Web Hosting is CHEAP - So they leave their website up, 3 years, for what it costs them, $5 bucks a Month ? Then come back HERE expecting to pump the good ole' Double MM Money Machine again ?? lol

You can ask about certain batches of their tea powder, what the smell is like, is it calming/soothing, should I do a deep soak or make candles? We don't want our legit vendors to have any problems. Some vendors do sell for human consumption, so you can be more specific with them, but still need to respect their rules.

And the reason we have DoubleM is so we can compare notes on the various batches. So try to find people who like the same batches and vendors as you do.

And even if you had access to all the vendors, not all batches will hit for you, it's the fickle, fickle leaf which likes to play games with us.

Absolutely i guarantee these other vendors i tried have at least one i like its just a matter of find it. I live next to fisher tea co and we ride dirt bikes together so ive been using him since 2018. I just need a change so I'm literally searching for the best white and green i can find now. I cant quit ordering. I haven't found a better or equal white than his until today okies is hitting hard!

Oakies and Oties.

I didn't know there was an Oakies until a few weeks ago, but they are getting some positive buzz.

Oties is named after their dog and they have some good kratom, plus were one of the few offering a vet/disability discount.

My suggestion, and I still do this, is buy a sampler from one of the vendors. Not all of them offer this, so you may want to put an In Search Of Mystic Island Red Vampire [batch date] [at least 200g] or something like that.

Yes they may have had some negative reviews once the infamous supplier problem came about, but before that they had tons of positive and glowing reviews.

To the best of my knowledge, that particular supplier issue has been fixed. They went back to drawing board, got a new supplier, and want to give it another shot. That's why I gave them the green light to post here. It's my call. I'm going to give them the chance to make up for past supplier issues due their otherwise good history.

Sounds like they also have a good history outside the error on the supplier. We are all human, we all make mistakes. Super cool they can learn from it and try to prove themselves again since they did so much for MM in the beginning. I'll be sure to give a fair review since I'm new here.

There was a time period where we were getting a lot of negative reviews on a specific batch of Phatcracker for a period of a month, a little longer, but if you keep going in time there are positive reviews that are being made. We got out of that kratom and moved on. At some point around that time we had run low on our original supplier and had to order from another Indonesian which is where that problem stemmed from. We also lost a shipment and had to get a domestic load from California, but now we are back in stock 100% with our regular kratom supplier with plenty of fresh stock received in Feb and more to come. We understand how these past events would cause someone to use caution when considering if they should purchase from our company. This is why we are giving away kilos worth of samples every single month that we are on this forum, to prevent that from ever happening again and hopefully preventing Ballz from doing what he just did which is aside from pulling the reviews from the past, which I may add, conveniently left out all the positive reviews, left out how he went after people who came to our defense. He called us the "worst vendor", I do not see how that is even close to being an honorable statement. We are the "worst vendor" because we hit a bad stretch in some boxes? Every customer that contacted us was either refunded or we replaced their product. If we were not contacted by someone who was unhappy, we apologize for that inconvenience. I pride myself on doing everything I can to make sure that the customer is taken care of and has had a satisfactory experience. Why would I do otherwise, thats bad business and its not who I am as a person. All we ask is that if someone is going to review our kratom at least keep it all the way honest and try to refrain from exaggerations, however I am not sure he was exaggerating. Monkey poo, completely false. I can see how there would be stems I can see how the other items made it into the kratom, there is a thread on here that talks about people getting strange things inside their kratom from many vendors. It happens, but to add monkey poo to the list is quite unnecessary.

I left this forum because I decided it was not worth my energy to try and go up against someone who always had negative things to say about us. At one point it was said that we got our kratom off of random tarps throughout Indonesia, and people believed him. One of the main reasons that I decided to come back and offer those free samples every month was because I knew that when I showed up this is what would happen. Therefore I made it so that just about everyone who purchased our product would know what it is they are getting before they bought it. How can we argue against that? I am not asking for anything in return, no reviews, no purchases, nothing. This is where we started once we came over from r/kratomm and I wanted to give back in the best way I could. We started with giveaways on the original sub and wanted to continue, especially since times may be a little tight for some. We understand that there are times when we have to give.

I have nothing but positivity for everyone, I do not have hard feelings against anyone. I just want things that are said about us to be within reason without being over the top for dramatic effect. If there is a problem contact us and we will handle it, understand that these things happen. This time we are not going anywhere and we will be continuing to do giveaways as far as samples are concerned as well as many other style giveaways and pretty solid promotions. I appreciate all those who took the time to read this and look at it objectively.

