Is anybody else having issues with USPS this week?

I have two orders coming from the east coast (I'm on the west coast) from reliable vendors, and they've both been stuck in "pre-shipment" status on the tracking page for days. Meanwhile, both vendors are telling me that they delivered my packages to their respective post offices within 12 hours after I received the "blah blah blah has sent you a package" email.

I understand that there is snow over there right now, and that the weather could be the issue, but wouldn't it still show up as having been received and accepted, even if it hasn't left the facility due to inclement weather..?

Unfortunately, I can't seem to get any answers from USPS without providing the senders addresses, as well as details regarding the contents of the packages. Is anybody else experiencing this problem?

The tracking page said there would be delays, but I'm SW so i didnt look? Figured the fire?
So all pkgs for a given area that aren't going anyway just sit and don't get "launch" scanned until the day they are going out?
I've had it happen before, not kratom, but it was the nearest thing I could come up with?

I had the same problem with them. My Johnson's order sat in awaiting package for a week and just started updating a few days ago. It was supposed to be here yesterday. I got a text update this morning saying it was in Coppell tx for some reason.

I had the same problem. My shipment took 3 days longer to get here than usual. I I live in central Ohio. For some reason my package was in Cleveland for 3 days. My packages never go to Cleveland.

I have a package from DGB via USPS said expected delivery is today, wasn't there. No updates on the tracker yet. Hope that makes you feel a little better.

Oh man I have an order from DG due to be delivered today. Now I'm worried. I don't mind getting it a few days late as long as I do eventually receive it.

I had a package from Mystic scheduled to be delivered today (Saturday) and didn’t come. I’m pretty disappointed. I have ALWAYS received my orders from Mystic in 2 days. Probably over a dozen orders and every one of them 2 days except this one. Tracking says departed distribution center in Wilmington NC on Thursday night (it’s headed to the Atlanta Distribution center about 4 hrs south of there) and nothing more- like it did not get there. Same thing happened a few weeks ago with an order from Christopher’s. Departed from a distribution center in New Jersey and didn’t get scanned again for 4 (business) days.

It’s most likely a combination of the weather and upcoming holidays. The postal system processes a lot of packages this time of year, and mine always take longer in November or December. If it makes anyone feel better, I’ve been having delays on non-kratom packages and mail.

We had a bad snow storm on the east coast on Thursday. So all orders Thursday didnt get scanned until last night. So there is a one day delay due to the storm but tracking is now updated (for most)

Yep...same problem from NC vendor. Got shipping email then it sat at distribution center in Fayetteville for 3 days, now says in transit to next facility so have no idea when it will arrive. Was supposed to be 2 day shipping!

Its seems its common, i supose to get mine by 8pm today, but i am sure because of the snow it will be 1-3 more days. just give 3 more days before worry.

I just want everyone to give 3 extra days, i found out my family members ordered random stuff and it is also not here on time, i think its just time of the year, cold, snow, and what ever problems are, slows the shipment times. Because i didn't get my stuff today as well... I will reply how late it will come here. I am sure might be here on Monday or Tuesday. Since Sunday everything stays put.

Mine showed up in Atlanta last night. They occasionally deliver packages on Sunday here. Hopefully I’ll get it today or tomorrow.

Maybe it's different where you are, afaik USPS only delivers Priority Express on Sundays. Regular Priority will be postponed to Monday. Though perhaps it varies by region.

Maybe it is only Priority Express that delivers on Sunday. I knew I had received a package once on a Sunday and it came USPS. That package may have been shipped “Priority Express”. Anyway, my Mystic package arrived on Monday, so the delays are minimal at least in places unaffected by the weather.

May be hard finding anything to order. I Squeaked in a couple small orders early this morning from Mystic and Smiley, but a lot of vendors are just about wiped out. Still haven’t got my invoice from Mystic so I don’t know if that one will actually get filled or not.

I found this useful site that reports current outages and problems with USPS. There's also a color coded outage map of areas with the most issues. Right now, the most affected areas are the northeast, Florida, Texas, and California (the wildfires, for one.)
