 10/10 this might be a new favorite for me. Glad I found this 100% worth the money haven't tried mixing it with kratom yet I will eventually though.

So far snapdragon hemp has been a great company just ordered more from them will be trying their moonrocks soon. I'm new to delta8 as well so I'm sure there are many other vendors that sell great product for possibly cheaper. There's a r/delta8 subreddit that has a lot of information on current vendors I'd recommend taking a look over there as well. I also like eight horses hemp! I dry herb vape with the dynavap. Truly a game changer, the smell is almost eliminated! I've burned down in some pretty sketchy places It's amazing! It is more efficient too. Tokn is another good vendor.

Was there a specific vendor(s) that you’d recommend delta8thc from? I’ve been looking at CBD since many Kratom vendors also sell it, wasn’t sure how potent or worthwhile the gummies would be. Thanks for any suggestions!

So far snapdragon hemp has been a great company just ordered more from them will be trying their moonrocks soon. I'm new to delta8 as well so I'm sure there are many other vendors that sell great product for possibly cheaper. There's a r/delta8 subreddit that has a lot of information on current vendors I'd recommend taking a look over there as well. Going to have to try the Delta 8 stuff! Edibles are generally too much for me because they last so long so I'm going to shop around for something I can smoke. I don't have a vaporizer and I smoke weed roughly 1 time a year so this is probably the way to go, haha. Thanks for the recommendation!

I hear that, I just want to get good quality CBD to occasionally smoke or if the gummies are good try those. Kats seems to be a reputable place, not sure how many gummies would do the trick, gotta do some more research.