I hope people educate themselves about everything. it's always a good idea to do just some basic searching about a vendor, whether it's here or reddit.
(any claims of monkey poo should be safely dismissed as inaccurate. not even sure how someone would know what sort of poo it would be...you know, I'm not going to overthink that one)
just do your own research, make the decision for yourself.

they have a lot of good reviews too, depending on when you look (just judging from this forum's search feature). it is pretty cool that they are doing samples, so you can know for sure what you're getting, which I think is a smart way to address the issue that people had.

Okay, I've been into Kratom since late 2009 so I've been around the block a few times. At present I
have around 120 kilos in my stash so I know a little about the leaf. Some of the better batches I've
had were from Mystic, fall 2018. The Red and Green Vietnam were spectacular as was the White Malay!
I still have one sealed quarter kilo of each of the Red and Green Vietnam, but sadly when I went back
to buy more of the White Malay at that time, it was sold out. I have four other 250 gram bags from that
time period that I've yet to open...Green Maeng Da, Red Maeng Da, White Maeng Da and White Sumatra,

The White Malay was great by itself! However, I had a blend of several different types of leaf that shined
when I added the White Malay to the mix. Sadly I can't remember exactly what that blend was but it
was an absolutely stellar bedtime blend with all the warm 'n fuzzy's everybody so covets, very euphoric and
relaxing. It was a mix of four different types but the only ones I remember are the White Malay, BB's Chocolate
Jong Kong and RVA's Royal Bentuangie! The forth ingredient was a Red but which Red has totally slipped my mind.

I snagged a half kilo of Mystic's Red Bali in late Dec. 2018 that blew my socks off....and I wasn't even
wearing any! Personally I thought it was better than a couple of other vendors that had some amazing
Red Bali, one in the Summer of 2018 and the other was Feb. or March of 2019! Mystic also had some very good
Yellow Thai in Dec. 2018. It wasn't as potent as the Red Bali, but it did the trick, mid spec, smoooothhhh with
nice euphoria and a wakeful relaxation if ya' know what I mean.

I'd love to grab some of Mystic's leaf if I could get away with it but my wife would have to sleep in another room
if added more to my stash.

Anyhoo, if this is the same supplier Mystic had during the fall of 2018 I'd love to grab a few 250 gram bags.

For anyone that's hesitant, they have 25 gram sample bags for four bucks! That's how I got turned on to the

I still have my receipt from 1/13/2020 and I still have some of my samples! I ordered White Vietnam, Super Green, Green MD, White MD, Red Bali, phatcracker and Red Vietnam. The samples were $3 each and total was $29.15 with $8.15 shipping. I had a coupon code NY2020, must've been for Happy New Year. Because I was just starting I didn't have enough experience to compare it with others. Wondering if that was a good period or one of the off times. Wishing you much success.

Thank you. I've gotten some samples recently, lots of vendors starting new businesses (Nature Kratom) or looking for new customers (The Kratom Family), some long established (Happy Hippo). There's so much competition and some on Reddit looking for handouts. Some samples are so small some complained they weren't even a full dose for them. I can tell the difference between green, fresh and clumpy vs. darker drier bulk. I have so much now since jumping on the SOSA discount bandwagon and trying Philly (for 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th times) my budget is shot but I hope everyone gives Mystic a try.

yeah I went ahead and spent my next month's budget on more Sosa discount, but it worked out. I didn't know it was a bandwagon hah

I don't go on reddit much, I didn't know people were doing that. how cheap is kratom? one of the reasons I switched from drugs to kratom is I could never align my finances with my needs. that's not the case now; if it was, it wouldn't be worth it. I don't mind if people help them out, but before they do they should check to see if it is legal in the city/state they're sending it to. there's a lot of smaller cities in certain states that have banned it, especially in Mississippi for example.

I looked at mystic's pricing, it's pretty good. I would be interested in seeing some new reviews of the old popular ones. I wonder if the user phatcracker is still around to try the new formulation of his namesake.

stash. I have a limited shelf life at this point so my stash will definitely outlive me!

Given that my consumption is around 3/4 kilo a year that stash would last well into my grandchildren's lives.

(The other thing about being old is I can *easily* build up a stash to last my lifetime. At this point 15 kilos would be plenty. I think I'm around 1/3 of the way there so I may well hit that by the end of this year).

