Lucky Herbals 122820 Green Hulu

Got another review prepared for Ben over at Lucky Herbals. The green MD really impressed me, so lets dive into the other new green, the green hulu. I have always liked his hulu more than his MD, so this batch has a tall order to impress me.

Speed-Mid/slow. This one is relaxing, but not too relaxing. For sure slower than the Green MD by quite a lot, but still not sedating. This is my favorite kind of green for a chill afternoon at home, or a high anxiety high stress day at work.

Pain-7.5/10. This is comparable to the green MD, but not quite as heavy on the pain relief for me. However, pain wasn't why I loved this strain in the past, but it still stands well against my arthritis. More than satisfactory for a green. I blended with a red and it increased pain relief by quite a bit, so if you're using it for pain, this may be the best way to go for you.

Moodlift-8.75. As usual with the hulu, the moodlift is its shining category for me. This is the most important to me along with anxiety relief, and this is this leaf's specialty. It gives you the warm uplifting blanket feeling of a nice red but without the sedation, making you capable of still being productive while feeling your best. The green MD was a great moodlift, but this one shined here a little more in my opinion. If you're like me and use it for depression/anxiety and you can only pick one strain when you order from him, this would be the one to go for. If you are using for pain relief or energy, look to the green MD.

Anxiety Relief-8.5/10. Another phenomenal category for me. Anxiety is something I struggle severely with, especially at work (I work retail so I'm dealing with people up close and personal all day...you know how the public is. lol) and this strain will be a go to in my rotation for days that I know I'm going to be facing a lot of personal interaction. Not much more I can say here other than this is without a doubt the purpose for this batch.

Legs-7.5/10. The moodlift lasted a solid few hours with a slow come down back to baseline. The anxiety relief hung on for a good 3 hours for me which is awesome. The legs on the moodlift are always short for me unfortunately, so as I said in my previous reviews, YMMV. What I care about is the lasting anxiety relief and this fit the bill.

Overall-8.5. Another stellar batch from Lucky. As I said above, this one is a slower green that shines for anxiety and depression relief. The pain relief is satisfactory, but I would opt for the green MD or a good red if that is what you are looking for. This also blends well with others to bring out the best of your other leaf as well. For depression/anxiety relief, it doesn't get too much better than this. My high rating is based mostly on the moodlift and anxiety relief, as this is what I use it for, so consider that when reading my numbers. I have always loved his green Hulu, and this is no exception. I believe this is the 4th or 5th batch of it I have tried, and it is always consistent for me. This strain without a doubt deserves a spot in your rotation for a day when you just want to be the best relaxed self you can be.
