Anyone use twitter?

I made a Double M account on Twitter a couple years ago @DoubleMHerbals and haven't done much with it. But I think I'm going to start actively tweeting double m and kratom related news.

Just seeing who has twitter and if anyone wants to exchange follows with us and others in this thread.

I have had 3 accounts banned on twitter for seemingly no reason. Now they require a phone number and identification to even keep an account otherwise they lock the account. Twitter imo is an awful site overall not only is the layout really stupid now but it's not an ideal way of communication which leads to massive misunderstandings/arguments non stop. When you spend insane amounts of time on that website it's absolutely unhealthy to your overall mental health. The only positive thing I can see in using twitter is to see breaking news as quickly as possible. That's about it lol.

You nailed it! I use Twitter for breaking news, primarily. I somehow got a running scroll/ticker across my device screens from the news agencies I follow. It’s really saved me from having to listen to the talking heads to find out wassup these past 8 years or more. Plus I can see what the POTUS is up to 24/7

I also have that same “high security”, but it is appreciated in this case. I forget why it was necessary, but I remember it WAS necessary, lol.

I also follow kratom news on Twitter. Of course.

There are certainly a lot of apps for our choosing these days! Something for everyone...

What handles do you follow for Kratom Twitter action?

All kinds of different ones. Can you pull up who I follow? I think you can, and then look for the kratom related ones, such as The Kratom Guy Show, Mac Haddow, Paul Kemp (they all have similar tweeting usernames). If I recall, it’s a lot easier to pick out interesting usernames of interest from similar - interested users.

I’m not sure what hashtags do, but the #iamkratom hashtag should bring you a lot of followers to choose and then find who they follow and such.

It is a sad state of affairs when you need to preface a Twitter visit with that. However, things feel a bit sad too, so I get it. People are just straight up fucking dumb!!

Thank you for the timely response. I plan a quick jaunt over there today and will gather some Kratom clues.

I'm not really a fan of twitter (or most social media in general) and don't have a personal account. Just thought it may be good to have a twitter presence for the Double M since a lot of sites/companies/groups seem to have a twitter presence these days. If anything, it's a great way to share news and links.

Anyway, was just hoping we could trade follows here if anyone is still interested. Doesn't seem to be many twitter users here.

I signed up for Twitter. After a few days my e-mail blew up. I actually read that DROSS. I have unfollowed the few I followed but they still haunt me - which is appropriate since reading Twitter is like a scene out of THE SIXTH SENSE. Boooo!

I have a question for the twitter-savvy here. I was reading a story about a twitter user who had become quite famous DESPITE the fact that he used a "Burner Account." I have never heard of this. I got an account by using one of my e-mail services since I assumed that was the only way. But I have to admit that I would love to have an account not associated with my real-life identity. It's not that I want to get up to any shennanigans. I'm just very reluctant to participate in a lot of social media because my "family" is always trying to find "dirt" on me - not what you are I would consider 'dirt' but they take everything out of context as well as blowing up any piece of information with extreme hyperbole (they make shit up and then exaggerate it even more).

So, if anyone knows how to acquire a "burner account" I would be grateful for any info.

I would not be surprised if any kratom news soon will be viewed as conservative conspiracy and account get deleted, to be safe, Gab or telegram another twitter like platforms and i think those platforms wont care about kratom stuff, i mean parler.com i heard is about to be back up since amazon shut it down. We all know CNN had bad views on kratom before and i only pray poison your account wont be deleted. Kratom does cut into big pharma pocket so its a matter of time.

All the major social platforms (Facebook, twitter, reddit, etc) are starting to censor and delete things now. While it's their platforms and they're free to do as they wish, it's setting a very dangerous precedent for the future of big tech and the free/open internet as a whole.

Rather than being open platforms where everyone has a voice, which was the founding principle for many of them, they now want to filter and censor the news and information people see and share. They are abusing their power and reach to push their own agendas and political views.

As someone who is very anti-censorship, I'm very close to deleting all my social media accounts, both personal and business - and encouraging my family and friends to do the same. I don't support this behavior, especially from these big companies who should be above this petty BS and shouldn't be political entities in the first place.

I made an account for twitter long time ago, i looked, never understood how it works. forgot password and never used it. have not used or logged into facebook in a long time. Account never deleted just forgotten. I stop using Reddit because i only needed reddit for kratom section, thanks to you posion and this alternative. And i use duck duck go instead google. I tried searching Mike Adams from health rangers and nothing about him, that kinda made switch for good away from it. Since i talked about macca root, its been sold out ever since. I tried like 4 different sources of macca root and nothing close to what health rangers had. I dont know what it is but he sells everything very potent and the only place on earth that tests for heavy metals and other stuff. everyone else dont care about you food wise. I hope one day macca root returns. I think the more people wake up to this none sense censorship the more people will jump the wagon to alternatives.