Even if stored in a cool dark place (I assume this is best practice?) does the potency not degrade over time?

There's another thread here about this - tests *apparently* show that, no, there is no real effective shelf life (with folks saying batches even stored improperly for years are just as strong as when they first arrived).

I think it would be prudent to store yours with the idea that keeping away from heat and sunlight and sealed up well might make it last longer (although on that thread even those things seem to be debunked).

I bought from Mystic in the before days and liked everything I got. Even though my brain gets a little fried trying to parse meaning in their colorful and mythological descriptions. I particularly liked Mystic Vampire, Big Red (okay that one I could figure out,) Phatcracker, and Gandalf (possibly a white, Gandalf the White?) I still have my Poseidon's Trident, which is light, clear, and relaxing.

This was posted in another thread, but it fits here. Word was, that to potentiate any Red, the thing to do was add a pinch of Phatcracker. Worked for me. The new Phatcracker seems much like the old one to me, pinch for pinch.

In the last few months I restocked my Vampire, Phat and Big Red, and I have added Werewolf to my little Mystic Family. Werewolf appears to be a straight ahead pain relief, relaxing (but not stupifying) Red.

If I want stupifying, and at times I do, I find Liza's Trainwreck does the trick. Also a sample of Sosa Red Sunda 2019, that I guard with my life.

So back to Mystic Island, even if I hadn't had good experiences with them, their response to criticism seems respectful, thorough, and clear. Conscientious even. So welcome back. I look forward to trying some new stuff, even if I can't figure out what it is from the name.

I bought Phatcracker and vamp, from them years ago, and it was really good. After that they got alot of bad reviews, so I didnt go back, because I was worried, they really hurt them selves bad with that bad batch.

I agree if this is the case they should be held accountable. I'm new here and give everyone a chance until they prove they are shady or mal practices. IF THEY have already ruined their reputation ...

That's all I am saying - They HAD their chance. They HAD tons of customers... and the Reputation was totally ruined.

There's 200 Vendors out there. Have you given a chance to (Name a dozen, proven, long time vendors w/ Excellent Rep's here!) - hey, it's a VERY competitive business! But one thing... Web Hosting is CHEAP - So they leave their website up, 3 years, for what it costs them, $5 bucks a Month ? Then come back HERE expecting to pump the good ole' Double MM Money Machine again ?? lol

Haven't looked lately but - Isn't there a Half Dozen PAID advertisers here, supporting Double MM ?? Have you tried Hudson Valley yet? Have you tried Viable Solutions? I'm very surprised we don't here more talk about Viable - a BIG vendor, yes, but super professional & long history... Just a couple off top of my head. Generally Speaking, the best vendors Do Not Post here, they're too busy packing & shipping orders! ~ Herbal RVA and Fused Flora, DO participate here and there's 2 more with excellent Reputations.

I've ordered from about 10 top vendors reviewed here that allows me too, but its hard to pick the best strains for me. I have yet to have the fire by denette, tfh, luckys, rhino.

Oh my gosh! would you believe it? It's hard to pick the best for me too!! It's actually a real strain.

It's hard for most ppl to choose and hit targets, in particular when there are specific uses or gaps in the tool box to fill. I've sure got them. I hit multiple targets at once too which is doable
with willingness, some time, effort and ideally some note taking apps, you can run as far as you want but simplicity is enough.

Your enemy here is a consumer mindset. This need not perplex you at all. I'll explain in a min.

Vendor perspective : All mentioned are very good at sourcing. And.. they are one or two people trying to not get crushed and maintain a good thing. Others that manage non private have an established thing running full time, long term. Vetted vendors referenced here are not "commercial kratom". I'm in groups. I have acct's at non private vendors. I still use both. I did well before groups formed. I was getting what is right for me before I was in groups.

Getting into private groups is primarily natural occurrence of being a participating customer, a friend or both. Lucky does this more recently but applying is not how most end up in groups.

Important truth:
In order to get what you want
You've got to want what you have first

If what you get is what it's supposed to be. AND.. if you take retaining sensitivity seriously (I can help with any of these thing if you ask & if sincerely want to know) - then this is the main point:
What is right for you is not the same today as it will be next year or in 3 months. The time scale may shrink or expand. Why haven't you started to experiment with blending?
If you don't like what you get, use it to make something that you do. I've been doing it every dose, every day for more than 5 years. Kept the same effective dose level too after it went down & I discovered a better experience. It's a choice.
It's not what the crowd will encourage you to do or even tolerate the possibility.

