Kanna??

Hey y’all!

Fellow Kratom devotee, here!
I have tried Kava Kava, and been floored by its potency. I’ve then been reading about fascinating experiences with Kanna. Does anyone have any experience with this substance? Willing to share?
Furthermore, anyone have a trusted vendor?

I looked into trying kanna once, but it has some drug interactions which should be checked beforehand. For one, it's contraindicated in people that take antidepressants/SSRI's. This is because "the alkaloids contained in Kanna include Mesembrine, which has ane dotally been reported to possibly be a potent selective serotonin re-uptake inhibitor (SSRI) with very strong antidepressant effects." Could cause serotonin syndrome, which would be no fun.

Kanna, is nowhere near as strong effects as Kava - which is served in Kava Bars like: Bula Kava House. They sell online too!

Kava is like an herbal drunk. We all know Kratom is fantastic! But Kanna... doesn't do much. There are many, many, herbs (Blue Lotus, etc.) which are sold for money but don't do much.

I know this is an old post that I am replying to, but Kanna doesn't seem to do anything for me at all. Not even enough to give me a hint what it might be like if I could take more (which I couldn't do because I got nauseous).

If someone here has positive Kanna experiences / vendor recommendations, I would love to hear about them.

I guess I would describe it as, ‘it’s nothing to write home about’. The handful of times I tried it, I didn’t love it, and I didn’t hate it. It was just “nice”. I bought Kanna extract, maybe twice, from Phytoextractum….(I know, I know …but I was getting a good deal on some Yerba Mate’, and I really dug their Red Sumatra and Borneo at the time). I always mixed a bit with my Kratom dose, and it seemed to add an extra layer of ‘calm and well-being’.

Since I quit shopping Phyto, I haven’t bought anymore, and I don’t seek it out either.

I’ve never tried Kava, so I can’t compare it to that.

Liftmode kanna fucks you up. I havent enjoyed it in small doses or their recommended dose (which i took and started having a panic attack.) Ive done about every drug in the book. Liftmode kanna is some weird shit.

lmao, just the way you said it. What's it like? Are you back in S America? What the heck do you do down there, anyway? Aside from knowing a girl who's mom was from Brazil, having a Spanish tutor who was from Peru but ethnically Chinese, and watching the movie City of God, I know nothing about S America except the women are beautiful.

Yes liftmode kanna. I snorted a little bit and had to sit in my truck outside walmart for a couple hours. It comes on fast and strong. Than you wish you hadnt taken it. Tried a super small amount same thing. 4 hours of k wish i didnt snort it. Maybe under the tounge is better. Im scared to try it again. Im in central america. Nicaragua. Im a surf guide for a small hotel in the jungle. Help out on a small organic farm.

And to think I used to like geography... thanks for the correction. Sounds like a great gig, and thanks for posting about kanna, I was curious about it for awhile, though the serotonin syndrome part made me stay away.
