Does anyone know what's going on?

Since everybody has been waiting to spill the beans, I’ll step up. Kratom is not legally being allowed into the country until further notice. Those who claim otherwise are deceiving you. The FDA has now forced all companies to smuggle rather than import legally.

In addition, all incoming shipments have halted and prices are about to skyrocket. We can lay down and let vulnerable people suffer, or we can fight it. Contact your reps and tell them about what the FDA is doing, how their irresponsible actions are affecting your life. Demand an answer. We’re a step away from a complete kratom outage. This is not fear-mongering. Time is legitimately up. All but the biggest companies will be out of stock within a week or two, and the big guys will have increasingly lower quality product for a month or so until running dry.

If you’re not mad, you should be. We’re on the cusp of watching hundreds of thousands revert back to heroin, pain killers, and fentanyl - all because the FDA hasn’t the faintest clue what real people suffer through. If this doesn’t clear up quick, the next few years will be filled with ever-increasing opiate genocide by big pharma. Real people and their real families will suffer because of this massive judgement error by the FDA.

The only good news I have is that science is on our side. It always has been. Addiction specialists and researchers throughout the country have voiced their support of kratom. Many of the most skeptical have shaped their views to conform with increasingly convincing evidence. Kratom studies are showing promise we could have only dreamt of years ago. But, it’s all for naught if it’s blocked from entering our dying country.

Whether you’re making soap or fighting crippling chronic pain, you have the right to kratom. Fight for your ability to choose. Fight for those who are weaker than you. I’ll give you two easy ways to make this happen: first, contact your representatives. This is crucial, we are in a tight spot where only government can stop government. Second, share this. We need to get this information out TODAY. Make no mistake, we will not win without your help.

Just to clarify. Its been banned for import by the fda for a few years now....
The only past legal way was to mail it in. The Indonesia Mail POS its like our USPS. They stopped shipping kratom. I can explain more if needed as to why. Later on that.

The only way now is to smuggle it. Now the only issue is you have hundreds of people smuggling, maybe thousands now. Previous it was a good dozen people. Well customs and UPS, Fedex, Dhl they will figure it out. QUICK. They will flag all shipments from Indonesia just like all shipments from Columbia are flagged for further inspection. They will see the OBVIOUS kratom boxes (supplies you know what im saying) And seize. They are already seizing. Its a wrap.

Everyone says well cargo will work, or my big name vendor will figure it out. Well i hate to tell you. Super High odds its over. Expect 100% sure Pricing doubling all around. Expect MANY MANY vendors to go out of business. Expect only a few of the most experienced smugglers to continue shipping and trying. Sea container is probably the safest way in and your talking 80k-$100,000 to send a full container. Thats 100k that can get seized, that might get seized. Thats very likely to get seized if the country of origin is Indonesia....

I doubt POS is going to find a solution they owe the airlines money anyways. So finding someone to ship kratom is hard enough, previous track history of failure to pay seals the deal.

When? I was on FB yesterday.. I'm on the popular kratom groups, and RVA group, and SoCal's group. Never saw this

Yes, there is some shit goin' down BUT.. from what I saw, it's being worked out. The BIG bulk vendors are on it.. was on MeWe and I am in contact with several Indo's. They are working on their end, on POS Indonesia shipping. This IS a big business for them.

Hey, Joel's a nice guy but he's pretty small potatoes as a vendor. He's had good kratom, for sure.. He's also got good intentions. I do believe that!

It was posted today in Mitra hangout, but he was flat out wrong, which is why it was deleted I assume. What Justin posted is accurate, basically, Indonesian postal system is too incompetent to deal with all the kratom and China air will no longer transfer kratom because it is illegal in Taipei (Taiwan) I guess they were using it as a transhipment point. There is a huge backlog of it in Jakarta right now and the postal system is not issuing refunds for paid shipments and saying they can't ship it anymore and that is the air transportation pipeline for kratom into the US.

I'm thinking they are trying to collect some big bribes.

Didn't they already ban the import last November? Everyone was panic buying, but in the end it had little to no effect on the average consumer. I think we need to look into this some more before we starting sounding the alarm.

They have the import alert, but they are enforcing it as if everyone in the country is on the red list. Postal shipments made it through almost always, which is how most vendors get their product.

It's become a defacto ban, because POS/EMS Indonesia is too incompetent to negotiatiate an air charter, which is as ridiculous as it sounds. Which is why I think they are trying to extort larger bribes from suppliers

Yeah there was an update oct 9 late at night. New letter from POS. Bascially saying they cant find anyone to help them with the kratom and that they are done trying. All Kratom still in Jakarta will be returned. There will not be any refunds issued.

From what i have heard Indonesia POS owes airliners money. This is due to the whole agents thing. Basically they use Agents to fill out the shipping labels and do the paperwork and those agents also get discounts on shipping bulk amounts which they used to get better deals for us. Needless to say a bunch of agents owe Indonesia POS money. Indonesia POS owes airlines. And now Indonesia POS doesnt want to refund anyone probably because they dont have funds. Needless to say it would make sense why no one wants to work with POS because money is money, unless the person you work with is bad with money (POS)

How much the second paragraph is true i cant really say. Ive heard alot of them owing money to airlines. The first part is true i was sent a letter and two indos have pretty much translated the same thing.

... Until such time that a new "deal" is worked out ( payoff/ bribe ) to decide who gets a bigger cut & how much of a price hike

haha just kidding, who really knows ? Guessing this may or may-not be some grand Conspiracy ? Didn't I just see Indo's posting on MeWe yesterday they are shipping through UPS - not POS - and getting small packages through OK, paying a very small up-charge to UPS?

So is this smuggling' thing relatively new? Or the import ban?

I got some BigBang kratom directly from Widi (early this year I think) and it had all kinds of paperwork on the outside of the package. Said 'mitragyna speciosa' right there for anyone to see. That doesn't sound like smuggling to me.

HerbalHippie- yeah your right thats the correct, legal way to import kratom. The way he sent it was with proper documents and labeled correctly as kratom. It was sent through the mail via Indonesia POS. POS is now not allowing kratom shipments to be mailed so no one can send kratom like that anymore.