You decide the limits & freedoms of your reality so I suggest not judging anything heavily by color or clump-iness, etc.. You could paint yourself into more than one corner.

While I agree with some of what you say when you bring up "blending" I know for a fact I will not live long enough to be able to do that successfully.

Think of it this way: right now I have around six dozen strains that work for me (all bought from quality, small batch vendors and *most* bought with test reports showing high levels of the good stuff). I do journal but even keeping track of 60-70 strains in a journal with (as you mention) things working differently on a day by day basis it's a bewildering task. Now you bring up blending those - the combinations of those strains could well run into the tens of thousands without even trying (with, say, three blends of 70 items you get 50k+ combos). I could not even BEGIN to figure out what worked and what didn't.

Ah, you might say, but then you blend a red you know works a certain way with a white that... nope and nope. That red might work that way ONCE and never again. Same with the white. And the combo might work in ways never imagined. Just not anything other than a crapshoot.

And there's nothing wrong with that - as I always say here, if there's one thing about Kratom that's certain (and there's almost nothing else) it's that it works differently for every single person. Each of us is our own best judge of what works and what doesn't. Clearly blends work for you and I'm tickled for it, but equally clearly there's no freakin' way they would work for me other than just one more "hey what's going to happen today?" sort of lottery. And overall there's nothing particularly wrong with that except I need it to be just a *little* more clearly defined, even if the results still aren't completely categorized.

The best I can do with blends is take what a vendor has made - those do (sometimes) work for me and I have some favorites. I guess on my "days off" (the days I don't NEED Kratom and therefore usually don't take any, about two or three days a week) I could experiment just for fun. But FOR ME it would never be anything more than just a lark.

There was a time period where we were getting a lot of negative reviews on a specific batch of Phatcracker for a period of a month, a little longer, but if you keep going in time there are positive reviews that are being made. We got out of that kratom and moved on. At some point around that time we had run low on our original supplier and had to order from another Indonesian which is where that problem stemmed from. We also lost a shipment and had to get a domestic load from California, but now we are back in stock 100% with our regular kratom supplier with plenty of fresh stock received in Feb and more to come. We understand how these past events would cause someone to use caution when considering if they should purchase from our company. This is why we are giving away kilos worth of samples every single month that we are on this forum, to prevent that from ever happening again and hopefully preventing Ballz from doing what he just did which is aside from pulling the reviews from the past, which I may add, conveniently left out all the positive reviews, left out how he went after people who came to our defense. He called us the "worst vendor", I do not see how that is even close to being an honorable statement. We are the "worst vendor" because we hit a bad stretch in some boxes? Every customer that contacted us was either refunded or we replaced their product. If we were not contacted by someone who was unhappy, we apologize for that inconvenience. I pride myself on doing everything I can to make sure that the customer is taken care of and has had a satisfactory experience. Why would I do otherwise, thats bad business and its not who I am as a person. "Dozens of customers shipped bunk, dirt, hair, twigs, and monkey poo", we can all see the over the top rhetoric being used here. Monkey poo? All we ask is that if someone is going to review our kratom at least keep it all the way honest and try to refrain from exaggerations, however I am not sure he was exaggerating. Monkey poo, completely false. I can see how there would be stems I can see how the other items made it into the kratom, there is a thread on here that talks about people getting strange things inside their kratom from many vendors. It happens, but to add monkey poo to the list is quite unnecessary.

I left this forum because I decided it was not worth my energy to try and go up against someone who always had negative things to say about us. At one point it was said that we got our kratom off of random tarps throughout Indonesia, and people believed him. One of the main reasons that I decided to come back and offer those free samples every month was because I knew that when I showed up this is what would happen. Therefore I made it so that just about everyone who purchased our product would know what it is they are getting before they bought it. How can we argue against that? I am not asking for anything in return, no reviews, no purchases, nothing. This is where we started once we came over from r/kratomm and I wanted to give back in the best way I could. We started with giveaways on the original sub and wanted to continue, especially since times may be a little tight for some. We understand that there are times when we have to give.

I have nothing but positivity for everyone, I do not have hard feelings against anyone. I just want things that are said about us to be within reason without being over the top for dramatic effect. If there is a problem contact us and we will handle it, understand that these things happen. This time we are not going anywhere and we will be continuing to do giveaways as far as samples are concerned as well as many other style giveaways and pretty solid promotions. I appreciate all those who took the time to read this and look at it objectively.
